Great location on the canal! The house had a sauna, jacuzzi, pool, kayaks and a paddle board. All the toys for an active stay unfortunately, it was too cold during our stay to take advantage of the water toys. We however enjoyed the fire pit and the jacuzzi. We also had a movie night on the comfortable sectional and huge TV in the family room.

Once you open the door, you are transplanted into a space where a breath is taken and a breath is held. If you are seeking a calmness, this home is the one. Pride of ownership is evident in the furnishings, personal touches and in the whole home itself. Didn’t want our stay to end.

A wonderful home in a quite par of town..

My family (parents, grandparents, and kids) stayed at this great waterfront home in March 2025. My kids loved the heated pool, hot tub, and kayak! We liked the well appointed kitchen and having lots of space to spread out across the five bedrooms. The only downside is that’s it’s a bit on the well used side and could use touch-ups here and there and one bedroom is a loft so we had to be aware of the noise level downstairs. That didn’t stop us from having a great time and using this as our jumping off point to the city (15-30 min depending on traffic) or North Bay for hiking, oysters, and wine.

This was the perfect place for us to visit with our three adult children, since there was plenty of space for everyone. It’s a fairly central location in Oakland with many walkable areas between 15 and 30 minutes away. Not really in any specific neighborhood but close to many. Large attractive, outdoor space and plenty of privacy. Alli was a great host and extremely responsive when an issue came up.

Great place. The location was super clean, had all amenities, quiet, serine, secure, < 20 minutes to SFO, with wonderful ocean views and a nice hiking trail entrance close to the property. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac with few houses nearby. Our Pugs were happy with no neighborhood distractions. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Can't wait to go back, even though we live in the same town! We had to find a place quickly because we had some damage at our home and Laurie and Bradley were so accommodating and flexible. The property is gorgeous! And I can't say enough about the showers. Every piece of furniture was so comfortable, including the beds (and I am very picky when it comes to beds). The view was spectacular. Besides the incredible amenities, Laurie and Bradley were such incredible hosts and were very easy to reach and super responsive to the many requests we had to extend our stay. I highly recommend their house.

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Lior’s place. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The communication with Lior’s was smooth and prompt. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a thorough tour of the property. The pool was amazing it was heated all the days of our stay regardless of the weather it was great going in , space was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thank you!

Paradise in the Forest. All you need for a relaxing stay in Marin County. Walkable to the town of Larkspur. Wonderful value as well.

Athena’s home is fantastic. My wife and I along with two other couples took a trip for our ten year anniversary. House was pristine, accommodations were fantastic. Perfect weather for the pool and spa. Was just far away from the downtown commotion but still just a quick uber ride away. We highly recommend this space. You will not be disappointed

We needed a place to stay close by our home while movers were packing up. Michael & Joanie’s home provided a great place to rest and recuperate. This is their family home (which was accurately described in the listing) and they ensured it was comfortable, clean, & welcoming. The backyard was amazing & the kids loved the trampoline. Joanie was so kind to leave a box of legos for the kids to play with. Very thoughtful & gracious hosts! Would recommend their space for families. Thank you!
