Hank’s place was just as described, easy to find with his directions and easy check-in. The apartment was very clean and homey. Lots of games, books and tv provided. As described, no kitchen, but still had an old fashion mini fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker as well as basic dishes and utensils. Being a few miles outside of downtown it had the perfect secluded feeling without being secluded. We were able to meet Hank in person, super friendly and accommodating with answering any questions we had. Would highly recommend.

The best Air BnB experience we've ever had! Beautiful location, and the hosts were absolutely amazing! This place lived up to the original vibe that Air BnB was created to be! it's like going to a friend's house. The internet was not working in Sitka prior to our arrival and the hosts were great at keeping us informed of the situation. Having the car available was great for getting to see Sitka and get around for groceries. Very comfortable and cozy stay 💜 Highly recommend and hope to be lucky to stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at Suzi’s place! The home was spotless, filled with great amenities, and the radiant floor heating made it especially cozy on those chilly winter nights. Suzi was incredibly thoughtful host. She suggested a different entrance due to the heavy snow, which was so helpful. When we left early in the morning, we were pleasantly surprised to find the path to our car already shoveled. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Mike and Kathy were excellent hosts and their place is amazing. I would definitely do it again if I return to the area.

We were in Juneau for a meditation retreat. Deenie's place is lovely, the view is beautiful, and Deenie was responsive and very accommodating. We will definitely book to stay at Deenie's again.

Beautiful place with amazing views and plenty of beds for larger parties

We loved this stay! The suite is spacious and Sarah left many essentials for our use. I worked from the suite one morning and had absolutely no issues with upstairs noise while sleeping, working, or hanging out in the suite. We enjoyed reading through the local recommendations that Sarah put together. This is a very well done Airbnb!

This place was super cute and cozy! I needed a chill quiet weekend out of Anchorage and so happy I decided to stay here. The place was VERY clean! The bathroom was huge and I loved the shower. The bed was so super comfy!! The kitchenette was perfect for coffee and bagels in the morning and wine and apps at night. The hot tub was one of the main reasons I chose to stay here and it was very clean and relaxing!! The view here is beautiful in the winter—can only imagine how pretty the lake is in the summer time.

We had such a nice stay, very comfortable space, beautiful views, cozy beds and breakfast options! The hot tub was a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. We will definitely return for our next trip to Eagle River. Thank you!

I recommend this downstairs unit if you are looking for something clean, quiet and peaceful. It is just a short drive to Soldotna. I appreciated the small things- liquid (not powder) creamer, a few snacks, oatmeal, local coffee and a flexible check-out time. It was a short but sweet stay.

It was a super comfortable stay. The place was very clean and had all the supplies we needed. I liked the addition of the hot tub which we enjoyed under the stars. The host was very communicative. I liked her booklet of local recommendations.

Bob and Donna were amazing hosts. The most welcoming hosts we have ever seen. Bob went out of his way to help us to show Flat Top at midnight. Both helped us to understand things around Alaska for first time visitors. Best recommendations for places and restaurants as per your food choices. Best couple and host ever met. Thank You Both. My husband and I went to Anchorage for a little getaway and absolutely loved this magical place. The hot tub is amazing and it felt so private and peaceful. We loved it so much we right away booked this place again for next year at this time. Highly recommended

I was in Anchorage for a funeral and my accommodations fell through, last minute. Because I had stayed at Julie and Doug’s twice before, I reached out and they were quick to respond and had it available for me within the hour. It was a great choice because I already knew the place was allergy free and safe. Plus, it is very comfortable and the location is great when staying in Anchorage.

Needed a place to stay for a few hours after arriving in Anchorage before taking a red eye flight down to the Lower 48. Chad communicated all the check-in instructions to us early, messaged us about transportation options to and from the airport, and was an all-around great host. The apartment was clean and cozy, perfect for our quick stop but would've been great for a longer stay too. I especially appreciated that the stairs up to the apartment were clear of ice. Great stay and would definitely recommend!

This is a really nice spot to stay away tucked into the woods and yet close enough to drive to spots in Anchorage. Brad was flexible and let me pay for a half day to check in at 5am which was really nice. The bed is comfy and shower is hot. Loved having a washer drier with detergent available to use. The guest suite is located under their main home and if anyone is waking upstairs you WILL hear them. I wouldn’t recommend this spot if you plan to stay inside majority of the trip. Brad does have quiet hours where you won’t hear the footsteps, but outside of that it sounds like a family of 5-7 above you

The moment I walked in, I knew this cozy suite was going to be a wonderful home away from home. Having a printer was awesome. Thanks. This was my first Airbnb experience and I can honestly say, my hotel days are going to be few and far between. Love, love this place. Boo hoo, I didn’t get to see the Northern Lights.

It was perfect location. Our grandchildren were just down the street a few blocks. Very nice and comfortable and very clean. Will stay there again on our next visit to Anchorage.

Perfect space! Clean, comfortable bed, great tub, and nice amenities and touches throughout. This was my second time staying here and I hope to stay again the next time I pass through Anchorage.
