Lovely house. Everybody is very helpful and always available. Only thing is, if you want to book any activity or taxi from cebu, try booking it on your own and not through them. Huge price difference for the same services and experiences. We did this mistake and booked few things from them, and later when we got to know the real prices, it was shocking.

Thank You Leah, your mom and to the rest of the staff especially Junior!! It was an amazing stay, felt like home and most of all my pet chiki enjoyed it the most. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The room is clean the design of the villa is well planned. The area is peaceful yet walking distance to the main area of panagsama. Extra patience on the road going in if you bring a car as it is small road though locals are very willing to help and adjust 😉. Overall, a great stay and would definitely come back. A beautiful home located in the very southern part of Cebu. Although a long drive from Cebu city, the location was beautiful. Literally located right on the beach with an aquarium right outside your back door in the ocean! You don’t even have to go anywhere to snorkel, just write out side! Close enough to Oslob where we part took in swimming with the whale sharks. The staff was wonderful and breakfast was prepared each morning for us included, and the price which was a nice bonus. We got lucky and had the whole place to ourselves, which I must have misunderstood that in the listing. ( that there would have been a chance other people would have occupied the house; which would have been strange. ) The only couple things that I would give feedback on was the condition of some of the rugs. ( mainly in the master downstairs bedroom and bathroom had many stains. ) also no propane for the grill outside. The house was perfect to host myself and my team and great for cooking and relax

Un superbe séjour dans cette maison juste incroyable ! L eau de la mer était agitée donc pas génial pour le snorkeling et appart profiter de cette environnement de rêve il n y a pas grand chose à faire… cependant si vous venez dans l idée d un séjour reposant ou entre amis c le top

Great communication and 24/7 security and caretaker. Caretaker was very hospitable and no problem to tough to resolve. House was clean and tidy and great view over the sea. Unfortunately both my wife and I are light sleepers and the main 4 lane highway is between the house and the sea. Traffic was 24/7 so we got little sleep and thus left a day earlier.

The place is really nice. Good food good staff. Everything is well. We’re glad to spend our New Year’s Eve in this place.

Overall, John's place was good value for money. Since I have lived in the same house for about 3 months in 2024 when it was owned by someone else, my expectations were lower, expecting it to be dated. Still, our stay was memorable and fun, celebrating 2025 New Year. The place was reasonably clean. It was fun to play with the Brunswick-brand billiard table and cook our own meals in the kitchen. Best experiences: night swimming in its pristine water at high tide; star gazing at the patio; and the sardine run nearby (10min leisurely walk from the beach house). The caretaker Mario was warm and very helpful. I also must note that the water supply and pressure was quite good, including for the bath shower, something that was quite challenging during my stay 10 years ago in 2014. I would highly recommend the place to you if you are not a fussy guest, expecting hotel-level quality. Do not sweat the small stuff and you can marvel at the unique beauty of its natural environment. A very beautiful home in a lovely setting. Very picturesque right on the beach. We loved the pool it was perfect. Fair warning the road coming in is quite rough, you wouldn’t want to be driving a car in and out more than once a day. We opted to cook most of our meals instead of going to restaurants. Great location for canyoneering at Kawasan falls and also not too far from Oslob for the whale sharks. The caretakers that were on the property were attentive and lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a remote getaway, it was very quiet and relaxing. Thank you so much :)

The charged bill of the electrcity is understandable since the rate of the electric company is quite high. all in all my experience in the place is so far great. Place will recharge you sea windy breeze, view is amazing and the place is so solemn my mind is full charge. Thanks jake and ate erma all in all the price is justified the electricity bill.

wouldn't choose any other place to stay with my friends. Jesa even gave us extra time post checkout to wait for our flight. 10/10

The place is great, quiet and peaceful. Great for relaxation. The host/ owners are very accommodating. Their place has electricity already and a backup generator. Nothing to worry about the effect of typhoon, they are ready to serve.

Very pleasant stay. Great location. Building has very nice restaurant and store. Pool area is private, quiet and nice temperature. Overall we recommend!!!

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. The place was very clean and had everything you need. Communication with the host was great. It was a bonus there were paddle boards and snorkels to use!

From the moment we arrived for my wife's 30th birthday celebration, John went above and beyond to make our experience truly special. John surprised us with a beautiful birthday cake and fresh flowers for my wife's milestone celebration - a thoughtful touch that immediately made us feel welcome and valued as guests. These personal details transformed what would have been a wonderful trip into something truly extraordinary. The accommodation itself was perfect - clean, comfortable, and ideally located to enjoy everything the island has to offer. The nearby beaches were absolutely stunning with crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life that made every snorkeling session an adventure. What truly sets this Airbnb apart is John's exceptional hospitality. He was attentive without being intrusive, providing excellent service.

Stephen is one of the best hosts I have ever met in my life. He is a super friendly person, with an incredible story and great knowledge of the Philipines history and perks. He welcomed us in his beautiful forest home, an amazing place that he entirely built himself throughout the years and the best part is that he lives there too so you really can get to know him well. This place allowed us to live the real tropical experience, living in a peaceful and very natural place that made us feel like in a movie. Stephen loves treating his guests as friends, we spent quite a lot of time together and believe me.. you’ll be surprised of all the knowledge that he has to share. I highly recommend renting Stephen’s house to all the people interested in living an experience in the heart of Philippines, I hope to be able to go back myself as well as soon as possible. We LOVED this place. Thanks Stephen for everything, you’re the best!!! 😊

If you like privacy, peace and quiet, this location has two rooms overlooking the sea and an excellent protected coral reef for experienced snorkelers, a view of the channel and Cebu. If you want Dumaguete nightlife and restaurants, its a 45 to 60 minute drive. A bit tricky to find the red gate the first time, just past the CK gas station going north from San Jose. There are lots of carendarias nearby, and a nice rooftop resto at Wuthering Heights about 5 min drive. Best enjoyed if you have a car, but local transport is cheap/abundant during the day. At this time, the highway north from Dumaguete is under construction in numerous places, and at night, many motorcycles and tricycles drive without lights -- so you really need to pay attention. There are many new fast cars, trucks and buses, but these are often blocked in single lane areas by slow moving motorcycles, tricycles and jeepneys -- so beware -- lots of illegal passing going on... Super nice host and staff.

I was travelling with my elderly mom and my young daughter. My mom appreciated the daily housekeeping, my kid loved the pool. For me, what stood out was the location - not too far from key areas but away from the crowded touristy parts. The only concern I raised was the internet - it was weak and kept getting disconnected. It meant I couldn't get some online work done, but also that I just had to surrender to relaxing in Sofia's place. 🙂 And yes, there is a new, friendly owner. Some issues I've previously read in google reviews would no longer be true. 😏

Boris and Itena are lovely hosts. The Villa is as shown and very good equipped. It is very tidy and the best water pressure I ever had in the phillipines. Good and quiet aircons cool the sleeping room and living room. There is a pool in the inner courtyard, perfect depth for europeans to chill. I was allowed to use it every time, no restrictipns like at other Accommodations. You shall rent a scooter to stroll around, go to shops, restaurants and beaches. They provide so many recommendations for your stay. When I arrived there was a tasty welcome gift in the fridge. On my birthday they suprised me with another gift and introduced me to their friends. Overall I loved the stay here and would have wished to stayed longer. Thank you both very much, I hope to see you again.

I love everything about my stay at Evangeline’s place - It’s above 5 Stars. We felt at home during my stay , the staff’s( Lezel, Arlene and all others ) services were above and beyond - they were always assisting whenever you need help -very warm and friendly people. The house is so clean and, spotless. The house is located by the beach, so you can hear the sound of the waves that provide so much serenity especially at night- super romantic ! My whole family really had so much fun during their stay . Since we were not familiar at the location, the Host was very helpful assisting whatever we needed by referring us ( Massage , Private Chef - the best cook , and others )! Can’t wait to come back to this place , Very highly recommended! Thank you so much Evangeline for your perfect house and Staff, keep up the good work ! Love you guys 💕

Nous avons été enchantés de notre séjour. Le logement est impeccable avec beaucoup d'attention portée aux petits détails, rien ne manque. Peter et Rowena sont toujours disponibles sans jamais être envahissants. L'un des points décisifs qui avait retenu notre attention est l'accès direct à la mer et nous n'avons pas été déçus, l'endroit est parfait pour le snorkeling et la plongée. C'est très calme, de jour comme de nuit. La contrepartie est qu'il faut un moyen de transport mais nous avions une voiture donc pas de souci pour nous. Merci pour votre accueil et ne changez rien, tout est parfait.
