This Airbnb is so cute! As soon as you step in it feels like a beautiful beach home. My husband and I loved our stay, and so did our golden doodle Dolce 💕! The home was spotless and was stocked with anything we needed. Chip also provided us with wonderful recommendations of things to do and local restaurants. I rate it a 10/10 and would recommend to anyone visiting Chincoteague.

Our stay at Sherry's place was perfect! The home was cozy, immaculate, and perfectly located for a peaceful escape. We loved the cozy coastal vibes that made us feel right at home. The decor was thoughtfully curated, with touches that reflected the beauty of Chincoteague’s coastal charm. Sherry was a wonderful host and we will definitely come back in the future!

Pretty Byrd Cottage, a Victorian Bayfront Getaway!

Amazing fairytale-esque cottage. We loved the space and it was perfect to spend a night in. We saw all sorts of wildlife from ducks to otters swimming in the lake around the cottage. The sky was mostly dark allowing a great view of the night sky. Lighting was awesome and the cookware provided was exactly what we needed. There were zero disturbances around the area from other houses, and since we were there on valentines day they gave us wine and a delicious cake showing that they're prepared for special ooccasions. Will absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

Brownsville Cottage

Was exactly as described and in a great location for anyone that enjoys all the ESVA has to offer. Even for folks just passing through, in my opinion, it beats any hotel accommodations for price and amenities that may be available in the area.

Chincoteague Island Creekside Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. We liked that the home was in a quieter area in Chincoteague but within close proximity to restaurants, activities and especially to Assateague. There were only two of us, but the house could have easily accomodated a family. It was well laid out, clean and amply stocked with all the essentials. It was also tastefully furnished and had comfy couches. My only wish was that the house had cable or one of the movie channels, so that in the evening, we might have relaxed with a show before bedtime. One day, we took Captain Dan's boat tour, a recommendation from Kathleen, and it was an exciting and interesting outing. We traveled the back channels in the marshes where we saw lots of ponies and a bald eagle soared overhead in one area. Captain Dan had lots of stories to share which kept us entertained the whole trip. Since it was our anniversary, we splurged on a five course dinner at the Channel Bass Inn and Restaurant. Food was excellent.

We go to Chincoteague regularly but this was the first time we brought our two dogs. The result was awesome. The cottage was a perfect size for us. It was nice, cozy and clean. Both dogs give Christy's place two paws up!

Sandra’s place has a view which we loved. Looking out at the water, it looked like a sheet of glass. We needed peace and quiet, and we certainly enjoyed that to the fullest. Her place was clean, beds were comfortable and bed linens were clean and fresh.

Very good spot for a small family trip to Tangier (I came alone, so it was more than enough.) The house is spotless, and Travis has some extras there for his guests (coffee, water, fishing rods, board games for young kids on a rainy day.) Travis also sent me the phone number for an evening ferry off the island, which was extremely helpful. I had a great stay at Travis' place, and would stay here again. I hope to soon.

We’ve Thought of Everything So You Can Relax!

Staying at Michelle 's house is great. Her communication couldn't be better. The 3 days we stayed there the temperature was near single digits and we had snow. Seeing as how the reason I was there was to waterfowl hunt, that was great. Came back to the house after the first hunt and the water was off due to frozen pipe, previous guest had left the hose connected to the outside spigot. I emailed Michelle and she responded within 5 minutes. Within an hour, she had emailed multiple times, contacted a plumber, he showed up and the problem was resolved. I don't know how you could expect better service than that. In life issues will arise and its all about how you respond. I could not have asked for better service. Thanks again Michelle and I am looking forward to staying there in the future. 10,000 stars !!

Very nice house that’s within walking distance from a few restaurants on the island. Christine was a great host and provided some very nice recommendations on Chincoteague and the surrounding area. Overall it was a great stay!

Sea Glass Cottage - The best relaxation vacation.

Sea Glass Cottage was a delight! The house was very clean, bright and totally charming! Doris has everything you could need for a couple nights or extended stay. I would suggest everyone who stays read her "Welcome" book. She has great suggestions for dining, sightseeing, art galleries, etc. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is VERY large. Onancock is a fun, charming town to visit. We will definitely return and, if Doris will have us, we'll be staying at Sea Glass Cottage. Thanks Doris for a great visit! Cheryl and Jerry

Seaside Fishing Retreat in Peaceful Village

This was a wonderful house. I drove down from NYC with my two kids (ages 6 and 8) to spend a week on the Eastern Shore. My parents drove down and met us at the house and the five of us spent the week visiting the shore (Cape Charles and Kiptopeake), cooking food in the house kitchen and working puzzles on the kitchen table. The house is designed with classic eastern shore lines and the big luffing ceiling fans kept the place cool despite 90+ degree temps outside. We used the AC in the bedrooms at night but that was it. This is a quiet neighborhood, about a 20 minute drive from Onancock and 20 minutes (in the opposite direction) from Cape Charles. My kids enjoyed the yard and the neighbors were affable and quiet. This is an excellent choice for a peaceful, quiet week away from a noisy city.

Place was very clean. Communication was great they checked in every day. Great location to beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops yet in a peaceful quiet area. Some of the bikes were not in usable shape and some of the beach chairs were rusted but they had enough chairs and bikes to accommodate us. We loved all the outdoor seating. Would recommend to family and friends.

Oyster Cottage

This little Cottage was absolutely perfect. Our stay was quick but it was exactly what we needed. Overlooking the water, listening to the birds, and enjoying the absolute peace that is Chincoteague. This is a spot I'll definitely be visiting again!

A beautiful home in a beautiful, relaxing town. Stunning sunsets right out the front door. Many cozy spots around the house the relax. One of the best stocked houses for families (board games, DVDs, blankets, etc.). Would love to come back in the future.
