We enjoyed our stay, the home is as it's described, loved sitting on the balcony watching toucans and other birds. Loved the local feel of the neighborhood and how safe and friendly it was. Kelly's restaurant down the street is excellent as well, unbeatable value without sacrificing quality.

We absolutely loved our stay in Shiloh’s home! Betto and the others were all so helpful and were great cooks. Having meals ready when we got home from our activities was very convenient especially for our group of 11 adults. The beds were also super comfortable and there were plenty of rooms for us to spread out and have our own space. The home was in a convenient location in the middle of many of our activities and a short 20-30 min drive into the town of La Fortuna

We had a fantastic stay! The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and the river access was a highlight. There were plenty of options to play in the water, and the soothing sound of the river at night made for a peaceful and relaxing experience. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to a comfortable shower. The mattress and pillows were exceptionally cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway!

El lugar acogedor, limpio y perfecto para tiempo en familia o con amigos, es muy tranquilo y tiene suficiente espacio en el estacionamiento. Excelente comunicación con el anfitrión, son muy amables y siempre pendientes.

Our stay at Elisabeth and Michael's home was fantastic! We felt as though we had stepped back in time to the early 1900's. They have done an amazing job restoring the place while retaining the original character. Their home is truly a work of art. While there are a few modern conveniences one might find missing, we had everything we needed, were very comfortable and felt completely at home. Michael's breakfast was wonderful and he was always ready to help in every way possible. Our conversations with our hosts were captivating and one of the hi lights of our time in Costa Rica! It is quite apparent that Elisabeth and Michael love Puntarenas and Costa Rica. That affection is quite contagious and we found ourselves more in love with their country having visited with them in their home for a few days and would definitely stay with them again.

We loved our stay! The property is beautiful and private, a serene hideaway in the rainforest while being close to La Fortuna attractions. We arrived later than expected and had to find the house at night, which was tricky. A helpful tip if you’re in the same situation: look for the driveway immediately after the bus stop on the left. The house was spotless, easily the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It was well-stocked with everything we could need, including a Christmas tree! While the lack of rugs or wall coverings made it a bit echoey and sparse, it stayed wonderfully cool. The outdoor area was a highlight, with a fantastic space and a large table for dining al fresco. The pool was excellent and watching the wildlife was a treat, we even saw the sloth! One thing to note is the few friendly dogs who hung out around the property and marked the porch. While they weren’t aggressive, it’s worth mentioning for future guests. Overall, this was a fantastic place!

We loved this place. Super quiet neighborhood on a dead end road. Place was just as described and the fully stocked kitchen had everything needed. I already told David the host I was giving him 5 stars just because there were ice cube trays and they were full and frozen.... the fridge was already plugged in (who likes warm wine). Breezy in the evening...lots of birds and we could hear the howling monkeys in the distance.... covered parking... a clean, quiet and friendly town with an unique history.

This is an amazing property, we were close to everything but still felt secluded. The natural spring pool was really cool. Views id the volcano were spectacular. There was a couple of howler monkeys that came to visit nearby trees. Lots of night time nature sounds so if your a sensitive sleeper may want some ear plugs but we loved it! The 1km rock road should be accessible to most vehicles just go slow. Google maps was able to get us there without difficulty. Our only regret is we didn't spend more time there!

The view over the lake arenal is just phenomenal! The house has a huge garden with some fruits, herbs & vegetables wich we were allowed to eat. We can for sure recommend.

Love staying at Avalon and loved this place! Very cute, clean, and even had some coffee for me! The host responded almost immediately when I had a question. I would definitely stay here again!

One of the best place to stay if you go to Costa Rica by far. Is next to an awesome pound, you have convenience store just outside, multiple restaurants. Safety is a top in the place. If you are with a family that is a place to keep safe.

We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as described. It was extremely peaceful and enjoyable. Wish we had more time in La Fortuna. We would’ve definitely stayed there another night. Waking up to the sounds of the water and the birds singing was truly special. We even enjoyed have the cattle next door as neighbors. Even the local restaurant on the corner was really good. We love Costa Rica.

Greetings, I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. We loved the views of the lake and mountains. The view from the living room is a constant reminder of the incredible natural beauty of Arenal. We enjoyed how the morning light fills the house, especially the main bedroom. We cooked almost every day. Great stove and a well equipped kitchen was a plus and saved us a lot of money. The house is cozy with great views. The grounds are beautiful and enhance the surrounding natural beauty. We really enjoyed the quiet comfort of the house and the environment you have created. Es una casa grande, súper equipada, muy limpia y cómoda. El área de piscina y bbq es hermosa. Muy felices de habernos alojado, volveríamos sin pensarlo.

We loved it so much! It was beautiful, very peaceful, and full of tranquility. The perfect place to relax. It's close to downtown Ciudad Quesada, restaurants, supermarkets — close to everything. The host was always attentive and willing to help us with anything we needed. The best Airbnb we’ve stayed at so far. We will definitely be coming back!

La fortuna nunca decepciona y en esta ocasión en el hospedaje de Adrian no fue la excepción, su casa es simplemente hermosa, acogedora y con una vista increíble, cuenta con lo necesario para hacer de la estadía muy placentera. El anfitrión 10/10, con su amabilidad, claridad y manera oportuna de brindar información hizo de nuestra primer experiencia en un airbnb muy agradable, Adrián muchas gracias.

We came pretty late, the last 50 meters is necessary drive very slowly, but the place itself simply famous. No neighbours, beautiful terraces, tiny but wery comfy. It is such an special place, really quite, with special vibe. No matter how far it seems to be from the village.

This was property matched the description and the pictures well. El Castillo is a more peaceful area than La Fortuna and close enough to feel like you can go back and forth without any issue. The view from the porch hot tub is stunning and makes up for the rustic amenities within the cabin. There was daily construction starting at 6:00am on the house next-door, however, so I probably would not have chosen this property if I had known that before-hand.

Nos encantó nuestra estadía en este lugar. Mi familia y yo disfrutamos muchísimo de los días que pasamos aquí. El espacio es cómodo y acogedor, y la piscina fue un gran plus para todos. Además, el billar (pool) fue una excelente adición para la diversión en familia. ¡Sin duda, una experiencia increíble y nos encantaría volver!

Nous avons bien aimé notre passage à la maison Katira. La maison est sobre et très grande et offre un excellent lieu pour se déposer entre les diverses activités proposées dans la région. À 15 minutes de l'entrée du parc Tenorio et Roi Celeste. La galerie extérieure donne sur une petite ferme et la nature environnante. Des singes sont venus dans les arbres sur le terrain tout près de la maison ! Un grand merci!

Absolutely loved our stay! The property is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds and breathtaking views of the volcano. Very private - no one else nearby. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the pool and jacuzzi—it was the perfect place to relax. The location is great too, just a quick and easy 15-minute drive into downtown. Kenneth was an exceptional host—super responsive and thoughtful, even leaving fresh coconuts in the fridge for us. We would definitely stay here again!
