Have stayed at this place 4 times now and find it a great place to stay in a fantastic location.

We had a fantastic stay in Crackenback at the cottage - the kitchen had everything we needed and lots of space for the whole family. The outlook over the fields was amazing with horses, kangaroos and deer to keep us all entertained. The location was great to explore the surrounding area and we especially enjoyed the Wild Brumby distillery just a few minutes away. The only downside was the proximity of the separate studio which meant we could hear everything from the family of 3 staying there with two very large dogs.

We had the most incredible stay at Peter's place - this is a true 5 star property. So private and peaceful, the property truly has everything you could imagine needing. Want to hang your bathers on the line - of course there are pegs! Want to cook a simple dinner - of course the kitchen has every imaginable item you'd need! Fancy plastic glasses to use in the spa - of course they are there! The beds were so comfortable with every choice of pillow and ceiling fans to keep cool. We had a fantastic stay, and would highly recommend this property. The spa was an absolute highlight, crystal clear water and perfect temperature. We'd love to stay again! What a beautiful, quiet place with expansive views of the lake, a surprise wombat for a neighbour and even cute tadpoles in the fish pond. We loved our stay but sadly we didn't have any time to use the spa (there's a spa!). The coffee machine was a nice touch and got plenty of use. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Well appointed, toasty warm and beautifully styled. Great to be able to bring our dog but surrounds not fenced so not quite as relaxing as it could have been. Delish dinner and granola, thanks Warren. Snow on our last day was magical. Thanks for a memorable stay.

Doug's apartment is very clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped . The kitchen featured unexpected and most welcome extras, including everything we needed for breakfast and even a bowl of fresh fruit The apartment is in a very good location for visitors to the Belconnen area, close to good restaurants and shops. Having the car in the underground garage was a real bonus. Doug was most helpful and readily assisted us so we had great weekend. Thank you Doug Diana

Amazing place! Harry was quick to reply and check in was as easy as the add suggests. The location is super close to Lonsdale street and allows for easy access to beautiful breakfast places in the morning. The bed was super comfy with the addition of electric blankets and a oil heater that just added a extra touch to the crisp Canberra weather of a morning and evening. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cutlery and utensils you could ever need. Absolutely loved the place.

Dianne was a great host, very easy to chat with and accommodating with out needs. Will stay again if ever in the area.

Todd is a wonderful host. The property is comfortable and homely and has everything you could need. The food and drink were a lovely surprise.

This is my 3rd visit to Cockatoo House. We keep coming back as it has all that we need to look after the show dogs, and attend the Royal Show. Great bathroom, all kitchen amenities Off street parking for several cars. Plenty of space outdoor, undercover. Several living areas inside too.

Annie’s cottage is beautiful. It is homely and comfy and welcoming. We had a lovely relaxing stay and had some great walks along the river. Our puppy loved the large fenced in yard.

Louie’s apartment was spotless. Everything you would need was available. It is well located in Kingston area not far from Manuka oval and a very easy walk to all Kingston has to offer. Louie was a responsive host and quickly responded to any questions. Would definitely stay there again.

The place is absolutely wonderful! Our family had an incredibly pleasant stay here. Dave and Diane are both so kind and welcoming. My wife loved the bed, saying it was so comfortable that she fell asleep almost instantly. The kids were thrilled to be here, especially with the kangaroos 🦘 and alpacas 🦙. We’ll definitely return and highly recommend this place to our friends!

The building offers excellent facilities—I made full use of the steam room, sauna, spa, and pool, which were perfect for unwinding after a long day. The gym is also available for those looking to stay active. The location is fantastic, with a short walk to a major shopping complex and only 4-5 minutes to the lake, making it great for both convenience and leisure. What sets this stay apart are the thoughtful extras. The supplied laundry facilities were a welcome convenience, and small appliances like the toaster and coffee maker added a homely touch that isn’t always found in Airbnbs. The Retreat occupies part of a building which includes a few other accommodations, although it has its own access and garage, so feels relatively private. Good quality accommodation in a nice location.

We had a fantastic stay. They are so friendly and helpful with a good sense of humor. Breakfast was served with a beautiful view so that’s a great start of the day. Hopefully we will be back in the area so we can schedule more time @ they’re relaxing property. We definitely recommend staying here ☺️.
