Our family of 13 had an amazing Christmas/ new years getaway. Cynthias home is beautiful and was accurately described on the site . There was enough room for all of us to sleep comfortably and enough sitting areas that we were not crowded in anyway. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable . The kitchen was stocked with everything we could’ve ever required plus more, I think it was our favourite space to hang out in overlooking the water . The location was picturesque and had the weather cooperated would’ve had ample outdoor activities. We enjoyed watching football , lounging by the fire and playing pool . Cynthia was very helpful and prompt with every question that I had and made us feel welcome . Thank you for a memorable family new years .

Highly recommend this place. It was beautifully decorated and lots of attention to detail and a wonderful welcome basket. We have family in Sudbury so we plan on staying here many more times in the future.

This was our second stay at John's place and we'll be coming back again next year. John is always friendly and helpful and the house is a perfect size for two families. It's a beautiful location with a nice deck and lots of space for kids to play. Thanks again!

Emily was a fantastic owner who immediately dealt with any questions I had. She became a friend, and I would 💯 recommend her apt. for you to stay in. Thanks Emily for all your help and for keeping me informed when your baby was born. Fantastic story about driving through ice storm with trees falling all around you to get a healthy baby boy. People should read story. Belongs in a book.

The place offered a fantastic view from home, feeling serene and peaceful, as if we were nestled in the middle of a forest. The high ceiling made the space feel open and airy, and I especially loved the large window. Such a beautiful house. It was a great experience, and everyone loved the place. The only downside was the weak water pressure in the washroom. (shower) We’ll definitely be returning!

Fantastic place to stay. Don’t worry about the cold nights in the winter as the wood stove will make the cottage toasty warm with lots of hard wood in the shed. Large parking area for trucks and trailers. Place is newly renovated inside and out. Quite location in the winter. Will be going back for sure !

My family and I stayed at this cottage for a week get away from the city. We enjoyed the small lake and the bigger surrounding lakes in the area. We had an overall good stay. Very quiet and private place. Host was very friendly and responded quickly with answers to questions.

Love the place. Beautiful, clean, calm and comfy. I went there eith my wife, toddler, and another family of 4, and a friend. Everyone enjoyed this cottage stay. For most of us, this is our first time staying at a cottage. We're lucky our first was such a great one. Susan and Peter were such great hosts. He even offered us to get in the boat showed us around islands and river. We went all the way to Recollet Falls. We were also lucky enough to see up close the fox that visits the cottage almost morning. The boat ride and the fox were the best moments of the whole stay for sure. Recommended 100%
