je ne sais pas par où commencer tant l'expérience à été belle à vivre ! tous les commentaires positifs lus précédemment sont exacts c'est une maison incroyable dans un environnement si paisible Luis nous a fait découvrir plein de coins merveilleux . Raquel et sa sœur nous ont fait de très bon repas et la maison est super bien entretenue . franchement n'hésitez pas à réserver à finca manglar , vous ne le regretterez pas De bons souvenirs garantis Merci Lia de proposer ce genre d'endroit à louer et un grand merci à Luis et sa famille d'être des personnes si sympathiques et avenantes . plutôt que de louer chez des grosses compagnies avec 40 personnes pour un guide , ici vous avez votre guide Luis disponible rien que pour vous et d'une extrême gentillesse pour info , cascade superbe , bateau dans la mangrove ( caïmans, serpents , singes, toucans , perroquets etc....) et plage privé en bateau ( magnifique plage ) cherchez pas , venez ....

Our stay with Jorge was just perfect. He really made our time in Drake Bay special by being extremely kind and helpful. Horge even organised the tours to Isla de Caño and Corcovado for us and got us some Pipas from his garden, when I felt a bit dizzy one day. His garden is extremely rich in different plants and a lot of animals come by. Jorge himself has a very friendly and cuddly dog and a lovely cat. The room was nice and spacious and felt at home. You can use Jorge's kitchen which has all the equiptment needed and he even offered us some of the food he cooked (which we sadly had to decline because we had to get rid of our own groceries haha). You can hear the sounds of the jungle at night, which really gives you the Costa Rica experience! There's a river very close by which is absolutely stunnung and the beach can be reached within 10-15min by foot. Overall would recommend and definitely come again!

Tout simplement l’endroit et l’expérience la plus enrichissante de notre séjour. La ferme de Yos & Osvaldo est un oasis au beau milieu de la jungle. Ce n’est pas uniquement un séjour dans une ferme costaricienne, c’est un projet ambitieux, une expérience authentique dans un coin reculé du Costa Rica géré par deux personnes exceptionnelles de part leur courage et les nombreux savoir de la vie/survis dans la forêt. Un grand merci à Yos pour son hospitalité et à Osvaldo pour les conversations très intéressantes sur la faune et la flore, le bricolage et la vie en général. Si vous voulez vivre une “aventure” au Costa Rica : vous êtes au bon endroit ici.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Raquel’s place during our trip to Drake Bay. The upstairs sitting area was ideal to see the lapas flying around the surroundings and the pool helped in cooling off. Bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Hope to stay here again.

Blanca du bist die beste. Vielen Dank für deine Gastfreundschaft. Eine super schöne Umgebung direkt am Strand umgeben vom Dschungel. Ein kleiner Nachteil, man kann nicht mit dem Auto direkt zur Unterkunft Vorfahren, sondern muss noch ca 15 Minuten zu Fuss am Strand entlang laufen. Aber keine Sorge, Blanca unterstützt dich mit Ihrem Quat und fährt das ganze Gepäck und alles was du sonst noch hast in die Unterkunft. Sie kocht sehr sehr gut und organisiert auch Touren für dich. Wir hatten die Tour zur Insel Caño zum Schnorcheln und es war wunderschön ( Schildkröten, Delfine, Mantas, Stachelrochen und viele bunte Fische) Liebe Grüsse Blanca, wir kommen wieder ( vielleicht schon im August 😊) Roger und Pamela

Juan hat schnell und höflich auf die Nachrichten reagiert:) die Unterkunft ist als Pärchen sowie als kleine Gruppe/ Familie bestens geeignet. Die Nachbarschaft hat sehr laute Hähne die Krähen aber dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts:)

this is probably the best kept secret on the Osa peninsula. if you are the type of person not looking for opulence but rather peace and tranquility in a more rugged setting than a lodge, this place is for you. there are no walls. therefore, there will be bugs in your house and there will be bats in your house. there are bug nets for the beds though. if you embrace the experience it offers, it's the best place you could go to in Costa Rica.

A little off the beaten track. Bajo Bosque was just what we were looking for: a place away from town but close enough to enjoy. Of course our host was extremely helpful and picked us up from the beach with our luggage and brought us back down when we left. The surroundings are amazing. The wildlife and birds in particular were fabulous. If you like wildlife and birding the could be just what you’re looking for. The walk is a little uphill from Drake Bay but nothing too strenuous. The walk down to the river is a little steeper and so is the uphill return but more than manageable. We enjoyed Nature Cafe for Breakfast and Marea Alta for dinner, both of which we enjoyed. Sebastian arranged a wonderful night tour for me which was excellent, a must do. If we ever return to Drake we’d stay with Sebastian without a doubt. Gracias Sebastian and family
