This rustic beauty is a hidden gem nestled in the wilderness, offering incredible views of the mountains and free bird concerts at dusk and at dawn. If you want a relaxing and peaceful getaway with your loved ones this place is an excellent option. And, you won’t need to worry about food and safety, as Mehdi and the caretakers will always be there to help you. Of course, we were told that we could be left completely to ourselves if we wished that, so you have that option as well. This plan also has the advantage of a private viewpoint from a steep precipice, which may be rare, especially for a place that’s affordable. Access to this place itself is a bit of adventure, as it involves 2 kms of off-roading. Although, access to the areas within the premises are steep, so older people have to watch out. Also, the tap water is a bit muddy if you care about it. Overall though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and it’s pity that we couldn’t plan to stay longer. Kudos to Mehdi and his team!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pinewood Madurai, and it was a delightful experience. The property is nestled in a serene location, surrounded by nature, which provided a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The villa itself was cozy and well-maintained, with a beautiful garden that added to the charm.

The place was really clean, well maintained and felt like home. The basic essentials and utensils were already in the house so it was easy for us to manage around. The host was friendly and responded immediately whenever needed and also recommended places. Thank you Hezekiah for the experience.

Hidden gem in the heart of Madurai city ! We had a pleasant stay from Feb 21 - 23. Everything is just as shown in the pictures. The place is well maintained, just a little heads up is that this place is located inside the premises of a hospital but that wouldn’t stop us from rating this place 5/5 for their excellent service and prompt responses every time we reach out to the front desk.

Nuestra estadía en casa de Vijay fue realmente buena y la relación calidad precio es imbatible, nuestro hijo de cinco años cuando entró al baño volvió gritando "este baño no está limpio, está impecable!" el resto del lugar también está súper limpio, la habitación es muy agradable al igual que la cocina, el salón y el comedor, hasta hay lavadora. El lugar es super tranquilo y para nuestro tipo de viaje, (familia con niños) estaba genial el poder ir a un lugar sin ruido a descansar después del ajetreo de la ciudad, está a unos 15 minutos del centro de Madurai y Vijay nos ayudó a conseguir autorickshaws a precios razonables para poder movilizarnos. Tanto Vijay como su Madre son super hospitalarios y aprovechamos para agradecerles todas las atenciones, sobre todo su madre estaba muy pendiente de que los niños estuviesen bien. Volveríamos sin duda.

Our stay at The Blessings Villa homestay gave us a warm, home-like vibe. All the three bedrooms were equipped with air conditioning and clean bathrooms. The property is surrounded by various restaurants, the one which we visited the most was Gowri Parvathi Bhavan. This restaurant is "An absolute gem!". The service was impeccable, and every dish was a masterpiece.

Sam was a responsive host. His aunty was very kind and sweet. The complimentary breakfast was amazing. We had an amazing stay at Sam's place. Will definitely visit again.

This place is good for a small family get together. Clean and neat. There is a caretaker who also doubles up as a cook. Only negative is that it is slightly remote (though very close to the Madurai - Kanyakumari highway) but that is well compensated by other facilities. We stayed as a family were very comfortable and felt at home. Sheeba was a fantastic host and she guided us throughout. Thank you.

The place was , as shown in pictures. It is a one bedroom service apartment with Lavish interiors and well designed on inside. Host, Mr Agnimitra is respectful and helpful. His manager Mr Abhishek is very courteous, gives prompt response and takes personal care to address any issues. We are grateful to both for arranging a wonderful Darshan in Garbha Greha at Meenakshi Temple. Market is not very nearby but caretaker services were made available to procure groceries and vegetables. Power outage was there for almost full day affecting kitchen since induction will not work on inverter. Meenakshi temple is 9 km away. Dedicated parking is available on the ground floor of property. It is suggested to provide toiletries for better experience particularly when market is far. Also would be good to have pressure cooker for Indian style cooking. Overall very good experience and recommended .
