We stayed during our daughter’s graduation from UF and we had an excellent time. We loved the home. It was so peaceful and we loved hanging out in the screened in back porch with beautiful views of the lake.

House was beautiful and we had an amazing stay; very spacious with tons of amenities. Very clean with soft linens/terry. Beds and recliners were super comfy. Location was serene and beautiful. If you are looking for something off the beaten path that will surpass your expectations this is the place. Very pet friendly. Host was friendly and responsive. Would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Carol and Bob's home in Gainesville. The house was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group. Some of us worked remotely during the trip, with plenty of space for work calls while others cooked, ate, and relaxed. Thoughtful details like the wine fridge, a futon stocked with board games, and a cozy patio area with a fire pit added to the experience. The kitchen was a highlight—well-equipped with all the plates, utensils, and small appliances we needed. Outside, the spacious yard and large wooden deck with seating were great for enjoying the fresh air. The location was ideal—close to trails, parks, grocery stores, and restaurants. Carol and Bob were thoughtful hosts, and their home had everything to make our visit comfortable and stress-free. They were quick to communicate through messages and answered all of our questions promptly. Check-out was also a breeze with a thoughtful checklist. Highly recommended and would certainly book again!

We had a great stay here. It is in a quiet neighborhood and easy to get too. We had our kayaks with us so we enjoyed being able to launch them from the fishing dock in the back yard in what was a very scenic waterway which led to Santa Fe Lake. Space was very clean and well stocked with kitchenware and everything you might need.

Good Life River House was exactly how it was described in the listing and overall an amazing experience. Perfect size for our family of 4 and exactly what was needed to escape the city but also be close enough for activities. Pros: *Location (Close to popular springs and Gainesville, peaceful) *Cleanliness *House Amenities (Fire pit, rafts, BBQ, washer/dryer) *Boat Ramp (easy launch site for kayaks or rafts) *Hosts (responsive and nice) Cons: *Boat Ramp (lots of cars/people coming and going and can be noisy) *HWY 41 (noise pollution) Disclaimer: The property warns of poison oak and poison ivy… but do exercise caution if you walk around the backyard or down towards the river as it is present (especially around the hammock hooks) and could spoil your fun.

Wonderful stay. The cottage was exactly as described. Very clean. I felt very safe staying there by myself and would have enjoyed a longer stay where I could sit on the little porch and relax. It is really a feeling of what Florida used to be. Big trees, older homes. Quiet and relaxed studio cottage. The couch and bed were very comfortable. No frills but didn’t need or want them. If I’m back in the area for another show I’ll try and stay here again. There’s a good local pizza place in Micanopy and a good grill at the Orange Lake RV resort.

I was looking for a place to stay on the east side of Gainesville and Shana’s place was perfect. Shana is so welcoming and the accommodations were clean, quiet, and uncomplicated. Much gratitude!

We can’t thank Diana and her family enough for making us feel right at home and for making our stay so pleasant. She was always willing to help in any way possible. We will make certain to stay here again should we find ourselves in the Ocala area next year. The mark of a great Airbnb is that your guests feel sad leaving it behind—that it becomes their home away from home that provides safety and comfort. This Airbnb hits the mark in every way, and then some. We can’t thank the Martins enough for their generosity and kindness.

We actually stayed in Citrus cottage which is located behind Honeysuckle Cottage and managed by Dave. Beds are confortable, entire place is very clean. Location worked perfect for our time in FL which included college visits and the horse shows in Ocala. Dave is available and responsive.

Julia was incredible!! We book last minute to get away from a coming hurricane. She kindly allowed us to check in early and gave us a discounted rate. While she was dealing with her own hurricane preparations she quickly responded to every request and went above and beyond. Her place was beautiful and we can't wait to visit again when the weather is better!!

We loved our stay in the glass house! It’s surrounded by beautiful trees and looks out on the water. There were always birds or wildlife to watch. So peaceful and relaxing! Was perfect for our anniversary trip! Anabel gave great local recommendations and was very quick to respond. We really enjoyed going to rainbow springs and sweetwater wetlands park. But mainly just enjoyed relaxing in this beautiful home!

It was a great place to stay The place was nice but the only thing was they only had one television but other than that it was very nice. Thank you Mr. Dave for commentating us on our stay there. We do appreciate it.

Kids had a great time fishing and kayaking. Beautiful view and very clean home. Repeat customer for a reason.
