After a week of hotel stays it was so nice to decompress in a home and do laundry! It was just the 2 of us and the space was much more than enough. A bigger party would be very comfortable. Appreciated the welcome email which included instructions on how to use all the appliances. Request- add in a true American coffee maker. The fact that the home is completely updated added to our comfort level. There are great spaces to relax and we enjoyed what the home offered and loved the showers. This location in Central Portugal is in a sleepy hood. There is a corner market but it doesn’t offer much. Arriving late, we were able to get a few essentials for our first morning such as milk & bananas. The 2 towns we decided to day trip to were Coimbra & Aveiro. Both are approximately 1 hour away. While it was a bit farther than I hoped, it was a nice chance to see the countryside & the A17 is so easy to drive. We were quite impressed with the freeways. Would consider a return with more guests!

Fabulous house for a group or large family. Everything is so beautifully done and Melina is obviously an interior decorator because the small things mattered. Same single problem as every other reviewer is "the bells" {of the church, Igrela de Mexilhoeira} but Melina cannot do anything about that. Great accommodation, great location, great hostess.

Candida was lovely and at check in, gave up local knowledge and tour of house, which was clean and very functional. They had a hair dryer, nice when traveling to not need your own or worry with voltage and a small space heater which was nice for our unusually cold days. There's two bedrooms, one with a comfortable bed (not too firm or too soft) and one that was a bit thinner and softer, so you have options! There was an induction stove top and microwave with a convection feature, good for warming things though probably not good for baking. The only con was unfortunately the towels and sheets are washed in a strongly scented detergent-common for Portugal but still bothersome. The location has great parking very close and free and is in a lovely neighborhood.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit am Strand von Bordeira. Die Unterkunft ist größer als gedacht und man hat alles was man braucht. Die Nähe zum Strand und zu den Klippen ist wirklich beeindruckend. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen! Danke für alles.

A casa não podia estar melhor localizada, mesmo na Vila de Óbidos, com vista para a muralha, a 1 minuto da entrada mas mantendo um silêncio e calma muito agradáveis. A casa tem lareira, o que fez com que a nossa estadia de inverno se tornasse super confortável e acolhedora. Tivemos todos os utensílios necessários, tanto para cozinhar como outros utilitários. Internet rápida e fiável, zero problemas. Por fim, o Hugo foi um óptimos Host, com várias dicas onde comer, passear e outras actividades. Todas as instruções foram claras e esteve sempre disponível e responsivo. Foi uma ótima estadia, imediatamente guardadas nos favoritos, sem dúvida, o melhor sitio para ficar na sua visita a Óbidos e arredores. Muito obrigado.

We had a great stay here, it was perfect for our family vacation. The house is beautiful and very well taken care of, with spacious bedrooms, a large family room and well-equipped kitchen. The garden and pool were also lovely - private and quiet and a great place to hang out. The beach and train station were both a short walk, and Estoril is well-situated for trips to Lisbon and Cascais or to explore towns along the coast. Catarina was a fantastic host and Dona Gilda helped with anything we needed during the stay.

Świetna lokalizacja, blisko do plaży, rekomendowane restauracje były świetne. W domu było czysto i przyjemnie, miał wszystko czego potrzebowaliśmy, a widok na ocean był fantastyczny. Gospodarz odpisywał bardzo szybko na wiadomości, dużym i bardzo miłym zaskoczeniem był poczęstunek.

Miguel was very friendly and flexible with the check in and check out time. The apartment is large with a great view! We had a lovely stay.

We stayed at Guilherme's place the night before our flight out of Lisbon and it was perfect! It is only a few minutes drive from the airport, there was ample free parking for our rental car, and a Lidl grocery store and gas station were just a couple minutes away. Guilherme greeted us when we arrived, showed us around the apartment, and left us with a bottle of wine, some chocolates, and food for breakfast in the morning! Highly recommended for your final night(s) in Lisbon.

Ana ,est une hôte bien vaillante et en tout points formidable. Le logement est à proximité de la gare de caxia à 7 mn à pied et de la vous allez directement à 20 mn de train aux portes de Lisbonne avec la place du commerce et l’arc de triomphe qui vous ouvre la porte de la cité . Was in a great location with everything we needed for a few days in Lisbon. António was always quick to respond and made the whole process a breeze

Laura’s apartment was perfect for our family of 5; it was very clean, quiet neighborhood, had everything we needed and beautifully decorated. Communication was good and Laura was very helpful. It was easy to Uber to where we needed to go in Lisbon. Highly recommend Laura’s place!

It’s hard to say just a few words. we love the apartment so much we could see ourselves living in it. wonderfully laid out, wonderfuly decorated, artistic. Two small terraces are a wonderful addition. And for a chilly January they found wonderful ways to help us warm up the apartment. Also, it’s a great location for exploring all of Lagos from the old town to the beaches and the Cliffs overlooking them.

Very convenient location and accommodating and helpful host! Beds were comfortable and the place is as described in the pictures.

Great location with easy transit and right on the historic Tram 28 line. Just off the street enough to be relatively quiet, very private and the soundproof windows help keep the night sounds/tram out of the house. Quite a few stairs to acceas but with landings to stop with your luggage. Gated courtyard-like access area felt safe. Central spot in Alfama. Washing Machine wasn't working but host was responsive and willing to reimburse for laundromat.

This is a lovely property. Brian dealt very quickly with the couple of small problems we had on arrival. A car is needed as the complex is in a spot with no pavements. Gardens, pool etc all immaculate and underground parking was great. Internet was a bit hit and miss

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful location. Susana is a fantastic host, she quickly responded to any messages and was there to greet us on arrival to ensure our check in process was seamless. We, a family of four, had a great time at Carolina‘s apartment. The apartment is very comfortable and we got everything we needed. We loved hanging out on the large balcony and enjoy the gorgeous view over the beach and coastline. The beach is very close and it was easy and quick to get there with the Kids and Play in the Sand. Carolina was always helpful, Kind and easy to communicate with. We can definitely recommend staying there and would love to come back one day.

Rui is een geweldige, pro-actieve SUPERHOST. Al op het vliegveld had hij een taxichauffeur geregeld (voor onze kosten uiteraard). Rui was aanwezig bij binnenkomst, fruit stond voor ons klaar, net als water, wijn en bier in de koelkast. Zo tevreden dat we inmiddels voor 2025 hebben geboekt. TOP

Die Wohnung ist eine der besten die ich jemals über Airbnb gebucht habe. Sauber, hell und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Selbst ein Tiefgaragenstellplatz ist vorhanden. Die Lage zum Hafen ist auch sehr schön, es gibt gute Restaurants und Möglichkeiten zu Frühstücken. Auch in der Stadt oder am Strand ist man in circa 20 Minuten zu Fuß. Herausheben möchte ich Edite, unsere Gastgeberin. Sie ist immer zu erreichen und hat uns bei jedem Problem innerhalb kürzester Zeit geholfen, selbst als wir uns an Weihnachten ausgesperrt haben mit zwei kleinen Kindern. Die Wohnung und die Gastgeberin bekommen von uns eine 11/10! :)
