Wow, what a beautiful place! The location is perfect and very quiet. Everything was very clean and even items that aren’t used frequently were covered with plastic to keep them clean. We were greeted with snacks, bottled water, clear instructions contained in a manual and a warm, cozy home. I booked my return visit while still there. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! Can’t wait to go back.

The house is beautiful, both Simon and Dardis are really caring and super nice. We had a great time staying at Hickory Hill.

Our stay was amazing. Peaceful and secluded just like we were hoping for as a getaway from the city for us and our pup! Christine was friendly and ready to help if we needed. Our dog loved splashing in the river and the secluded nature of our cabin. Kayaking was a lot of fun and Christine had good recommendations for walking trails and food in the area. We went during her quiet season so it was pretty much just us and it was exactly what we were looking for, can’t wait to return next year.

This is our second visit to the property as it is located near elderly relatives we travel to visit. It has a wonderful character yet all your modern "needs" are met. We especially enjoy that the bedrooms are on the second floor so those who want to stay up late aren't disturbing the early-to-bed folks. We had a major snowstorm during our stay and the driveway was cleared and the steps salted to assure our safety.

Thank you so much for hosting us. Our family truly appreciated the easy access and the prompt responses to any questions we had. We had a wonderful time staying at the house and really enjoyed using the sauna. Everything was so clean, which made our experience even more enjoyable. If you are looking for a PRIVATE & QUIET stay then look no further. The charm here is the hosts response time,unit cleanliness & location. My stay was 15 nights & I was able to go for a run everyday in the lovely kid friendly neighborhood. There is a nearby laundromat& you can enjoy the cafe/bakery next door as you wait. I spent a lot of time in the unit to study & quiet is an understatement. You would occasionally hear the rumble of a car down the street at night but that’s it. The unit is just as photographed &they have equipped it with thoughtful amenities & a fully stocked kitchen even down to a rice cooker. Only kitchen downside was the lack of a traditional stove/oven but everything is as advertised and works. There is private parking and a private seating area outside the unit and gives you an outdoor space on sunny days . Sleep is cozy would just recc black out curtains. The Hosts were the real stars as they were just the nicest people and very responsive. 5 stars all round!

This place is a GEM!!! Our family stayed here for a long Thanksgiving weekend and had the time of our lives! The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you need if you’re cooking like us, plus lots of games, and a hot tub! There was a snow storm coming during our stay and the hosts were really proactive in reminding us to pack warm and be prepared. I would 100% stay again! It’s super cozy and well thought out and surrounded by beautiful landscape.

Andi's place was exactly what we needed for our mini retreat. The space was super clean. We loved the wood burning fire place and the open floor plan. This space is also kid friendly! Would definitely recommend for families.
