My stay at Linda’s place was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish, Linda was an outstanding host, making me feel very welcome in her cosy house. The location is simply perfect, right in the heart of the village, but quiet and private. With a large comfy bed and homely living room, it was ideal for my needs as a solo traveller, and I felt instantly at home. It was also absolutely spotless - the cleanest and tidiest property I’ve ever stayed in. I’d definitely stay here again

The Woodend Retreat was a gorgeous getaway for a birthday treat! The property itself was absolutely spotless and felt so cozy and homely. There were so many amenities left for us which we appreciated hugely. Kevin was extremely friendly and such a lovely host. The surrounding area was stunning and we enjoyed lots of walks during our time there. We would absolutely come back and stay again! Such a beautiful gem in the heart of Speyside! The perfect retreat within minutes of the City Centre. Lovely large rooms with stunning decor throughout. Little quirky touches here and there which make this a gorgeously unique property. Fab kitchen with everything you need to cook, and also super easy to have food delivered to your door. Situated in a very quiet and peaceful area, with ample parking right outside your door, and Pam could not have been more helpful, flexible and accommodating. Would highly recommend as a home from home in Aberdeen!

My stay at Elizabeth and David's home was truly a unique and wonderful experience. As someone from Singapore, a bustling city-state, the tranquility of their mountain home was a welcome escape. I experienced a level of peace I haven't felt in a long time, and enjoyed the simple beauty of being surrounded by nature. I had one of the best nights of sleep I've had in ages! The opportunity to disconnect from city life and simply relax in my own space was invaluable. Elizabeth and David also prepared a delicious breakfast, and we had a lovely time sharing stories and experiences. It was a shame I only stayed for one night. The location is beautifully remote, and a perfect place to experience a bit of 'off-grid' living. I would absolutely recommend their home to anyone seeking peace and quiet, and I hope to return someday. Thank you, Elizabeth and David, for opening your home and sharing such a special place.

Calderwood Annexe is a beautiful space, perfectly proportioned and spotlessly clean. The views are breathtaking, I would never tire of cosying up on the sofa under a blanket listening to the birds and watching the river. Aimé was a wonderful host, helpful and friendly but unobtrusive. We had a fabulous break and I would highly recommend Calderwood Annexe as a perfect base for anyone looking to explore Speyside. Absolutely loved this place, Elaine was so kind and so lovely. Explained everything amazingly, met us and showed us around and it was just great. For the price, it was a 10/10 experience and hope to book here again when I come back to Elgin!

I stayed about a month and travelled around a bit. It's a good location the weather is a little more dry and sunny in this area compared to the surroundings. If you need a minimalist spot to stay while in the highlands or passing through this is a good location. There are lots of places within the close vicinity to a hour each way depending on what you are looking to do. Very easy to get to and in and out of with a local shop and market a few blocks down. Host was super nice and communicative and the facilities were perfect for my needs whilst I stayed.

Great wee place - everything you need, lovely view from the patio, quiet, very comfortable bed.

It was a great stay at Denise’s lovely place, exactly as described. Especially the access to the garden was great. Would definitely recommend!
