Wir waren leider nur kurz da, aber die Unterkunft ist sehr cool! Aussicht top und sehr Nahe am Strand, Restaurants usw.! Vincent war super nett, hilfsbereit und sehr flexibel! Wir würden jederzeit sehr gerne wieder kommen!

Outstanding stay in every possible way. Sue and Joe have created an oasis in the jungle. The lodging itself is beautiful and matched the photos but what sets Southern Drakes Lodge apart is the service. We are a family of 5 and never have we felt so taken care of in all our travels. From the moment we booked to when it was time to depart, Sue and Joe took care of every detail from taxis, laundry, tours (thank you Elsa!), amazing meals (Thai and Ellie prepared breakfast and dinner that were as beautiful as they were delicious). Five days was not enough but we all left with a sense of gratitude that we were able to experience the OSA peninsula and stay in such a special place with amazing hosts.

Alvaro, was a nice host. He was very good informed about tours and let us change the date of the szay becouse we arrived a day earlier than expected. The hostel has a very nice view and the kitchen was clean. I can realy recommend it

Blanca du bist die beste. Vielen Dank für deine Gastfreundschaft. Eine super schöne Umgebung direkt am Strand umgeben vom Dschungel. Ein kleiner Nachteil, man kann nicht mit dem Auto direkt zur Unterkunft Vorfahren, sondern muss noch ca 15 Minuten zu Fuss am Strand entlang laufen. Aber keine Sorge, Blanca unterstützt dich mit Ihrem Quat und fährt das ganze Gepäck und alles was du sonst noch hast in die Unterkunft. Sie kocht sehr sehr gut und organisiert auch Touren für dich. Wir hatten die Tour zur Insel Caño zum Schnorcheln und es war wunderschön ( Schildkröten, Delfine, Mantas, Stachelrochen und viele bunte Fische) Liebe Grüsse Blanca, wir kommen wieder ( vielleicht schon im August 😊) Roger und Pamela

We had a lovely stay at the house!The view and the surrounding forest lets you forget the steep hill. The trees with their berries and flowers atttact parakeets, toucans, motmots, hummingbirds, macaws, tanagers and many more. House is equipped with firm beds, 140cm wide (ok for two 1,80+m tall sons) with mosquito nets (didn't need then), good Wifi, towels and all you need for cooking. You have to bring water or boil+filter the tap water for drinking (filter provided). Aircons work great at night, during most days a breeze around the hill and through the screen windows helps. Dogs barking occasionally was no problem. It is very peacefull and relaxing. House and windows can be locked, we felt very safe for ourselves and our stuff. The next supermarket and beach is not far and at low tide one can easily walk along the beach to reach the main beach/ boats. Melan is a super host! Very friendly, caring and helpful, gave many advice, information and helped booking tours for us. Million tks!

Staying at Pura Vida was a wonderful experience for me and my family. The house is amazing, built and decorated with impeccable taste, comfortable, elegant, modern and with a breathtaking view to the ocean and forest. The hosts are most welcoming and we felt right at home. We were sad we had to leave! But we look forward to coming back soon…

Nous avons réellement apprécié les 3 nuits que nous avons passé. Le bungalow est bien équipé, la chambre comfortable, tout cela en pleine nature. Il suffit de faire quelques pas pour profiter des nombreux oiseaux de la région. A seulement 15mn en voiture des activités principales à Drake bay. Un grand merci aux parents du propriétaire qui habitent à côté et ont été cordiaux et disponibles. Seul point à considérer : il y a beaucoup d'insectes qui rentrent dansla maison le soir mais rien de dangereux. Deux bonus : la machine à laver et une connexon internet très correcte. Tout à fait recommandable pour des gens autonomes, amoureux de la nature.

Absolutely stunning remote and peaceful hideaway. We loved sitting up on the deck listening to birds. The place is super comfortable and Claudia and Eric made sure we had everything we needed and were helpful to organise an excursion with a local tour guide for us. You definitely need a 4x4 and it's good to know it's a hot 25 min walk into town - there's a great selection of places to eat, La Jungla did delivery service which was so appreciated. Highly recommend the local water fall visit We absolutely loved Drakes bay and will be back! Thank you Claudia and Eric 🙏
