The family met at Jim’s place to celebrate an early Christmas together. There was room for all of us. The kitchen contained all the necessary essentials. The town of Washington provided excellent choices for a dinner or two. I don’t doubt my choice in choosing Jim’s airbnb!

Absolutely spotless home. Perfectly described. We were in the area to go to Pungo Lake for waterfowl migration and photography. The home was very close to the refuge. Very convenient location. Quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you!

Great place to stay if you don’t want to be “right on the beach”. Walk to beach with a family and “all the beach things” would be rough. It was just my wife and I and our dog so not too bad of a walk. Would stay again at any of Michael’s properties as the house was very clean and everything was in great working order. This house was perfect for our girls getaway! The layout is perfect for privacy and coming together to celebrate in the main area. The bedrooms were spacious, had plenty of areas to keep your personal items and everything was very clean and comfortable! Gia was an accommodating host, giving flexibility to the timing and also suggesting local spots to try out while staying in the area. Honestly, the ladies and I were so happy there were all the amenities to not need to leave ❤️

Second time staying, as always it's a great house in a great location, 10/10 recommend to anyone wanting a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors

Our family loved staying at this charming cottage on the river. The views are beautiful and very peaceful. Inside the cottage is everything you need for comfortable stay, the decor is tastefully and artfully done. Outside is equally enjoyable with fun and relaxation all around! Our family enjoyed the sunsets and the hammock. You truly feel on vacation here! So peacefuI, would recommend this location above staying in Norfolk or VA Beach to get the best of all worlds. Its an easy quick drive to Downtown Portsmouth and Norfolk. Virginia Beach was only 25-35 min using Midtown tunnel! We loved walking around the neighborhood everyone was so friendly. Portsmouth City park was easy for us to walk to and only a few minute drive by car. Truly one of our best airbnb experiences in the Hampton roads. We felt like we were able to take in not only the Elizabeth River views and tranquility, but also got to experience surrounding tidewater cities. Janine's cottage just shines!

Megan was very accommodating. Her place was perfect for my family get together. Plenty of room and extra seating. We never felt like we were on top of each other. It had everything we needed and more. From kitchen supplies to games. We hung out a lot in the kitchen, dining room, and living room. From my 18 month old great neice to my 75 y/o mom, this place helped make family memories to last a lifetime. Great property. Great team. We plan to stay again in the near future.

The house was comfortable and elegant. I liked that each bedroom had the same size beds so there were no debates about who should sleep where. Plenty of space to spread out or be cozy all together. Honestly, LOVED the living room sofas. Smart tvs in every room. Host was very responsive to any questions I had.

I had an amazing few days at Jayme's place. Everything was exactly as described. I look forward to returning. This may sound like a cliche, but it truly is a hidden gem. The apartment is spacious and welcoming. Perfect for a small family or getaway with a few friends. I was able to visit with my family, while having my own quiet space where I could work in the day and see my kids/grandkids in the afternoons and evenings. Just steps away, you can rent a bike and go anywhere. The area is also very walkable. A wonderful restaurant is also just steps away from the property. Everything is very close, including groceries, restaurants, and things to do. And, of course, there is a very easy short stroll to the beach so no worries about looking for parking :) Jayme is super friendly and helpful. It was a treat to meet her. I don't think I have ever met a host in person. I have been fortunate to have wonderful AirBnB experiences, but this has been one of my best.

We loved our stay at Heather and Tom’s home. It was definitely “home away from home.” So relaxing and peaceful, just what we were needing. The king bed was comfy and we enjoyed sitting on the deck as well. We’ve stayed in quite a few Airbnbs, this is by far the cleanest. We will definitely be back. Thanks again!

Great space, list of local things to do on the table when you walk in. Comfortable couch and bed. Bathroom was cleaned and stocked with some supplies such as tampons, pads, q-tips

Core memories were made . I will be back every chance I get .

We really enjoyed our stay at Katie’s. We had everything we needed away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked plus there’s also a grill. The place was spotless and we felt very comfortable with our stay. It was easy to relax in a place like this and just get away for a bit. Katie is also very responsive and the communication was great. We wouldn’t mind staying here again.

Monica was very friendly and helpful. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and seemed truly invested in making sure we enjoyed our stay and had a great visit to the OBX! Her place was very clean and just right for our needs, would return!

Chel’s airbnb is absolutely phenomenal, especially for the price. The area feels safe, cozy, quiet, and is just a few hundred feet from the main road. I would 100% recommend this place for a getaway in the OBX. So glad we chose here instead of a hotel :)

Stayed for a duck hunting trip. The accommodations were good. They even went and got us space heaters since it was low to mid 20s at night to make sure we were warm as we could be. Very friendly people. Nice clean place for a little hunt/fish trip get away!

This was an amazing and beautiful place to stay out in the woods. It was a great place to retreat to and eat dinner at after a long day of birding! Would stay here again!

This day was great. Judy was very nice and professional. The setting of the cabin was right on the river unfortunately I didn’t have time to fish, but it would’ve been a great place to do so. Very quiet at night if you like nature, you will love this place.

This place was absolutely gorgeous, very private and romantic. We loved the fireplace in the living room and the bed was the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. Only suggestion I would say is better lighting in the shower in the downstairs bathroom and the shower head in the master bedroom. :) We will definitely be returning again though and can’t wait to come back. 😊

Dragon and his property are truly unique. He provided not just one, but two personal numbers as soon as the booking was confirmed! Despite my late arrival due to a nasty storm, he stayed up to ensure I arrived safely. He encouraged me to relax and not to worry about a specific checkout time. While the cabin is simple, it provides a safe and dry shelter for sleep. The grounds are free for guests to enjoy as they wish. I enjoyed my morning as I played some music and cooked breakfast on the provided stove. As the sun rose and the birds sang. Although I brought everything one could need. There is plenty provided for such a reasonable price. Dragon's property, though simple, felt like a haven. From the moment I arrived, to the moment I left, I felt at peace.
