I stayed at the end of December to early January. The accommodation was clean, quiet, and the staff very helpful. It was 50 steps from the dive shop I was diving with which made it extra convenient. Despite the noise level outside on New Year’s Eve, the studio was nice and quiet and I slept like a baby, ready to go diving again next day. For the price it was a good place to stay.

Amy's self-contained studio apartment is large and private. It's the perfect hideaway and at the back of Arkipelago Divers, which is run by Amy and Pedro, with a joyful team. Being at the back of the dive center and restaurant, you're amongst residents (including pets) and some back-of-house operations. I like that family vibe. If you're a scuba diver, staying in Small La Laguna and with Arkipelagos is convenient, quiet, and essential for quality diving and expert guiding. The operation is well-run and very professional. Great for photographers too. The restaurant, pool, hang-out areas, beachfront, staff, and diving make this place complete. No need to go anywhere else. Amy is open-hearted, welcoming, and helpful to all with hands-on advice and assistance with travel and other information. 5 Star hospitality! I've had the best week, amazing dives, lots of laughs, and have been embraced like family. I'll be returning and will recommend to others. THANK YOU, Amy, Pedro, and crew!

It was an amazing time at Amami. Not only a brilliant location near by the seacoast and all the desirable tourist attractions (waterfalls, diving centre), but also the food in the hotel restaurant was exceptional! The staff’s friendliness and openness to share some local tips required an additional appreciation. Highly recommend!

Nous avons passé un séjour incroyable grâce à Amy et toute son équipe! Nous l'avons contacté le soir avant notre arrivée, en quelques minutes elle nous a organisé un transfert qui était juste parfait et très pratique. Sur place, l'accueil était très chaleureux et nous avons pu découvrir l'ambiance très familiale de toute son équipe. Celle-ci est très attentive pour vous faire passer un excellent séjour. Le logement est juste parfait, très propre et confortable, nous avons bien profité de la terrasse pour travailler et boire quelques bières...un vrai bonheur! J'en ai profité pour passer mon PADI Advance au club de plongée sur place, là aussi une expérience parfaite et une équipe au petit soin...que du bonheur! Merci Amy et toute l'équipe! 🙏

Amy's apartment is a pretty nice find for the price. You're amongst friendly locals and you'll never over sleep lol. You also are given access to the hotel pool and other amenities, so it's really a steal. She's on Small La Laguna. Its between Sabang and Big La Laguna. There aren't really swimming beaches since it's for drivers. But she had a pool and we had just arrived from white beach. There's no taxi or tric service to Small la Laguna so make sure to have a time of Sabang arrival for Amy and her staff. Highly recommend doing an island hopping tour through Amy for a fair and clear price. We had a good stay and would again.

My stay at Macrina’s place will always have a special place in my heart. This is a gem in Aninuan where Macrina, and her staff(Justin, Belen and all others) will treat you with kindness, warmth, and familiarity that will make you feel you are family. Her accommodation also hosts guests who are as special as she is. During breakfasts and dinners, I’ve had the pleasure of talking with people with such wisdom and depth. As a young female solo-traveler, this is the safest I have felt. Here you are not just a guest, you are a part of a community. Macrina’s place isn’t one of those trendy, picture-perfect accommodation. No, what she offers is far more superior than that. Her place has heart. She takes care of you along with the help of her husband and staff. If you value personal connections, a comfortable room, and delicious food, stay at Riverside! And stay for as long as you can because I wish I did! Thank you Macrina, wishing you and everyone blessings upon blessings.

A lovely room attached to a great diving resort. The resort itself focuses heavily on diving, but the owner was incredible at facilitating activities both in and out of the resort and made everything as painless as possible. The hassle of COVID restrictions to enter Mindoro was 100% worth it to escape the reality of NCR.

Our stay at Amami was fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable experience. The rooms were spotlessly clean, amenities and cozy beds. We particularly loved the everything especially the wooden house , the beach side, food was yummy and would definitely recommend this beautiful place anyone visiting the beautiful islands Big thanks to the staff Mr. Glenn the bartender and the sweetest. one of the best places in Puerto Galera! My favorite was their friendly and accommodating staff. They are responsive to our needs at all times! Also, their small restaurant-cafe serves good food! We will definitely come back.

Amy is a perfect host and made sure communication was clear, timely, and professional . Amy and Pedro made sure all our local transportation and general getting around was very easy. This is a beautiful area and nice and quiet at night. The diving is great in the area and these hosts can get you squared with anything you need in the area, as they’ve lived there a long time and know their resources well. The daily breakfast was a real nice amenity. WiFi worked well. Plumbing and AirCon in good working condition. We walked easily to anything we needed. We recommend this place if you want an escape and you too will wish time would stand still.

The driftwood cottage was a great stay, it was very clean and comfortable and fit the desciption very well. The crew is what makes this place exceptional, they arranged everything for us from motorbike rentals to a ride on their cousin’s boat to get us to Abra de Ilog. I don’t know how else we would have gotten there! Food and cocktails in the tiki bar next door are great and they stand ready morning, afternoon and evening to serve you. The location is very quiet and away from anything exciting to do, but for us this was a plus. Diving or eating out is 10-30 minutes away by motorbike or tricycle. 5 stars and I advise you stay here when you want to stay in or around Puerto Galera.

Macrina ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin und immer für die Gäste ansprechbar, wenn sie Fragen haben. Sie hat uns auch sehr dabei geholfen, von Porto Galera bis zur Fähre nach San Jose zu kommen. Sie ist großartig!
