Perfect place for a getaway! Beautiful, quiet view with everything you could need inside the cottage. Loved the games, hot tub and fireplace as our downhill ski plans were a bust due to weather. Some good walking trails near Blue Sea.

Al and Claudine were friendly, approachable, and professional right from the moment we arrived. I would highly recommend Commanda Lake Resort to anyone looking to get away from it all.

Cecilia and Mabel were wonderful hosts. The property is as described and has a lot of activities. We wanted a few extra adult life jackets for kayaking and she helped arrange it the same day. A ton of board games, outdoor activities for all age groups. Loved our stay!

The place is great. About 20-25 minutes from New Liskeard, which has everything you need, including great restaurant, 28 on the Lake. The view from the cottage/veranda is beautiful. Cottage has its own boat ramp, which worked well for us. The hot tub was amazing, we really used it a lot. The sauna also worked well. Cottage was clean and everything worked. And, finally, Katrin was extremely fast with her responses and her answers were always helpful.

Incredible place, in great location…lake, nature, plenty of activities. Host very easy to communicate with and very friendly. I would book again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this great cottage! The water is amazing - truly fantastic swimming. We’ve rented a ton of cottages with our family over the past decade and this cottage is my #1 for gorgeous, clear, beautiful swimming. I could spent this whole review just talking about it! We spent many hours on the dock - a spectacular view. The lake itself was very quiet - a really peaceful setting. And the rope swing on the island was amazingly fun. The wrap around deck was large and made for another great sitting/eating area. Beds were very comfortable and the cottage comes with a well furnished kitchen, many towels and tons of fire wood. The property around the cottage is large and very private. The only thing to note for other renters is something other reviews have also mentioned: the stairs down to the lake. If you are able-bodied, and comfortable with stairs on uneven terrain, no worries. However, my mom had a very difficult time making it down to the dock and back up

We had a wonderful week at Domaine and Jasmin's vacation house. It was comfortable, had everything we needed, and we felt very welcome. We enjoyed walks to the lake and watching the sunsets, the stars at night, and the local birds. Nearby there was some very nice hiking and we also enjoyed Rouyn-Noranda and what the area had to offer. I would return again and the biggest problem was that the week went by too quickly! :)

Great spot, beautiful cottage in a beautiful area. No complaints, would book again. Booking was a little confusing as it ran through the company and airbnb. But it makes sense as the cottage is apart of a larger family business. Very helpful staff and extremely accommodating.

Was a great stay! We loved our little cabin, my fiancé and I we’re lookingfor something with old school cottage vibes and that’s exactly what we got here 😌 the property is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff are super friendly and helpful! Was great for us and our kids! Will definitely be back soon!

Très beau chalet bien équipé. L'accès à deux lacs (dont Heney qui est beaucoup plus grand) nous plaît beaucoup pour nos randonnées en kayaks et pique-niques sur les îles environnantes. Une épicerie et pharmacie complètes à proximité offrent une tranquillité d'esprit et un côté pratique. Il y a avait beaucoup de place pour ranger nos aliments au réfrigérateur. Il est très agréable de relaxer sur la terrasse à l'abri de la pluie et des moustiques.

We had a wonderful experience and would rent again without hesitation. Great communication and the property is even better than as described. It is very well equipped both inside the cottage and the bunkie, and outdoors. We particularly liked using the barge and the kayaks, and the ducks that swam up to us every few hours. It was a very peaceful experience with beautiful views and was made even more special with great interaction with the hosts. Thank you so much Alayna and family.

It was a great place to stay very friendly host and beautiful spot to stay I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice place with good people around there is lots to do go fishing have fires go out on the lake best place I’ve been to yet

I have stayed at some nice Airbnb over the years, but this one tops them all. Rosemary‘s Cottage is truly special location, wise and the Cottage itself. Rosemary and Mike could not have been more accommodating hosts. We felt right at home and cared for. I am really hoping to come back for another stay. Do yourself a favor. If you want a relaxing getaway in the most beautiful setting with great fishing and about to explore with, book Rosemary‘s cottage. I can’t thank Mike and Rosemary enough for providing an incredible experience!!

Great spot to stay if you snowmobile. Had 4 vehicles, 3 with trailers. A tight fit. The neighbours met us when we arrived. I don’t think I communicated how many vehicles we would be in.. My bad. Showed us where we could park, a few other tips like where the firewood was for the wood stove (we are rural people well versed in wood stoves) was and we were good to go for the week. Lots of warmth without the wood stove, just us rural people like the heat it gives. The fellow spoke English well, ‘cause my French is still not where I would like it. All great. I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Nous sommes restés plus de 5 semaines dans ce très beau chalet! Un endroit magnifique avec sa grande terrasse qui donne sur le lac Témiscamingue! Ce chalet offre deux grands lits confortables, des salles de bains modernes et toutes équipées avec laveuse-sécheuse, un poêle à bois, tv. et une cuisinette fonctionnelle avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin! La propreté est impeccable et un gros merci à Béatrice pour son excellent travail, ses bons services et sa grande gentillesse! La communication avec Loïc fut rapide et courtoise! Their place is astonishing, with a beautiful view. It’s peaceful, cozy, and incredibly nice. The inside of the unit was okay, but I think it was worth the money.
