Home from home, stunning period feel with all the mod cons you could need. Hot tub is wonderful. Loved the Aga cooker in the kitchen, just be mindful for small children as it is always on and hot. Very private and some lovely walks around the estate. Highly recommended!

The cottage offers great space for the guests and is in a nice quiet area with pretty surroundings. Simon and the team are friendly and very open and ready to accommodate or offer local suggestions. It took a little to realize you may need to manage the thermometer lest the heat turn off, and don't miss the note about utility charges. They cover a certain amount but could expect around 60 gbp in utility fee for about 4 folks to stay a few nights. Overall we had a great stay here and loved the space for our trip. The heated blankets on the beds were a nice touch to have too.

We had a lovely mini break for my mum's birthday, the accommodation was perfect. Peaceful and private with a great enclosed garden for my daughters to run around. Inside the accommodation was beautiful, very homely. We will definitely return in the future.

The cottage was lovely and tranquil, and Andrew and Angie were great hosts. They left a great book with hints and tips and notes around the cottage. Coffee and biscuits were left for us, which were much appreciated, and immediately drank and scoffed upon arrival. The garden and decking area is brilliant , and our 2 dogs had a great time playing hide and seek around the tree. The hot tub was amazing, and much needed after long walks around the area. Thank you again, and we will definitely be back.

The farmhouse is very spacious yet cosy too. It was a little difficult to find in the dark but Sophie guided us on the phone. The young adults in our family would have appreciated better WiFi connectivity than in just a few rooms but other than that we had a really enjoyable stay, close to our relatives in Forfar. Would definitely stay again.

My wife,daughter and her friend Stayed in Rebecca’s lovely cottage for couple nights and couldn’t fault anything.Beautiful cottage and garden with hotub which was great,good location close to shops,bars and restaurants.All round 10/10 and special touch Rebecca arranged to have my daughters birthday balloons set up looking brilliant!would definitely book again!thanks

Capo Farmhouse is a true gem to find. From the clear and accurate pictures you can really see what the house & surrounding area is going to be. What the pics do not convey is how spacious and private the house is. This is an incredible part of the world and using Capo Farmhouse (&cottages) as a base to explore from is an honour. And, if you want to stay close to 'home' the Farmhouse is absolutely the best place to do this. They have a great array of games, the hot tub, the beautiful gardens and lovely walks close by without having to drive. We would highly recommend the Farmhouse and the standout features for us are the cosy feel of the place with the fire on. The ridiculously comfortable beds. The amazing surroundings and how private & peaceful it is. Just remember to take your own coffee!

My husband and I and our 20 year old daughter had a wonderful stay at Butler Cottage. The estate grounds are amazing with a mix of woodland and farm fields scattered over the hills. We enjoyed daily walks done and along the river. If your animal lovers like we are it was extra special. The Highland cows and sheep add beauty to the scenery, but the deer, hares, pheasants and other birds of prey really add the wow factor. The cottage is full of charm with an old world feel. It’s been very smartly renovated and decorated and is in great condition. We loved the farmhouse style kitchen which is open to a comfortable living room with high ceilings. The built in beds are beautifully done and although on the small side we enjoyed the authentic touch. The wood stoves on each end of the cottage work well to add extra warmth in the evenings. Ross was a gracious host. The place was with fresh flowers and a basket of fresh goods from the farm. He even had the fire started for the hot tub.

We visit Scotland every year and we’ve stayed in some wonderful places over the last 21 years. Gale’s place is definitely one of our top three favourites! Goodness - it is impeccably furnished, comfortable and wonderfully spacious. We absolutely loved the evenings by the fire, the bright and airy conservatory, the comfortable kitchen, extremely generous bedrooms and table tennis. We will most definitely be back if they’ll have us!

Perfect Location, only a few minutes from the town but you feel in the countryside. hosts were amazing. Highly Recommended!

Fantastic stay at Boot cottage, great location to explore around the area including Dunkeld, Pitlochry and Dundee. Some lovely and thoughtful touches when we arrived too for us and our dog Lottie. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed a the Red Roof Cottage whilst my wife was on a winter skills mountaineering course on the Cairngorms. The property was beautifully presented and in a lovely spot by the river where we walked our dog. It’s fair enough away from the hustle and bustle on Aviemore but only a 15min drive if you are basing activities from there! Definitely hope to be back

This was a perfect quiet getaway with a beautiful view, and nice/convenient kitchen and laundry amenities. Bed had a heating mattress which was nice too. It got a bit cold even with radiators, but maybe we were using them wrong… Google Maps routed us incorrectly and getting there at night it was hard to follow Jill’s given instructions, but the instructions were clear. Overall very happy with the place and its amazing value! Look forward to staying again!

We had a magical stay at the cottage! The pictures don’t do justice to it and we highly recommend getting better pictures. We got very lucky with the weather, saw sun, rainbow and snowfall! The place is also aptly located for northern lights sightings. We got amazing sightings from the cottage on two nights. The Aga kitchen is 5 stars in itself! We loved bringing in new years at the cottage with our little baby. The cot and high chair were both super helpful. Thank you Jennifer for being so responsive and helping our stay.

Kath’s place was lovely and cozy. With personal touches like games, videos, wood for the fire, kitchen staples and, treats, toys and dishes for the doggos. The only problem with our stay was that it wasn’t long enough. We could have easily stayed another week. Kath was a joy to communicate with, and was very hospitable. There were clear instructions and many suggestions for things to do and where to eat. And most were walkable. The village, itself was quaint and quiet and made us feel right at home, like we did at the cottage. And there were many sights just a short drive away. We loved everything about the stay at Paulas cottage, and will definitely be back! Next time, we will take the time to meet Kath, and make more time to explore. Thanks again for a lovely stay! Our second time staying here. the cottage is perfect as a base to explore Speyside and is a very comfortable place to stay. we would happily book and stay there again

I picked the cottage for a few nights away as it looked gorgeous and the plan was to spend most of our time just chilling in the house. The property is stunning. Really beautifully decorated and has a lovely luxurious feel. The kitchen is probably the best equipped I have ever stayed in, not only in regards to the equipment but also the pantry staples, cleaning items and lovely glassware and crockery. There are a host of gorgeous books, novels and cookbooks throughout the house. The bed is DIVINE, and the bedroom so peaceful. The wood burner in the bedroom was such a treat too. Patrycja was really responsive from booking right to when we left, helpful with all questions and local recommendations. I highly recommend the cottage and would definitely return.

Due to family illness we were totally unable to get away despite hoping it would be possible a few days late. At all times Ewan was helpful and understanding, offering other dates and looking into removing change charges if we needed. We are absolutely planning to try again later in the year!

Perfect location to explore Speyside! The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped for a delightful stay. Heating was excellent, bed was comfortable and we cooked a few meals easily in the kitchen. The cottage is on the high street but still quiet. The back of the cottage gives access to the walking track along the Spey. We walked to Craigellachie and had lunch at The Spey Inn, an easy 30-40 minute walk each way. We also walked to the Mash Tun, for a dram, easy stroll along the path back to the cottage. Super location, great cottage. I’d recommend staying here!
