We thoroughly enjoyed our friends stay at this quaint, cozy, clean camp on False River. The sunrises and sunsets were fabulous and sitting around the fire pit was so relaxing! Would definitely return! Thanks for making us feel welcomed and the fine hospitality!

All I can say is WOW! This home is more Beautiful in person and the pictures do not do it justice. My Daddy passed away and me, my siblings and our children all live out of town/state so we needed a place to all gather for his services. This home is located between Lafayette and New Iberia and you can get to it from Hwy 90 and Hwy 182. The Homeowners introduced themselves and were so helpful with anything we needed and even brought us a Fresh King Cake. After booking this home I reached out to the Host Dustin for items that were needed and he was very helpful as well. Everything in the home worked and was extremely clean. The layout of the home and property is amazing. We had children playing in the game room and adults in the main house which worked out great. The beds are very comfortable and have quality linen. Even though we were all there for a Sad time, this home was Perfect and very comforting. We even talked about booking it again in the Summer for a Family reunion. Thank you

If you're looking for a great place to stay and enjoy quiet time with family, fishing, whatever you want .. this is the place. We visit LA every other year to visit family but after this trip, we're going to make it an annual event. There was plenty of space for everyone, with everything you need to kick back and relax.

This was the perfect house for our family! We made countless memories in our short time here! The house looks just like the pictures and was C-L-E-A-N!!! I honestly couldn't find any area that could be cleaned any better. I never bathe in a bathtub that isn't my own, if needed I would not have any issues bathing here. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths for 6 people. The master bed was comfortable, the kids said theirs were good also. There were plenty of games and kid items if needed also. We had pizza delivered one night with no issues. The kayaks were so much fun and we fished a lot too. The main attraction was the swing on the big tree, we laughed so hard on this swing and loved every minute of it! The neighbors were nice and didn't mind that my kids walked on their property (with permission) to fish. Linda was very proactive in messaging me, even giving me a weather update on my way in. Would recommend 10/10!

We loved the peacefulness and the tranquillity of the place. It was the perfect place to come home to after a hectic day. My sister being from up north was thrilled to see the local wild life. We will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed our stay very much! We were close to everything we wanted to do in the middle of Lafayette, yet we were tucked in a little secluded area by a river. The kids had a great time being able to run around and explore outside. We had a fire pit and hammock to relax and enjoy. The house itself was cozy and spacious enough for all of our needs.

Deborah’s place was absolutely perfect!! My husband took my 2 toddlers on a “guys night” fishing trip & they had a blast! The house was extremely nice & the quiet location was perfect! They caught fish very easily & Deborah was so helpful & one of the most accommodating & responsive hosts we have ever had at an air bnb. They can’t wait to go back!

For this being right off of Kaliste Saloom, it was still quiet and felt secluded. You could sit by the water and just enjoy the views. The sitting area near the firepit was cozy, and the hosts made sure to have firewood ready in case you needed. The Cabin was the CUTEST thing ever. It was cozy and felt like home. All utensils and cookware were available. The thing i loved the most was the claw foot tub in the bathroom. I will definitely stay here again!

We had a great experience from the start of booking our trip to the moment we left. Booking process was easy, when reaching out to the hosts with questions they were answered quickly. Once booked the interactive guide book was a game changer! Have not seen this at another rental before! The home was spacious, well thought out in designing and made us feel at home. We had a small issue New Year’s Eve afternoon and the hosts were on top of it within the hour. Even on a holiday they were quick to take action. Offered multiple great solutions and overall we were extremely satisfied with their actions. The living room had plenty of seating, multiple windows on every wall, beautiful porch, wild sunset views, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for a well cooked meal. Bathroom shower was a little small if you are a larger person but nothing to complain about. Overall would not hesitate to book again!

A magical retreat we’ll never forget❤️ What an unbelievable stay! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a hidden gem designed with love and care. The kids were all smiles—kayaking, fishing, kicking the soccer ball across the open yard, and playing cornhole under the cozy covered space beneath the cabin. One of the most peaceful moments was watching the wood ducks glide across the water at sunset, gently landing on their little house. Nature truly put on a show for us. Inside, the cabin was a dream—warm, inviting, and full of thoughtful touches. The sound of rain dancing on the tin roof was its own lullaby. The coffee bar was a delight each morning, and soaking in the garden tub with bath bombs felt like a mini spa day. Each room told a story, lovingly decorated with nods to local treasures—like the Tabasco Factory and Jungle Gardens on Avery Island, and Rip Van Winkle Gardens on Jefferson Island. It felt like the spirit of the region was wrapped into every detail

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The 2nd night there a huge storm hit and we lost electricity. Within an hour they had the generator up and running for us! I just hope every Airbnb I ever stay in has such wonderful hosts! The house fit our huge family perfectly. They even had toys for the infant grandbabies so we didn’t have to pack as much. The kitchen was beyond fully stocked for a great vacay. And T he views were AMAZING!!!

I’ve been to many Airbnb stays all over the US and this is my favorite one. I had my first crab trapping experience and love the dock/patio with the fish cleaning table. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The hosts were great and very responsive. Can’t wait to bring my family back here!
