We had a beautifully relaxing and energising couple of days at Tira Ora. The hosts were super lovely, the place was full of rustic charm, animals and birds everywhere. The rooms were comfortable, home-cooked food was delicious, and the place so captivating, we were sorry to have to leave. Great for families, a real natural treat away from it all.

We had a wonderful family Christmas holiday by the sea. The location is amazing being on Queen Charlotte Sound with beautiful views across Waikawa and the sea. We went fishing from the jetty and very much appreciated the use of the paddle boards and kayak and hot tub. Its one of those places where you don't feel you need to 'go anywhere' but to just stay and relax which I guess is what holidays are for. It was hard to leave this holiday home

Such a beautiful spot and peaceful stay before catching the morning ferry. Kitchen is amazing and kayaks are a nice touch.

Loved Ruth's place and really found an appreciation for the art. Awesome location nice and central to town and bars and restaurants close by with beautiful views and all the homely things you could need. Place was also really cosy and homely

We had a lovely stay at Ben’s summer Bach. Waking up each morning to a view of the bay can’t be beat. The location is close enough to access Picton and Blenheim for restaurants and cafes etc while still feeling secluded and tranquil. Each access to trails and a wonderful place to kayak around. The fenced yard was perfect for my pups as well.

David's place is perfect to be away from the noise of the ferry dock but close enough to Picton Towne Centre that you can still see all that it has to offer, museums, shopping, groceries, and head back on a nice day and either watch the boats in the harbor or go for a spin in a kayak as I did! His selection of books also gives insight to NZ history and it's boating characters.

We have had the most amazing stay! The apartment is even better than it looks in the photos! View to die for from the enormous balcony, super comfortable beds, high end appliances & friendly accommodating hosts… we don’t want to leave!

We found the Clifftop Retreat cabin suited our needs perfectly and Bob provided an excellent level of communication, service and local tips. He also ensured the pantry and wines were stocked with high quality local products. The accomodation was very good with comfortable bed, terrific functional kitchen and amazing clifftop views of the surrounding bay and local area. The location was perfect for our walking trips up into the Abel Tasman National Park and also fantastic local restaurants and wineries. Bob also organised a pick up from the airport for us as we arrived late at night. Overall a fantastic stay and would certainly recommend Clifftop Retreats very highly.

A wonderfully unique property in a beautiful location. We had a brilliant stay with our family at this homely and picturesque spot. There were great places to eat and drink within walking distance too. We would love to return one day!

A wonderful home in a beautiful location with stunning views. We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa and being able to walk to amazing restaurants and wine bar. Sally and Wayne were friendly helpful hosts. Highly recommend staying

Beautiful place and location, and Sally and Wayne are very welcoming. A cute little village with great restaurants and ice cream is just a short walk down the beach. I highly recommend this spot for anyone, but especially for people interested in sitting on the deck soaking up the gorgeous scenery !

What a lovely little spot. Less than a 5 minute walk from the beach, with lots of local restaurants within a 5 minute drive. The apartment itself was a good size and was stocked with everything we needed while we settled in. We would have happily stayed longer if we could.

Great house! Plenty of space and you really can't beat the location. The serenity and privacy of Monaco Peninsula and a short drive to Nelson City, the beach, Rabbit Island. Plenty to do! If you're looking to get away from it all, and also have access to plenty of activities and day trips, this is your place.

Difficult to cover in a few words what a great find this was. We stayed for 3 weeks and felt at home straight away. It had everything we needed for a peaceful holiday, visiting family locally but also having our own space. We felt immediately and warmly welcome, but not intruded upon; the facilities were simple but superb, the bed was comfortable and the views were amazing - we could never tire of them.

Fantastic apartment to stay in, spacious & beautifully clean with very comfortable beds. The showers were amazing- great water pressure! The pantry was well-stocked with essentials, including milk left in the fridge for us. Puzzles, books and games provided were also fun and appreciated. We especially enjoyed just walking across the road to the beach without having to use the car. Great cafes and restaurants nearby too. A wonderful home away from home. Would thoroughly recommend- (my only reservation being that a private skateboard ramp is under construction directly in front of this property, so I imagine the noise of that in use will considerably disturb the peace of staying there in the future. )

The house is in a beautiful position. The view from the upstairs bedrooms and verandah is amazing. All the facilities were clean and lots are provided-toasters, sandwich makers, pots, pans etc. Everything we could have wanted. Graeme is very easy to communicate with. Grest stay, can’t wait to go again

We had a great time in Mapua. John and Kim were absolutely lovely and gave us very good recommendations for activities. For example we could use their bikes to go to Rabbit Island. We also had fun using their canoe. The wharf with bars and restaurants is only a short walk from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great long weekend at the house catching up with long time friends. The house privided ample room for us all to have our own space, and was very comfortable for lazy afternoons in the sun. The house is well equipped with all neceasities and is in a great location for local amenities and ofcourse the beach!

Absolutely one of the best spots we’ve been. The house is very clean and nicely appointed to the best possible view. The host is very helpful and really went out of way by helping us prepare the clean sheets and linen at the last minute, which really made our day easy. Thank you so much Brad for hosting us and offering us the best new year!
