Away from the hustle and bustle from central Denpasar. Great opportunity to experience the life of the locals. The host is very responsive and helpful. Grab and Gojek will find it easily and it's not too bad to go the hot spots of the island. The place has a kitchen if you prefer or need to cook. It was a good cost benefit ratio.

A lovely room in the heart of Ubud. So easy to be able to walk to everything from the room. The family were so friendly and the staff were very helpful. We stayed for 2 nights here and was the perfect place. We also arranged the mount Batur tour through Agung which was great, all planned and booked for us for the next day at short notice for a really reasonable price.

Wij waren wat eerder bij de accomodatie dan de inchecktijd, maar we konden gelukkig onze spullen kwijt en gebruik maken van de faciliteiten. Het is een prachtige plek, als je aan het zwembad zit heb je uitzicht op de zee. Ook de menukaart is goed bij de air b&b zelf. We waren beide dol op de chicken curry! Het personeel is onwijs vriendelijk, en bij het uitchecken kregen we tips mee (wij waren op rondreis) Echt een aanrader! Wij zouden zeker nog eens terugkomen.

Tout le personnel est au top. Awan fait des petits déjeuner excellent 😍 son service est au top toujours réactif. Nous pouvons commander des massages à la villa ou faire laver le linge. Tous les jours le ménage est au top. Ne pas venir dans cette maison si vous n’aimez pas la nature. Nous c’était super, vraiment typique on a adore on recommande fortement 🫶🏼

Our stay at Hermanto's Joglo was fantastic! the place is both comfortable and well-equipped, making it perfect for extended stays. It's prime location puts you close to everything you need. Hermanto is incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring a seamless experience. Plus the added bonus of some very friendly dogs on the property made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend for a cozy home away from home!

What a beautiful place, your own piece of Bali paradise! Super cute villas, I want to stay at them all. Pool and communal areas are great. The garden is beautiful. We have been to Ubud several times already and have always stayed in five-stars hotels. We love this town very much and it has never disappointed. This time has become special because we stayed at Ross’s place. It is highly recommended to anyone who dreamed of living in the jungle. Ross’s place is a large old garden that imperceptibly turns into a tropical forest. The living spaces made of teak wood are harmoniously allocated among this garden along with cascade ponds. Despite the proximity of the town centre, nothing can be heard inside except the sounds of the forest and the murmur of the water. A very attentive and almost invisible house-keeping team adds up to the tranquility of the space. In short, if we had lived there for a month, we would have learned Zen. Thanks to Ross for being willing to share this with others!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this beautiful home on a private property. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The location was peaceful and offered plenty of privacy, making it the ideal getaway. The staff was incredibly helpful and made sure everything was spotless by cleaning the house every day. The host was exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She even invited us for dinner and gave us the chance to share some food with her and her family, which made the experience even more special. We truly appreciated the hospitality and warmth throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and homely retreat!

Wayan and his team went above and beyond for us during our stay at their beautiful villa. The team were all very friendly and helpful all with providing their services with a smile. Our first time to Bali and they ensured that it was a fantastic experience. The villa was beautiful and in a perfect location; all great destinations were in walking distance and very easy to get around. The villa was always clean and kept after with a warm home feeling. Villa is completely what as you see in picture, we love it.. Restaurant you need and potato head is near by walking distance. Jodie has quick response while you asking anything. Ricco is driver who you pick-up or drop off you to airport, he is amazing man, thank you for him. This is the place that you can stay continously..

Loved my stay. Waking up next to my horse was a dream come true. I so enjoyed being surrounded by the gentle sounds of nature every day. Each morning started with the joy of seeing my horse right outside, true happiness. Also - really enjoyed cooking in the kitchen! Loved chilling and relaxing by the pool after my ride. Bed was exceptional too. See you guys soon.

This place is magic if you want to see and feel nature of Bali far from another tourists. Take a tour with Deva around rice fields, waterfall, local streeets. It’s for free, but it will definetly beat all the Bali tours from tourist booklets. In this place you can see and feel real Bali, with sound of nature and all the creatures around, meet friendly and helpfull balinese people, try local food. Thank you Dewa, it’s you who made our stay unforgettable.

Made is a fantastic host—super friendly and very responsive. We stayed at this house for a month and loved its remote location, away from traffic. As mentioned in the listing, geckos live on the ceilings, helping keep flies away. We got used to them quickly, though we had to clean up after them occasionally and they might make some noises from time to time. Since the house is near rice fields with lots of vegetation, insects, frogs, and spiders sometimes made their way inside. The pool, just three meters from the bedroom, was a big bonus, it was also regularly cleaned by local staff. The air was fresh, the surroundings peaceful, and the internet was fast enough for video calls, despite occasional freezes. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and were really sad to leave. If you’re looking to escape routine and experience Ubud’s authentic vibes, I highly recommend this place!

Het verblijf was rustig gelegen, het zwembad voor de deur zorgde voor de perfecte verkoeling. De straat uitlopen en je had een paar restaurantjes om lekker lokaal te eten. Persoon was ook altijd netjes en aardig.

A truly welcoming family, who did everything to make the stay as comfortable as possible and also invited me to a local ceremony. Thanks, that was impressive! The house lies in a traditional charming balinese courtyard, is spacious and kept clean with a great jungle porch. Don't forget incense sticks and mosquito spray for evenings outside ; ) Anyway I fully recommend Dek's place.
