We had a wonderful weekend in Frostburg - and The Knit Inn was a great place to stay! The location was perfect -- we arrived on a Friday afternoon, parked the car and didn't use it again until the weekend was over! Both Frostburg and the Knit Inn are hidden gems--offering delicious meals (especially Giuseppes!), great beer, live music, and easy access to amazing hiking/cycling along the Great Allegheny Passage -- all within a short walk of The Knit Inn. Our room was comfy, we liked the vintage decor, kitchen had everything you need, everything was clean and fresh--and Jennie gave us helpful suggestions -- including the Walking Tour Map of Frostburg. We want to go back and do things we didn't get to do this time -- (Tracks and Yaks!) - and we will make sure we can get a room at the Knit Inn again.

There’s nothing in Cumberland like the cottage! It’s where I’ve been going to write my novel and it’s the perfect location for me and my dog! We absolutely love it there!!!

Rachelle was an incredible host. Her home is so beautiful and it was a joy to stay there! She also went above and beyond to help us get a can opener on Thanksgiving day so that we could have cranberry sauce. Thank you for giving our family such a wonderful Thanksgiving memory!

It was a great cabin stay for getting away with the significant other on Valentine’s Day!!

This house was my favorite by far!!! There is so much to look at with the quirky, eclectic art! The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable! The yard was perfect for our dogs! I will definitely be back! We played games for hours. We cooked meals. We never turned on the TV. This is our new go-to for that area!

We came out from Vegas for a week to spend time with family. This property was perfect for what we needed and centrally located to the various family members we were visiting. We had a couple small issues but the response time and resolution was incredibly quick! I would definitely stay here again!

We had such a great time during our stay at Love's house. The house is very close to downtown and everything else. The house is very well maintained and super clean. Big space for our kids to play. Three bedrooms are totally enough for our big family. The two biggest highlights and surprises of our stay are: 1. The house has a nicely fenced backyard, which is perfect for our dog to have enough outdoor time during our busy travel schedule. 2. Love is such a wonderful host! She is very enthusiastic to assist us in every possible way. She gave us detailed recommendations on indoor activities in the cold days. She responds right away. And she even brought some small toys for our young kids! Kids are thrilled! Thank you! In all, its a wonderful home and wonderful host. I would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to Cumberland.

We found the space on Race to be just what we needed for the motivation to get up and go to our daily bluegrass festival at the fairgrounds. If you needed something last minute, the Dollar Tree was a quick walk down the hill. The kitchen was perfect for morning coffee and eating routines. The couches were comfortable and the WiFi worked fine. All in all, this was a good location to suit our needs.

My stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. The location was convenient, with easy access to local attractions, and the amenities provided made me feel right at home. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay and would definitely book again in the future!

We were coming a day after a snow storm and the power was out. She let us know the moment she knew the power was out. She kept us informed that it should be back on by checkin time but could not guarantee it due to being out of her control. Fortunately the power was on for us. Great communication!

We thought this home was even nicer than the pictures. 10/10 What a great find. The Fern was the perfect balance for our needs. So quiet and relaxing and if you are like me and work all the time and want to get away this place is for you. This cabin has a multi-screen desk set up and VERY good internet (NO STARLINK). We were super thankful for the provided firewood (Great Fireplace). We stayed 10 days and went through so much of it. Both my wife and I appreciated all the small details about this home. We have 2 Dogs that thoroughly enjoyed inspecting the whole property and more. I wish the weather was nicer so we could have enjoyed the deck and the screened-in area. We will be coming back to check them out. The Grill was in Good condition :) My Wife enjoyed the large dining table making it easy to puzzle and game but still have room to eat. 3 nitpicks (personal opinion) The Beds were a bit firm for our liking, I thought the TV could use a soundbar and the closest stores were 15+ mins.

Moonbase is a very unique location. Beautiful views and the feel of tent camping but with a very comfortable bed to sleep in instead of on the hard ground. John was a great host, was proactive in providing plenty of information about the site and quick to answer any questions I had. I would recommend this site to anyone who wants to enjoy more of an outdoors experience and I look forward to staying again sometime myself.

The pictures really don't do it justice! The shack was spacious and has everything you need for a nice stay. There was a nice sitting area outside with a grill too! The hosts were kind and welcoming, and accommodating for our late arrival. The bathroom was a bit far but they're working on installing one closer! The fall views in the area were beautiful, and it was remote enough to stargaze!

This was our very first AirBnB stay for our 1 year wedding anniversary and Maureen and Matt set the bar high! We were searching for a quiet, peaceful cabin with a hot tub and great view. This cabin delivered everything and more. Maureen thought of every detail, from the cool instruments throughout to play, to the expansive record collection, even leaving a beautiful sketch of a bird for us to find on the picturesque enclosed porch. We watched birds fly over the mountains with the supplied binoculars, spent a relaxing night under the string lights watching the stars in the hot tub, and planned our next years goals together while playing connect 4 and enjoying our wedding cake in the living room. The cabin was super clean and well equipped. We forgot a few things and to our delight, were able to find substitutes easily. We ventured into Berkeley Springs for a coffee and it was such a cute town. Absolutely perfect weekend. Thank you!

We had the best time! We had everything we needed besides food. The same goes for our dog. Dog bowls were even provided for her. Every aspect of the place was well thought out. We were happy to find binoculars, bc we always forget ours. We saw several ducks, geese and an eagle. The surroundings were quiet and peaceful. It was a beautiful place inside and out. Our favorite spot was sitting by the wood stove in the comfy chairs next to the sliding doors to the top deck. The view of the Cacapon River was breathtaking. We felt right at home. We were lucky and had decent enough weather to enjoy our coffee on the deck. Communication was excellent before and during our stay. Highly recommend!

Susan’s home was immaculate - the house was even more beautiful and more private than the pictures — truly a mountain escape! We had a little difficulty with the garage code upon arrival, but Susan was immediately available and helped us get right into the house. We were thrilled with the quiet privacy, beautiful mountain surroundings, and the gorgeous interior. We loved the ability to run the wood stove on the colder nights (it even snowed the first evening we were there), the hot tub overlooking a rocky outcrop, and the pool table downstairs. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and more. Berkeley Springs was a little further than I initially anticipated, but getting there was an easy drive down a main road. Susan helped us with recommendations for things to do, since the weather didn’t cooperate with our original plans to hike. Be aware that the road to the house is a long mountain road and a little rough in the winter.

We had the best time! I booked this place for a getaway for my husband’s birthday and we loved it! The place was great, the hot tub was amazing and we enjoyed so much. Can’t wait to be back!

I don’t even know where to begin with this review, there are just so many incredible things to say! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the cabin is truly everything you could ever dream of for a perfect mountain getaway. We originally planned to spend New Year’s here, but we loved it so much that we ended up extending our stay for two extra days. As if the trip wasn’t magical enough, we were lucky to experience the beauty of snowfall atop the mountain, it was like something out of a postcard. Then there’s Debbie, she was an absolute gem! So accommodating and genuinely helpful with every little thing we needed, making the entire experience even more memorable. This place is a slice of heaven, I highly recommend to all!

So thankful to spend NYE in such a serene atmosphere at the cabin, complete with all the amenities one could hope for! Highly recommend for anyone seeking a comfortable stay near Cacapon!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at Luke’s place! The layout is amazing, and the highlight was the outdoor space, particularly the hot tub and the fire pit. Also, the beds were extremely comfy!
