This was our very first AirBnB stay for our 1 year wedding anniversary and Maureen and Matt set the bar high! We were searching for a quiet, peaceful cabin with a hot tub and great view. This cabin delivered everything and more. Maureen thought of every detail, from the cool instruments throughout to play, to the expansive record collection, even leaving a beautiful sketch of a bird for us to find on the picturesque enclosed porch. We watched birds fly over the mountains with the supplied binoculars, spent a relaxing night under the string lights watching the stars in the hot tub, and planned our next years goals together while playing connect 4 and enjoying our wedding cake in the living room. The cabin was super clean and well equipped. We forgot a few things and to our delight, were able to find substitutes easily. We ventured into Berkeley Springs for a coffee and it was such a cute town. Absolutely perfect weekend. Thank you!

We had the best time! We had everything we needed besides food. The same goes for our dog. Dog bowls were even provided for her. Every aspect of the place was well thought out. We were happy to find binoculars, bc we always forget ours. We saw several ducks, geese and an eagle. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful. It was a beautiful place inside and out. Our favorite spot was sitting by the wood stove in the comfy chairs next to the sliding doors to the top deck. The view of the Cacapon River was breathtaking. We felt right at home. We were lucky and had decent enough weather to enjoy our coffee on the deck. Communication was excellent before and during our stay. Highly recommend!

Susan’s home was immaculate - the house was even more beautiful and more private than the pictures — truly a mountain escape! We had a little difficulty with the garage code upon arrival, but Susan was immediately available and helped us get right into the house. We were thrilled with the quiet privacy, beautiful mountain surroundings, and the gorgeous interior. We loved the ability to run the wood stove on the colder nights (it even snowed the first evening we were there), the hot tub overlooking a rocky outcrop, and the pool table downstairs. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and more. Berkeley Springs was a little further than I initially anticipated, but getting there was an easy drive down a main road. Susan helped us with recommendations for things to do, since the weather didn’t cooperate with our original plans to hike. Be aware that the road to the house is a long mountain road and a little rough in the winter.

We had the best time! I booked this place for a getaway for my husband’s birthday and we loved it! The place was great, the hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed so much. Can’t wait to be back!

I don’t even know where to begin with this review, there are just so many incredible things to say! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the cabin is truly everything you could ever dream of for a perfect mountain getaway. We originally planned to spend New Year’s here, but we loved it so much that we ended up extending our stay for two extra days. As if the trip wasn’t magical enough, we were lucky to experience the beauty of snowfall atop the mountain, it was like something out of a postcard. Then there’s Debbie, she was an absolute gem! So accommodating and genuinely helpful with every little thing we needed, making the entire experience even more memorable. This place is a slice of heaven, I highly recommend to all!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Luke’s place! The layout is amazing, and the highlight was the outdoor space, particularly the hot tub and the fire pit. Also, the beds were extremely comfy!

Wonderful, unique cabin. Very cozy, remote, and charming. It was exactly what we needed after a busy holiday season. The wood stove, sauna and hot tub make this a perfect winter getaway. Kitchen was well stocked, the house had everything we needed. We would love to come back and couldn’t stop wishing we owned the place! Thank you for a wonderful getaway!!!

This place was fantastic for a group. Kitchen was well stocked with good utensils and cookware. The appliances were all very nice as well as the atmosphere. They note that it can be hard to find with GPS. this is true. Apple Maps and Waze WILL take you to the wrong place. Google Maps seemed to work perfect. Only comment id add is it’s seems you need to hit star * after typing the gate code. Great place if you want a remote escape.

The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. If i visit Keyser again. I will see if the cabin is available. TThe owner was responsive and friendly.

Cozy, peaceful, and pristine small cabin close to the river, C&O Canal, Paw Paw Tunnel, and other local attractions and state parks. Highly recommend for a fun, relaxing family weekend away! We were particularly impressed with the local recommendations and really comfortable beds! A must-stay for anyone in the area!

My stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions, and the amenities provided made me feel right at home. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay and would definitely book again in the future!

Everything went very well. The cabin is a beautiful retreat and cozy in the winter. The game room was a treat, given the cold outside! Brittania was super helpful and communicative. She went above and beyond to help make us feel safe and comfortable. We will definitely be back!

We thought this home was even nicer than the pictures. 10/10 What a great find. The Fern was the perfect balance for our needs. So quiet and relaxing and if you are like me and work all the time and want to get away this place is for you. This cabin has a multi-screen desk set up and VERY good internet (NO STARLINK). We were super thankful for the provided firewood (Great Fireplace). We stayed 10 days and went through so much of it. Both my wife and I appreciated all the small details about this home. We have 2 Dogs that thoroughly enjoyed inspecting the whole property and more. I wish the weather was nicer so we could have enjoyed the deck and the screened-in area. We will be coming back to check them out. The Grill was in Good condition :) My Wife enjoyed the large dining table making it easy to puzzle and game but still have room to eat. 3 nitpicks (personal opinion) The Beds were a bit firm for our liking, I thought the TV could use a soundbar and the closest stores were 15+ mins.

What a wonderful spot to stay while visiting Rocky Gap. I would definitely come back

The cabin is very cozy, we spent some very pleasant days with the family, the kitchen had everything we needed, the rooms were spacious, everything was clean, we did not use the jacuzzi because the weather was very cold (for next time). Important information, the nearest town is about 30 minutes away, you should bring with you everything you need such as food, water, because there is nothing nearby. Something that surprised us was the neighbor who lives right next to the cabin who was not at all friendly, we wanted to walk a little outside and the man told us that we should not walk around the area, that we should stay inside the house. Something that made us feel a little scared. The owner Tony was very attentive and always answered our concerns on time.

Another great stay. Have been back to these cabins a half dozen times now. 10mins from Rocky Gap. Late checkout is sometimes available. Will definitely return.

Great location. Peaceful. Check in was a little rough, but that was more my inability to access the manual than the fault of the host. Cabin was as listed, though a bit more rustic than the pictures had let on (positive for us!). Hot tub was perfect addition to a surprisingly warm day. Plenty of seating throughout. Would recommend bringing extra towels as you are provided one per person, which can be rough when combining hot tub use and showering. Overall a nice relaxing stay. Love the screened in patio. Will definitely keep this place in mind for summer getaways.

We loved the property and the access to the water! Saw eagles! The fireplace was great. Loved being located out and away. Great laid back family vacation.

Returning to Flintstone for the second year in a row, Jay's spot was awesome as always and close to many beautiful sights and scenes in the mountains. I greatly enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

Our stay was fantastic. And not in the traditional sense—we actually had an issue with our first Cabin we had rented for a few nights from our host, Tony. Unfortunately, an unpreventable problem occurred where the water line had broken to our cabin where we initially stayed. After a prompt response from Tony, he was able to place us in an even better Cabin at no additional cost (He even let us pick!). So we definitely got a great stay for the money. Both locations were awesome and exactly as described. Pairing that with our hospitable and responsive host, made for a great little vacation for my girlfriend and I with our Dog! Thanks Tony for a great experience!
