This might just be the nicest airbnb we've ever stayed at. This is about 20 minutes from Munising right in a beautiful forest and on a gorgeous small lake. If there wasn't so much to do in the area, then I would have been happy to never leave the property. The space is one huge room.There is a microwave and mini-fridge and gas grill. But remember to bring your own dishes/flatware as there is not a kitchen. We enjoyed stargazing and then coming in and watching movie with the fireplace on. Keep in mind that the wifi is a bit slow. So keep that in mind if you plan to have a working vacation. The listing states that there is "some shared space", however the only shared space is outside. The space itself is totally private and the hosts never came down to the deck in front of our space. If you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful spot in one of the most fun areas of the UP, then this is the place. I suggest arriving before it gets dark. It is a few miles down a dirt road in the woods.

Of cabins such as this it is often said, “Once you’re here you won’t want to leave.” Reason number one is that it’s an extremely clean, well-kept, and comfortable cabin. The sort of place you feel good about returning to at the end of the day. The second reason is the washboard and potholed Mirror Lake Road. Driving out and back in once a day is more than enough.

It is a beautiful place on the water and we couldn’t have asked for a more quiet vacation. We spent some time driving to local places all the way to the porcupine mountains but we also enjoyed time on the lake. We will definitely be back. Bob and Sarah were extremely friendly and responded very quickly if we had any questions but they had everything set up that we needed. We loved our stay.

Wished I stayed more days. Lovely place and lots of things to do around. Very good restaurants as well The Breakwall had the best breakfast!! Thank you for hosting us Leslie!

We enjoyed our time in the north woods. Beautiful views from the decks. The house was well kept, very comfortable accommodations, and well stocked with pots/pans/utensils, as we prepared all our own meals. Did not use grill, but propane was available. Wifi met everyone's needs. Would stay again.

Our stay was just what we expected, a rustic home on a beautiful lake in the amazing fall UP. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The directions with a combination of GPS were right on and helpful as we arrived in the dark.

We really enjoyed our winter getaway! The location was perfect, close proximity to Eben ice caves and Munising. Beautiful, quiet and private neighborhood. The bedding was very comfortable and the heated garage was a huge bonus while lugging things into the house.

The house is on a beautiful lot and very quiet. The house had everything we needed and located close to the snowmobile trail. The hosts were awesome to work with! Great communication and we really enjoyed our stay. Great snowmobile trip. Highly recommend.

Very peaceful setting on Powell Lake. The unit was very clean and provided my family and I with a great home base for Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

Amazing location will stay again

The place is as described and as shown in the photos. We were fortunate to be there during the color peak and we saw the northern lights one night as a bonus. I would stay there again without hesitation especially if you are traveling with a furry friend.

Conveniently located, great place to stay

Sarah was very friendly and easy to approach for the questions. Location was perfect for our trip plan. Our group of friends enjoyed the full moon rising and sun rising at the Superior Lake beach!! Fall leaves are the best gift during this trip. Karmar resort is located in between Munising and Marquette. It is perfect place to stay for our girls trip.

My friends and I had a great time at the campground. The pictures made it appear that it would be a little more private. But honestly we just needed a dry place to sleep. It worked out very well for us. All of the staff we came in contact with were friendly. The bathrooms were very well kept compared to any campground I’ve ever been to. They have so many things to do. Not to mention a beautiful view of Au Train Lake! Overall I would highly recommend staying in this Bungalow! I appreciate everyone who works hard to maintain this campground and look forward to returning someday.

We stayed in the Superior cottage and it was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. It has an amazing view of Lake Superior and the sunrise was amazing! Sarah was very friendly and accommodating and we look forward to visiting again!
