Our family of four (two young kids) had a wonderful stay at Paul and Jenn’s! The cottage is spacious and well equipped and the location was amazing. So many beautiful parks to roam around just steps away and very close to Telegraph restaurants! Most of all Paul and Jenn were super helpful and responsive and we loved meeting them and their children! Will definitely look to book again if we’re in the area! Y

Amanda’s place and garden were gorgeous in the early springtime and it was the perfect place to get ready for my wedding and take our first look pictures outside. Amanda was super quick to respond and was very accommodating to my last-minute request.

This beautiful Oakland Oasis was better than I imagined it would be! This place exceeded my expectations! Coming through the gate the first night, to a path of twinkling lights leading us to our adorable cabin took my breath away! It was the perfect location for peace and quiet right in the middle of Oakland. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more time on the property. We flew in from out of state to visit friends and spent a lot of time out and about. I definitely want to come back to spend more time hanging out in the backyard with the goats and chickens. My 13-year-old loved the backyard, the trampoline and the animals. The location was very walkable and within several blocks of many restaurants and shops. We rented a car and street parking was easily accessible. Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park was only an 8 minute drive away and we spent most mornings walking through the mountains enjoying the beautiful trees and views of San Francisco. Highly recommend this listing!

Bobs place was more than we expected. We’ve never stayed in a place that has all the amenities and items that often get overlooked by other AirBnBs like oil, salt and pepper, and extra food and drinks. More than enough towels and super clean and organized. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Very comfortable stay and beautiful, safe neighborhood!

What a wonderful find! One could not ask for a more beautiful, quiet location, but still close to good food, shopping and hiking. The apartment is appointed with lovely fabrics designed by the owners and art from their travels. Everything is spotless, the bed is amazing and the hosts offer tea, coffee and the basics for breakfast. My friend and I both loved it.

Felt like it was just lke my home accept they have a hot tub that I used almost every night during my stay also had a beautiful garden. Is very quiet and relaxing.

This place was amazing, recently moving from another stay we had to rent for 2 weeks while we waited for our things. This place had everything we could have needed. If you have dogs Ela’s place will be perfect for you, the backyard is fenced and my dogs loved it. The location is also great as there are a lot of stores, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

Barak greeted me upon arrival and gave me a few pointers about using the lights and heat. The guesthouse is just as described. I appreciated all of the thought that went into the design of the space (lighting & heated bathroom floor) and all of the amenities provided, including filtered water. Barak communicated promptly and allowed me to have a later check out time. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk to College Ave. restaurants and shops. I highly recommend a stay here!

Brian and Danielle were fantastic hosts. So warm, accommodating, fun and friendly! The place was exactly what I needed - near work, a cozy place to sleep and store my stuff while waiting to move into my apartment. I only used the place to sleep as I was mostly at work/hanging out w/ friends - and this place is perfect for that! I'm a light sleeper and slept very well here! I'm also always worried about being cold, but this place is very well insulated and can hold heat very well. Highly recommend as a place to crash, and would def stay again here if needed! thanks Brian & Danielle!

Such a peaceful place with the most incredible views. The neighborhood is so lovely and very quiet. Highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back when we are visit the Bay Area .

After all the glowing reviews already posted, there is not much to add. The space was so clean and inviting, and Ena went above, and beyond to accommodate my allergies. My husband appreciated the chocolates that greeted us when we arrived. Because it was listed as a cottage, we were expecting a much smaller place. The home has a spacious, very comfortable living room, a full kitchen with kitchen table that seats four, a full-size bedroom, and well-appointed bathroom. I hope to spend more than a week there on my next visit.

What a wonderful stay! We were visiting from the East Coast and had fond nostalgia of living in this neighborhood many years ago. Staying at this cozy, well appointed guesthouse made reliving those memories possible. Beth is such a lovely & responsive host: she made us feel right at home from an easy check-in to our very last day. The location is perfect! Easy walk to BART, Market Hall, and great restaurants. Thank you Beth (loved the coffee and popcorn too … all the right touches!)

This place was spotless, elegant, and very efficiently designed. Everything is brand new, including the kitchen with its glass cooktop (and cover) and bathroom (with its bidet). It was very easy getting in and there's off street parking. We appreciated the coffee and tea supplies that Melanie provided, and the bed was very comfortable. There was just enough space for the two of us and we plan to come back for longer stays, since our son lives a few blocks away. Thank you, Melanie!

This guest cottage was everything i hoped for! Stephen was a great host and I very much enjoyed my stay. Great location with many restaurants options that are walkable. Beautiful neighborhood with pretty sights. Highly recommend!

Camille's cottage is such a lovely sanctuary! Tucked away in a stunning garden, the space has everything you need to truly relax and retreat. I especially loved rambling around the Berkeley neighborhood hills and taking in the Spring blossoms. Camille is incredibly thoughtful and responsive, getting back to me within an hour whenever I had a question. I will definitely return on my next stay to the East Bay!

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful garden, responsive host, ample street parking. Definitely worth the price. Plus there's a hot tub you can use after the end of a long day or before the start of one like how we used. MINUTES away from bars, restaurants, and shopping in Oakland. Great location. I loved my stay at Nanci’s cottage. I was in town for the birth of my grandchild and Nanci’s place was perfect for my needs: quiet, private, very comfortable bed and a beautiful, highly walkable neighborhood. Nanci was friendly and easy to communicate with and I felt very comfortable staying here. I am a big walker and I loved that I could walk everywhere in this beautiful neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again!

Rockridge Casita is a lovely place to stay, centered just between Rockridge and Temescal, an easy walk to both. The casita is beautifully designed, well appointed with everything one needs for a good stay and a range of dining choices within walking distance. Perhaps my favorite is the delicious scent of the garden's jasmine and the orange and lemon trees just outside the door. Many great hikes a short drive away and lots to explore beyond.

The Retreat was a very nice tiny home, perfect for me and my dog. The yard is enclosed with a beautiful garden and areas to sit and enjoy the smells. The neighborhood is quiet and a great place to walk up in the Oakland Hills. The views of the Bay Area are spectacular. I would definitely recommend it.

Our third stay at this wonderful studio. The location is terrific and the space is just right for two. We travel a lot and this place is a real home away from home for us.

This two-story Airbnb is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The highlight is the patio overlooking the bay—ideal for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine with breathtaking views. Bonnie, the host, was fantastic—always responsive and eager to ensure a great stay. The home is well-designed, with a cozy upstairs bedroom, a convenient half bath on the main floor, and a well-equipped kitchen. Off-street parking in the carport is a huge plus, and UC Berkeley is just a 10-minute walk down the hill. A peaceful, stylish retreat with an exceptional host.
