Chris's place is really a home away from home, while still getting a relaxing and safe holiday experience. I was even able to cook a special lunch for my family and the kitchen had everything that I needed, to the last detail. We had a lovely stay and I highly recommend Cheers Umzumbe, and Chris is a very patient and efficient host.

The Studio is an absolute hidden gem! Tucked away in a remote location, this enchanting spot is a true treasure. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I'd stumbled upon a secret paradise. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a unique charm that's hard to find elsewhere. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful, with an air of seclusion that makes you feel like you're in your own private sanctuary. And the hospitality? Top-notch! Vicki's warmth and hospitality shine through in every detail, making you feel right at home. If you're looking for a truly special experience, look no further than The Studio. It's a remote retreat that's well worth the journey.

We so enjoyed our stay, and appreciated the quality linen, comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen. They really have maximised the space beautifully. What a gorgeous spot!

The Beach House was everything I hoped it to be. Spacious enough for a comfortable family gathering for a special occasion! The sunrise view from the Beach House on a clear morning is something dreams are made of and out of a picture book. The dolphins put on a show on the last day which then meant all the boxes for this holiday were ticked! The pool and lapa in a protected area an added alternative and bonus. Thank you for a dream week away... I hope to be back again in the future!

The stay at kelvins place was amazing , we had the best host who was very responsive, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting soon . Thanks to our great host and the little puppies for making our stay an amazing one .

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience staying here. Nikki and Tom went above and beyond as air b&b hosts and truly made my experience amazing. When I landed in Durban, they picked me up from the airport and after learning that my luggage was stuck in Joburg, they took me to the store so that I could get some toiletries and food for the day. They were so patient and warm in every interaction that I had with them. When we lost water, they brought me a 5 liter jug and were extremely communicative any time we lost water or electricity. I was in Durban for two months and struggled to find people to travel with and they literally adopted me most weekends to hang out with them at their beach club. Regarding the air bnb itself, it was the perfect size for me. It is in the safest neighborhood with great restaurants and a bakery within walking distance! There's fiber internet and a washing machine. Loved this little cottage, love Nikki and Tom, and love Durban!!

The hosts as well as the caretaker were amazing and very helpful. The place was cosy and felt like home. Hygiene and the aesthetics of the place was top tier. The hosts had everything you would need and things you didn’t realise you needed. The hosts even ensured a projector was available and set up for our family movie night. Lovely villa with a beautiful view to wake up to everyday. We enjoyed our stay. Definitely would recommend & look forward to returning!

We had to take an unexpected trip to Durban and booked Martie’s listing for our stay. We had a great stay and found the listing to be great value for money, with shops and everything else we needed for our stay within walking distance. The listing was very well equipped with all the amenities we needed. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with beds that gave us a good night’s rest after a log trip. Martie and Dave were super helpful accommodating a later than expected check-in and our need to park and move a large trailer around. This will definitely be our listing of choice the next time we visit Durban.

We had a lovely stay. It was wonderful waking up to a view of the ocean. The stretch of beach in front of the unit is beautiful, gorgeous spot for morning coffee.
