Lovely property, we had the best time staying here. Had no issues as check in and the stay was very simple so had no need to contact the host. 6 of us stayed for a girls weekend and had plenty of space. Would definitely recommend!

The absolutely perfect place to stay for a super relaxing get away. Especially perfect with dogs as the area is completely secure and loads of places to walk them. Completely private allowing you to totally switch off! Cannot recommend this place enough.

great place to stay, great size of cabin for the maximum of 8 guests. the cabin was immaculate, very clean, beds are really comfy too. good views, lovely walks around if you’re outdoorsy, banchory not too far away for restaurants. the host was great at communicating with you! very happy with our stay and would love to return in the near future.

We loved the cabin and the location. The cabin was so pretty and very well equipped, and had so many personal touches from dog biscuits, to directions to the beautiful walks nearby. We instantly felt at home and the 3 days went by in a flash as there were so many great places to visit for coffees, lunch and dog walks. The dogs had a great time as well! Fiona was so helpful and friendly.

Lovely accommodation, suitable for weekend or longer stays. The kitchen is very well-equipped with everything you need if you are fully self-catering. Very quiet situation with lovely walks nearby. We have already rebooked! Highly recommended.

A genuinely wonderful stay at Mayen Estate, Ross was responsive, informative, and a great host. On arrival we were given a hamper with local goods, and a card for my partners birthday, as well as a bottle of champagne (which was very much enjoyed!). The house was fantastic, squeaky clean when we arrived and beautifully furnished, with plenty of firewood for the twin fires. The grounds at Mayen are spectacular, and I would highly recommend having a walk around all 700 acres, sadly the walled gardens were closed and under renovation when we stayed. Ross provided a full map of local recommendations, as well as connecting us with a taxi company for a visit to a local distillery. The local recommendations were spot on, and really helped to plan the trip. A lovely stay, and we look forward to returning in the future.

This BnB was absolutely amazing. The cabin itself was immaculate and just happened to have everything I forgot to bring or buy! The area around the cabin is beautiful. Just a 10 minute walk from the beach which was beautiful in itself. It was also amazing to see so many seals which brought people from all around. There is a large Tesco roughly a 10 minutes drive away which was ideal. I was amazed how clean the hot tub was. I am always sceptical about using hot tubs but I was reassured by the fact it was spotless, nothing lingering inside and had been preheated prior to my arrival. I do not own an electric car but there is an electric car charger available which I thought was brilliant. I would 110% recommend this cabin for small families or couples looking for a quiet, cosy little get away. Thank you to the hosts for such a lovely time away. I will remember this trip for years to come!!

The Kiritara Lodge was amazing! We had such a lovely time here and will definitely be returning. Pree and Ben were wonderful hosts – Pree was incredibly helpful and kind. The lodge is spotless and has everything you need. The wood burner is fantastic, and the views, especially paired with a sunset, are breathtaking. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

We had a great stay over Christmas and felt so chilled over a usually stressful period of hosting. Would definitely recommend this place all year but felt extra special at Christmas with the decorations and snacks waiting for us on arrival. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas but could happily stay at the lodge and stay entertained so it accommodates for everyone. Thanks for a great experience

Decided to stay a bit further out while visiting our son in Aberdeen and so glad we did. Irene’s place is very comfortable and clean with a stunning outlook and a fab hot tub in a private location. Beds and sofas are comfortable, beautiful big dining table and everything you need in the kitchen. Also very warm and cosy. Irene herself was extremely welcoming and gave us great detailed directions with warnings of road closures, as well as recommendations for walks and eating out. Heartily recommend this place - great to meet an Airbnb host who personally cares for their guests and accommodation over those running a business with multiple flats and no care for the customer. Thanks Irene! ☺️
