Kate's house was a perfect place for our family to stay. We have family that lives close by so the house was a good choice. Plenty of space for 7 of us. We would definitely stay here again if we all travel together.

Host was very responsive even though out of country during our visit over Thanksgiving. Well stocked kitchen which we used extensively in preparing Thanksgiving meal. Nice outdoor courtyard with lovely trees. All three bedrooms very ample.

We had a really great stay! The house and backyard are both wonderful and feel private. We loved the redwoods and creek running behind the backyard

Carrie’s place is an excellent base to explore the Bay Area. Her home is very clean and had plenty of room for my wife and I as well as our 3 teenage girls. The home is well stocked with everything you would need. Carrie provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area.

This was my second stay and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. Host communication is very responsive, AirBnb is spotless with lots of thoughtful touches (love the snack basket!) and it's a friendly neighborhood. Would 100% recommend and plan to stay again during my next visit to Oakland!

We enjoyed our stay in an area we don’t often stay at yet is near so many of our favorite restaurants! We came in the winter and the heater worked well, bathroom was accessible and had hand grips and a removable shower chair in the closet for those who may need it which is a great features as the Bay has an active and large disability community. It was raining for our stay so only checked out the deck but the backyard is large, plush, and a beautiful reminder of the diverse trees and plants that surround the area. There was ample parking near the home. Lubia was very responsive and helpful.

The house was very charming and in a great location. My kids had fun with the toys and books that were available. The private backyard was lovely. Pam and Albie were wonderful hosts.

Apartment was amazing-something I will love to live in one day. Everything was very “ tech-y” as u should say. My fiancé and I had a wonderful night stay.

Staying at Richard's place in Alameda was great; with a big comfy bed, lots of yummy Quaker oatmeal, and ceilings low enough to make me (5") feel tall, I found it to be super cosy and the perfect spot for chill hang-outs with old friends and kicking back in the lazyboy chair watching tv all by my little self. When there was a problem with the electric lock Richard came over and fixed it immediately. He was charming and sweet and I'd love to stay in his little place again.

Awesome house. Feels like an actual home. Great location. And even more awesome was our host Mackenzie. Shes great!

A very clean and comfortable location for easy access to Oakland Arena. Neighborhood is a bit load at times with barking dogs, but nothing a bit of sound can't dampen. La Tonya was very accommodating for an early check in so I could get a nap in before my concert. Felt secure and comfortable during my stay.

We had a great time! We’re natives returning for a work visit, and this is a great location. Aubrey gave detailed instructions so check in was a breeze. The place was lovely and very clean. We had everything we needed for a week stay and even cooked regularly. I would definitely recommend!

Danna is a lovely host! She made delicious breakfast and also hosted house dinners, where she made a simple but delicious 3-course meal! The room is beautiful and has a stunning view. I also love the neighborhood. I had a great time and hope to be back soon!

Pamela and Richard went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and acquainted with the space. They met us for check in and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed many a wonderful conversation with them throughout our stay over breakfast which they thoughtfully set out each morning. Their house was stunning and walking distance from Piedmont and College Ave which made our stay very fun and easygoing. There were so many personal touches along the way, including homemade jam and honey with the breakfast. We would be honored to be able to stay again sometime.

I completely enjoyed my stay and would recommend their facilities to others. I stayed in the Hideaway Room, which was exactly how it looked in the AirBnB photos - and as well-appointed and comfortable as represented. Dan & Traci's directions/instructions on how to get in and use the facilities were quite clear (as were their various signs and instructions throughout the guest areas) and they were very responsive (often within a few minutes) when I had questions. Their property is in a pleasant residential area of South Berkeley that's just a short walk from several main streets with shops, restaurants, etc. I'd happily return if the opportunity arises.

I have never stayed in and Airbnb in a host’s home before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised. I arrived late (after 10pm) and checking in was so easy. The entrance was well lit, and my room was just to the left of the entry way and felt very private. There were snacks, drinks etc awaiting on my arrival. I had a very nice and comfortable stay. The coffee was excellent (Peets) and the home baked goods a nice addition. The location is excellent: a very pleasant walk to lots of restaurants, shops and amenities.

It was nice staying at Richatd's house. He was a wonderful host that treat you with upmost respect. I would definitely stay again. Thank you, Richard for everything.

Perfect Place to Stay! Came to town for a family reunion and my cousin’s 100th birthday. After participating in this event, I was exhausted beyond measure. Dan and Traci’s establishment was perfect. I felt welcomed and supported throughout my stay. This place checked all the boxes, and much more. I can’t wait to return.
