I am worried about posting something too positive, in case it makes the property too busy, and we don't get a chance to come back!! However, I suppose we'd better do the right thing! This was a property that ticked all the boxes. Centrally located, but in a small gated and private community. Dedicated on-site parking. EXTREMELY comfortable beds! Very well appointed house. Ground floor, which was perfect for my 90yr old mum. Kitchen well stocked with new and quality appliances. Krupps 'Nespresso' machine with plenty of pods was very appreciated! Squeaky clean. Amazing welcome pack- loaf of fresh bread, milk, butter, cereal selection, coffee, tea, etc. Luscious towels. It is clear from the enthusiastic, instant, and extremely helpful communication, to the careful attention to detail, that Peter takes this business seriously. It matters to him that we are happy with our stay. ...and to be honest- with a property like this, how could we not be happy!!? We will definitely be back.

This was my second stay at Evelyn's place, and it was just as fantastic as I remember it! It feels luxurious, comfortable, and homey all at once. Evelyn and Chris are so quick to respond, and they love the Pitlochry area so they have lots of recommendations. Bed is very comfy, the TV is huge and easy to stream Netflix on, kitchen is fully stocked and very clearly labeled, instruction manual is clear and organized... I could go on. As for the neighborhood and location, Pitlochry is a charming town with lovely shops and restaurants and a train station within minutes' walk of Evelyn's place, and it's an amazing base from which to explore the Scottish Highlands! Very centrally located. You cannot go wrong with Pitlochry or with Evelyn's place.

Fabulous place to stay - very comfortable with everything you need (especially in the kitchen). Toasty and warm for a cool autumn weekend. Big spacious bedrooms and fantastic shower. We’d love to go back - Ballater is such a lovely place. Thank you Josephine and Stephen!

The Loft was as described on the listing. Easy check in, welcoming & friendly host. Close to family we were visiting. Beautiful location. Secure garden for our reactive dog was a major plus. We will definately return.

Our second time here and another great stay. The place is spacious and well-equipped and easily walkable to local shops, restaurants and pubs; Carron To Mumbai is a great restaurant and only a couple of minutes walk away.

We had a lovely week in Andrea’s flat.All was as described and in a central location but very quiet at night.Although it was cold outside it was cosy to come back to with comfortable beds and good showers.On arrival we were delighted to find milk shortbread and generous supplies of essentials which is not always the case!The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and had everything we needed.We enjoyed Montrose and also exploring the surrounding area by public transport.

Lovely comfortable and cozy accommodation in a great location in Brechin. Paul is a very responsive host with excellent communication. Really appreciate how clean and tidy the flat is with comfortable bedding, great heating, easy parking and is equipped with everything you could need. Loved all the extra touches, great scents and the Christmas tree! Highly recommend Paul and his flat and I plan on returning in the future. Thanks for a great stay.

Fantastic stay at this beautiful house. The hosts have thought of everything and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The sky at night was amazingly clear and the stars were incredible.

stayed here as we had a wedding 10 mins away. was a lovely, warm and cosy place. well fitted and beautifully done. really accommodating especially as we had a baby and needed cot. we also left something behind and Sandra made sure we got it back! thanks a million

Very lovely house with lots of mirrors what my daughter likes it a lot. More spacious than I think. Beautiful and great utensils. The conservatory is also beautiful with a nice view. Irene is a very friendly and responsive. It is really worth of money.

Amy's place was great - exactly what we needed for an extended stay through Jan & Feb. Amy was also extremely easy to communicate with and responsive to any queries we had. Thanks again Amy :)

Very lovely place for a family stay! Beautiful surroundings, if you love walking and hiking - even better! Probably not a super child friendly place if they are small as there’s loads of decorations and books around the house, but other than that - we were happy with the place.

This cottage was an excellent find. It was spotless with every amenity you could want and more. There were special little touches that made the cottage feel special and personalised to our needs and our reason for being there. The cottage is in a great location for walking/running or just exploring the local towns and villages. I would highly recommend Jacqui’s place and Jacqui was an excellent host and always responded to messages promptly.

A really lovely place to stay. The directions and details of how to access the building were spot-on. The accommodation was exactly as described and spotlessly clean and warm, with comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was very well stocked with glasses and crockery and the wine & biscuits were a nice touch. We would certainly stay again.

We enjoyed the stay. Ruth sent clear instructions and provided a general idea of the surroundings and the area. We really liked the location.

Absolutely fabulous stay in this beautiful place. Stunning view, cosy house. Great area brilliant local pub and eatiers on the door step, stunning beaches. We explored every day. We used the local bus service to have a night out in Stonehaven which is a great service. The house had plenty of store cupboard ingredients, cooking utensils. Had everything you could need even a fabulous board game . We loved it so so much and already want to come back.

Our third stay at Karen’s place and we’ve loved it every time. Such a great space inside and out. Gourdon is a lovely little seaside village for a holiday with nice walking paths along the coast in both directions, good local food, nice farm shops in the area, and plenty of things to do. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Been staying here for over a month due to work. It has been perfect for all my needs. The Annex is attached the hosts house but it is very private and peaceful.Will definitely stay here again.

What an experience! Well done, David and team. Absolutely nothing to take away from this accommodation. - all the parameters of measuring a good service scored the very top mark. And it was good value for money too. The team responded promptly when the toaster broke down and most courteously too. I recommend this accommodation fully and without any reservation at all.

Beautiful place so quiet for a city. Easy bus links into town. Very clean and tidy beautifully staged period property on a beautiful tree lined street.

We absolutely loved our stay in Pitlochry! Alyson’s apartment was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and in a fantastic location. Alyson was the perfect host. She was very responsive, met us at the apartment to welcome us and gave us some lovely recommendations. Our stay here was worth every penny and I would recommend this apartment to anyone planning a trip to Pitlochry. Thank you so much Alyson!

Convenient to Duthie Park and the Maritime Museum. Multiple groceries within an easy walk.

lovely stay in a great place. great views from the living room windows, plenty of space, well equipped kitchen. really peaceful surroundings and easy to get either into town for restaurants and cafes, or find some walking (or parkrun!). thanks for having us, we'll definitely be back!
