Great spot to relax, reset and recharge. The house had everything we needed to make our meals for the week. Beds and furniture were very comfortable and the hot tub was a great way to end the day. We saw horses most days and were grateful for the beach chairs to use. Best vacation of my life-will be back.

Very nice for a girls weekend get away. The neighborhood was quiet, and conveniently located to the things we wanted to do.

Our stay was fantastic. The house was gorgeous and the view of the waves was so stunning. Very clean and comfy. Had all the cooking things we needed and everything else we could need. Will definitely be coming again!

Alicia’s place was great for our vacation. Walkable to everything we did. She let us check in early and it was perfect timing. We appreciated that so much.

Shane's place was perfect for a peaceful get away on OBX. The bed was very comfortable, kitchen was clean and well stocked and the couch worked well to relax on at night. Best of all the hot tub was excellent!! I'd definitely go back again.

Pictures don't really do it justice. It is much brighter and lighter inside than shown on Airbnb. Very cute house, would consider it again for future bookings. Back yard is an oasis and the hot tub is a perk!

Perfect weekend getaway for my boyfriend and I! The house was in great condition, had a full functioning kitchen, and can’t beat the Hot tub :). All of the tv’s were smart tv’s so of course we watched Outer Banks on Netflix☺️. This house was right off the main road and very close to food, the beach, activities, and shopping. Also a good middle location to get to other towns in OBX. The host’s guidebook was also a great resource and we had some fresh amazing food. Our top recommendation is NC Coast Grill and Bar. 🦪 Check in and check out was a quick and easy process and the host is very responsive to our messages. We’d highly recommend it here to anyone coming to visit! 🥰

Had a great stay at Maria and Steve's! Place was clean and as listed. Only tricky part was the house is across the highway from the beach access which meant having to drive and find parking or cross a very busy road.

It’s the little things about this place that makes it special, the stocked coffee station, the dog supplies, the lights in the backyard, etc. It’s in a great location, close to the beach and close to lots of great eateries. Dustin was also super responsive and proactive in his outreach. 1000% would stay here again

This place was amazing! The location was everything and more. Chad’s place literally had everything we could think of even beach chairs and boards. He was responsive and friendly. Whatever you do, listen to him and go crabbing!!!! This was the perfect place for us (we brought our 3 year old toddler and dog) Thanks again!

We really enjoyed the small bungalow at Avalon. We enjoyed all the things to do and learn around the outer banks. This was a much needed trip for my wife and I for a long weekend of relaxation. Hope to enjoy this house again sometime! Thanks Michael and Maria!

The OBX treehouse far exceeded our expectations. It was impeccably clean, comfortable and the perfect peaceful refuge. I plan to come back very soon. I highly recommend!

Great location, only a five minute walk to the beach and you can hear the waves while sitting on the top deck. The house had everything we needed. It was perfectly decorated and very comfortable for lounging after the day's adventures. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our family with dogs, and included a picnic table next to the grill which was perfect for seafood eating. Bikes were great and many other beach necessities for the summer months. Brian provided very detailed instructions and suggestions for restaurants and more. Great place!

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was a peaceful place to rest at the end of a long day. The cottage was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The host was friendly and communicated promptly to questions we had before our visit. Highly recommend this property!

We had an amazing time at the cottage!! It is very obvious how much thought, care, and attention to detail went into the property. It was so clean, kitchen had everything we needed, the pillows and bed were such good quality. We came here to relax and were able to do exactly that!! We will definitely be returning, I could spend days on the porch swing reading and enjoying the view. Great hosts, great house, great location! This spot exceeded all our expectations!

Communication was excellent. Maria’s place was the perfect size for my daughter and I. Being surrounded by Maria’s art was just such a delight. My only recommendation is the common area needs furniture/rugs to be cleaned or replaced. They are really looking run down and quite dirty. Everything else was spotless.

I want Jess to come decorate and design where I live! You can tell they have an eye for design and hospitality. Jess was always so kind and responsive. We were going to be late for check in and she made sure there were lights on so we wouldn’t arrive to a dark house. It was very clean and organized. Overall I really enjoyed our stay but a few comments: The sliding door was super frustrating to unlock/lock. She said they are planning to replace it soon, but it’s the only way inside. It took us a few minutes each time. You can’t read the digital oven - when you go to turn on the oven, you can’t actually see the numbers and just have to guess the temperature you set it to. I didn’t bring it up during our stay so I’m not sure if that is going to be fixed or not. I could tell staying there they care about the details so these things felt like big misses (a working door and oven we didn’t have to think about).

I would rate this 6/5 stars. We were a group of 9 friends who stayed at the place and every one of us loved the cottage. It’s right next to the beach with a nice porch area. It has a swimming pool right next to the cottage. The host was really responsive and also kind enough to get us extra amenities in the cold night. Would stay here every time I visit the place. Only complaint was there was no lock to one of the restrooms. Other than that there were no issues. Thank you!!

We loved staying at this cozy cabin! The water views were simply gorgeous. Our two dogs were very comfortable and loved the yard. Our kids couldn’t get enough of the screened in porch. The only thing I would give a heads up on are the roosters next door. They started crowing at 6:30am and didn’t let up until 8:30am. Then they randomly crowed throughout the day. It didn’t really bother me, but it woke up my kids and thus they woke up my husband and myself. So, just something to be aware of. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

We had a great stay at Ginger’s cabin! So cozy and charming! It was very clean, located in a quiet area, and a short drive to many OBX attractions. We felt immediately at home & it was a great way to kick off the holiday season! Our dogs had a great time as well.

Swell Life is a great place to stay on the OBX. We will definitely be back. We really enjoyed being able to take our pup, he loves the beach. Swell life has everything you need to enjoy your vacation.
