As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe—thanks to her guidance, care, and deep knowledge of Egypt. The home is stunning, built on the site of a former queen’s lake, with energetically powerful water to drink and bathe in. It’s a space of creative clarity, inspiration, and transformation. Community events (dance, sound healing, meditation) were deeply moving. The design is magical, the energy palpable, and the location perfect—very close to the main West Bank temples. Tjoni is a true visionary with a huge heart. I’m so grateful to her and wouldn’t hesitate to join her future retreats or recommend this sacred space.

Mohamed is a great host and gave us simple and quick check-in and check-out instructions. He provided options for us to book transportation, meals at his place and activities such as a balloon experience. He is very responsible and nice. His apartment met all our requirements. It is quite big and has a lot of light. We slept very well there. The apartment isn’t located in the city centre but it is close to the majority of the important temples on the west-side (check in Google Maps “Malkata House” as the apartment is located nearby). For us the location wasn’t a bit issue because anyway in Egypt you need to move with taxi (even if you are in the city centre there are many sites not in the city centre). Actually, I have to say the location was quite positive in the way that was quiet and peaceful, far from the noise of the city centre. I would fully recommend this apartment to have a pleasant stay in Luxor. If I come back to Luxor, Mohamed’s apartment will be definitely my option again

As a solo traveler, I was looking for a comfortable and welcoming place, and I couldn’t have asked for a better host. From the moment I arrived, Beduin made sure I had everything I needed, from local tips to assistance with anything I wanted. The space itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, providing the perfect base for my stay. But what truly made this trip special was Beduin’s hospitality. He not only guided me through the local area but also invited me to a traditional Nubian wedding—a once-in-a-lifetime experience! I stayed with my wife and adult daughter in one of Mohamad's flats, and we had a wonderful stay. The rooms are cozy and wonderfully furnished in a way that made us feel right at home. The beds were comfortable, bathroom and kitchen offered everything we needed. The neighborhood is wonderful - you should absolutely make sure to stay on the west bank of Luxor, where the atmosphere is almost rural and the people are very friendly. After two days we were greeting and high-fiving everyone when going on a walk or running along the Nile banks. Mohamad's rooftop is amazing, and enjoying his delicious breakfast overlooking the Nile and the busy other side of the river from the quiet side of Thebes is the best start into the day one could wish for. Mohamad himself is the textbook host: proactive, helpful, social if you want and invisible if you don't. The three-flat house he runs is a paradise in a wonderful neighborhood. Coming back to Luxor we would always stay there again.

We are sad we could only stay one night, it was very peaceful, surrounded by green. The house has everything you may need, there's a garden outside where you can sit and a balcony to see outside. Daniel and his wife were very welcoming, he gave us a lot of tips for the remaining part of the trip. We arranged with him a very good tour to the Luxor and Karnak temples that ended up with a boat across the Nile and a tuktuk that brought us to their house. Recommended for a very peaceful stay.

If you’re looking for a more relaxed version of Luxor then the West Bank and Yasser’s hotel is the place for you. Yasser and his host skills are what made our 10 day stay in Luxor so memorable. He’s happy to arrange all your tours and transportation and he’ll give you budget options too. He’ll make great suggestions of when to see something or maybe to do an activity you weren’t thinking about. We were lucky enough to have ample time to see the main sites of Luxor but also have time for local egyptian life and Yasser invited us to his family home for a meal, to a local festival and many more authentic experiences. We are so grateful for his kindness. The flat is big and spacious. The kitchen needs a few more pieces of equipment to be able to cook a meal but I was able to make small lunches and snacks for the kids in it at least. The rooftop pool, loungers, billiards table and ping pong table were great to stay busy after a long day touring. Food was amazing as well.

Me and my family love this place. we came from an ARBNB in Cairo, and there was a big difference. This place is such a magic place that is very peaceful, very quiet, and so beautiful we definitely come back one day in the future to stay with Mahmoud. I'llreally want to thank him because he helps with a lot of things that I need help with. I feel like I was in my country with my family, very friendly staff. if I could give this place and they personals more than 5 stars, I would. Thanks again, Mr. Mahmoud and staff.

The location is slightly hard to find, but it's quiet. The hygiene is also good and the value for money is very good. The landlord was very nice and communication was smooth. The room was a little cold and the landlord promptly had the housekeeper send an electric heater, although it didn't work well:)

Abeer fue una excelente anfitriona. Realmente nos hizo sentirnos como en casa. En todo momento estuvo a disposición frente a cualquier duda o consulta que necesitamos. El apartamento muy bien ubicado y en zona céntrica cerca de la estación de tren, bus y templo de Luxor. Equipado con aires acondicionado y ventiladores que cuando llegas te hacen sentir muy cómodo del calor externo. Amplio y cómodo. Realmente recomendable!!!

C’est Ashraf qui nous a accueilli, et tout était parfait ! De l’arrivée jusqu’au départ, Ashraf était présent pour nous ! Le restaurant est très bon, avec un petit déjeuner copieux ! La chambre était comme sur les photos. Ashraf est arrangeant, prends le temps de discuter avec nous de tous sujet ! Je recommande +++ 10/10 !!

Excellent séjour à Louxor dans l'appartement de Moustafa, l'accueil a été super, l'appart neuf, la famille qui habite aussi à côté très sympa ! Très bien placé en bord de rive ouest pour aller rapidement au ferry pour la rive est ou aux temples de la rive ouest, la vue est top et l'appart est calme. Je recommande ! ! شكرا قوي يا مصطفى

Extrêmement bien placé, à deux pas du Nil et à proximité de la vallée des rois, ce logement est idéal pour votre visite de Louxor et de sa région ! Proposant également des bons plans et disposant d’un jacuzzi, d’une piscine et d’un rooftop, tout est fait pour faciliter et agrémenter notre séjour ! Je recommande !
