We had a wonderful stay at Aleksander’s house! Aleksander welcomed us and showed us around. We stayed in the winter around New Year with snow all around. The view from the living room is magnificent. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 teenage boys and a dog -the house was perfect with 3 bedrooms. There’s a very large and comfy couch in the living room (and an enormous television ;) The hot tub in the garden was great -even with temperatures of -11 degrees the water was very warm (40 degrees). There’s a sauna in the garden with beautiful views (besides the large sauna near the lake on the pictures). You van also take an ice bath! Ål is a quiet little town with little entertainment -there’s a large supermarket and supercharger at 5 minutes drive. It is a half hour drive to Geilo for skiing or a husky ride!

We had a wonderful time, a cozy house with all what you can need, walking distance from a ski station, fantastic! Thank you!

Et pent, rent og ryddig hjem i fin avstand til Vestlia Resort med mange gøye aktiviteter samt sentrum på Geilo. Huset er romslig og svarer til forventninger. Verten er enkel å kommunisere med og svarer raskt.

A simply wonderful place to enjoy the Norwegian upland, with ski trails from the door, super floor heating, warm historic vibe, and a comfy couch. It has two tables that seat six, a kitchen with tools, utensils and servingware to cook for a crowd of 12 (or more) and serve them coffee and wine, and a dishwasher for cleanup. It’s very well-equipped—like visiting an aunt with one of everything—so there was a right-sized ski pole when we broke one, an extra pulk and harness, plastic sleds for a small army of children, extra ski wax and tools, and the mudroom has long benches for booting on/off, and tons of hooks for hanging outerwear. When wood for the fireplace ran low, Bengt responded quickly.and had it delivered. There are tons of books in the Nordic languages as well as English on many topics including the local area and beyond. The market in Ustaoset is a short walk/ski, and Geilo was easy to reach by bus, train, or taxi for stores, dining, or a downhill ski. Love. This. Place.

Fantastisk sted å være med stor familie med kjæledyr, rolig og vakker sted som man bare ønsker å komme tilbake til. Ligger fint, privat ved vannet, skiløyper samt kort vei til alle fasiliteter. Over forventinger vakker, pyntet til Jul. Fantastisk koselig og ekte Julestemning. Hyggelig oh god kommunikasjon med husverten. Takker masse :-).

Another wonderful stay. This was our 2nd visit to this apartment and it didn’t disappoint. Beautiful apartment in the centre of Geilo. Above some shops, although there is absolutely no disturbance whatsoever. It’s so quiet and peaceful, with stunning views from every window. Super warm and cosy. Free parking in a private carpark under the complex, easy to find and really safe. We wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.

Vi lånte leiligheten til Sverre i forbindelse med tur til Langedrag Naturpark. Fint og nytt leilighetskompleks med egen parkeringskjeller. Fin utsikt mot horisonten og alpinbakken. Sverre og medvert svarte raskt og var hjelpsomme med spørsmålene som vi hadde.

Veldig fin leilighet for oss på en familie på 4 og en veldig praktisk beliggenhet. Kort tur til shuttle buss til skitrekk og gang avstand til langrennsløype. En virkelig bonus også var gratis tilgang til basseng og treningsrom ved hotellet rett ved. Supert med app til innlåsing til leiligheten. Dette var greit da våre to ungdommer kunne komme seg inn og ut selv. Kan virkelig anbefales og vi kommer gjerne igjen.

We had a wonderful stay, and I would definitely book the flat again if I were to return to Geilo. The flat managed to house a family of 5 very comfortably, despite it's compact size. We used the sauna every evening, which was a real treat, and helped unwind after a days skiing. The ski shuttle is easily caught at Geilo Hotel. On the return if you get off at Ustedalen you can ski down the field and end up almost opposite the house. The shops, village centre and train are all only 10mins walk away. The kitchen worked well, but would benefit from a new frying pan and maybe some scissors, but I'm being fussy now! We really appreciated the kitchen basics like dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, paper towels, salt and oil. The shower is amazing, with no shortage of hot water. Loads of towels provided as well as shampoo etc. Underfloor heating in the porch means ski boots were dry the following morning. All in all an excellent place to stay, especially if you don't mind cosy family living.

A lovely apartment, really clean and well heated. It was very close to the ski lifts so we didn’t have to walk far! Lene is great and always responded fast if we needed anything. Thank-you for a great stay!

Fräsch och trevlig lägenhet! Välplanerad lägenhet! Välutrustad. Bra kök! Snabb och enkel kommunikation m värden. Vi hade lite otur att det var ont om snö , så liftarna var stängda vid lägenheten så vi fick promenera en kvart till de andra liftarna. Annars var allt toppen!

I had a wonderful stay at Hanne's place with my family. The apartment was in a great location central to the town. Easy to access the mountains (we had ski lessons for our kids). The apartment was really nicely decorated and had excellent amenities in the kitchen and we loved the board games too. The kids loved the downstairs play area. Hanne was very responsive to our messages and flexible with our check in time which was very kind. Would highly recommend this apartment and we hope we can stay here again! Thanks 😊

It is a very nice place with all the amenities listed. Everything is fresh, new and with good design. Perfect place to be for a family who wants to cook own dinners and chill after skiing. It is in central Geilo, but we still used the car to the slopes, which was not a big hassle as parking was free. Apartment is actually not that easy to find, but just follow the excellent descriptions. We would definitely rent this place again for a week or a long weekend.
