We recently made the trek to Aitkin area for some family events and wanted a rental that fit all of our family but also had a view. Even though it was still frozen, the lake was a beautiful back drop. The home was clean, comfortable, and well stocked with anything we needed for a comfortable stay. We cooked our own meals and everything worked great. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake! Highly recommend.

Nice quiet area, big deck with awning, comfortable beds and A/C worked well. It was also great to be able to bring the dogs. Loft bedroom perfect for children as you can’t stand up on that level. There are canoes, kayaks, a paddle boat, a swimming platform and dock as well as lounge chairs by the beach. Just watch out for the goose poop!

Our trip was a combination of a few things, biking, bit of work and enjoy some nature with a lake. Karen’s places surpassed our expectations and we will back again. She was also very responsive when we had questions and very flexible with our requests. What else could you wish for?

I had a great stay. I went solo and felt like it was enough room. I loved the back yard and the view of the lake. Our host was very responsive with any questions I had. But I would mention that the window in the bathroom does not have anything from keeping someone to look in. But besides that, I’d definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area.

First class all around. I have stayed here two times for fishing trips. The instructions and rules are very-simple. Doyle very easy to get a hold of for any of our needs.

When we first stumbled on this adorable cottage on Airbnb, it seemed too good to be true. What a find! We were provided with all the information we needed as far as check-in/out details and everything in the Airbnb was labeled so nicely and amazingly organized. Communication was very prompt. Beds were comfortable and living area was super cute and cozy. It was very tidy and well stocked. Tara and Dave were wonderful hosts who were available almost immediately with any communication. The Lakeside view is absolutely the highlight of this adorable little cottage. From the view inside, to sitting out on the deck overlooking Lake Mille Lacs. Picture perfect! Looking forward to staying here again.

One of the most beautiful AirBnBs I’ve stayed in, both in terms of interior and exterior. Amazing view and super cozy interior spaces. Elliot and Jill were amazing hosts, providing all the information you could hope for. I will definitely be coming back in the summer
