We loved staying at The Snug. It was so cute, clean and comfortable. We loved sitting on the little patio in the afternoon with our books. The place was immaculate and had everything that we needed. We would love to stay here again when we come back to Charlottesville.

The best location you can ask for! Right in the heart of the corner. As described, you need to be okay with the noise of bars and restaurants - Coupe’s is right below you and you can definitely hear the music, but you can use a sound machine and it’s fine! Thanks for a great weekend.

Great location and a very comfortable place!

This location is perfect for us, very close to the downtown pedestrian mall, shops, restaurants, farmers market. And yet, this home is also protected from the hubbub, traffic and noise... leading to peaceful teatime and sleeping. I'd like to come back some day and use as a writer's retreat! Thank you Genevieve for being a most wonderful and thoughtful host for us over thanksgiving!

Stayed here with my 2 adult sons in March and it was perfect. Just note that it is basically one large room with no doors separating the beds. Super clean and everything was set up for us and ready, bathroom is stocked with soap shampoo and hair dryer, all the little travel amenities like a hotel room. Beds are comfy, there's a good sitting area, and everything is modern and new looking. The neighborhood was quiet near the house and we could walk to a couple different places for coffee and pastry or donuts. We brought them back for a nice breakfast on the picnic table behind the house. Parking was always open right in front of the house, and it was easy access back to the highway or to drive into town. This apartment was super clean and beautiful. Great stay for one night with my girlfriends needing a place to stay after winery hopping! The host was super responsive to any questions we had and accommodating to our needs. Very safe a beautiful neighborhood. Would recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to stay just outside Charlottesville!

My husband and I loved staying in the apartment. It was beautiful, had a great view, and was clean and cozy. It is only about 15 minutes from all that Charlottesville has to offer. Everything we needed was also readily available. We will stay there again and will recommend it to our friends.

Kalin’s place was easy to find, clean, and well stocked. It is about 20 minutes to downtown Charlottesville where we spent most of our time and 30 minutes to the Shenandoah National Park entrance. It is attached to the home but feels private and quiet! We appreciated the quick responses from Kalin and having everything we needed there.

Our stay was amazing! Very cool space, wish we could’ve spent more time inside. We will be staying here again!

Stayed here while I was working in the area. Gregg was awesome and always responsive. The pizza place they recommended in the information book was awesome. All in all it was a very nice place that was peaceful and relaxing, especially after a long day at work. I 100% would recommend this spot to anyone!

This is a private residence at the end of a dead end street and surrounded by woods. It feels like an oasis in the middle of Charlottesville's busy traffic. Would recommend.

Bettyjo’s place was eclectic and cute! We had everything we needed for our stay and the space felt private with its own entrance. The location was great - it’s close to everything! Bettyjo and her husband Steve were very friendly and fun to talk with. They provided great local recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

Second stay here and couldn’t love it more!! After we checked out of Ann’s place, we went to another AirBnb (as we had a bunch of family coming into town and needed a bigger place)….it doesn’t even compare!! Ann’s place is always so clean and lovely and this new place is a reminder of how fortunate we are to have found our lovely, CLEAN, escape in the beautiful VA country! Will be back around graduation time! I miss it already!!

Was a grey place to stay. Easy to get places and Katie provided some great recommendations for things around town.

We had a really wonderful stay! The Airbnb is very spacious and clean and in a perfect spot to downtown Charlottesville. We were able to walk to some breweries and restaurants. Overall would definitely recommend this host and condo.

Beautiful guest house, everything as described. In a lovely location. Thoughtful basket of snacks and homemade cookies for our arrival!

Ruthann is responsive and lovely. Her place was clean and the property is beautiful. She gives you space if you desire so you can enjoy the place. There were little snacks out that were helpful and the kitchen had everything you need. What a lovely and serene spot!

It was really great for our family to get away for a few days over Thanksgiving! The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the suite was cozy. Overall we enjoyed the flexibility of having a few different rooms, being able to cook (as much as we needed/wanted to), and the fact that the earth room doesn't have windows allowed us to sleep in late. As far as amenities, the tub pretty amazing. I also really enjoyed peeking at some of the crafting books on the bookshelves - the cowgirl room in particular has a workshop feel that I enjoyed! Really grateful we were able to go on this trip - thank you!

From the moment you walk in the door it feels like home. The Barn is such a cozy space, the decor is amazing and the amenities are terrific, they even have 2 types of creamer in the fridge for your coffee. The beds are super comfortable and the linens are so soft. Location can’t be beat, you are so close to all the wineries and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

This place was the perfect getaway!

This was my second stay at the Black Cat Retreat. I highly recommend staying here. The place is great! It’s a wonderful big area with plenty of natural light. Lennice is a wonderful host and a pleasure to talk to! My dog Max and I loved staying here!
