Jim and Jo Ellen were responsive hosts. Jim led us back to the cabin and oriented us to the space. The cabin has everything we needed and an AMAZING view. Highly recommend booking a stay if you are in the area.

We had a wonderful time, in the farm house. Peaceful and spacious. Easy come and go. Very clean and uncluttered. Just enough decor. Very lovely time. Will be back.

Great house on a peacful farm, with lots of room to walk the dogs. Close to Elk National Forest and a short drive to Emporium for supplies. Katie is very responsive and helpful, she made sure we had everything we needed in the house and loaned us something that we had forgot. This is a great location for a Potter County getaway, we hope to stay here again one day.

I've stayed at 5+ Airbnb's in multiple locations and all have been good to very good. I TRULY mean it when I say that Donna and Wayne are the best renters I have stayed with and go WAY above and beyond. One is greeted with baked goods on the counter and in the refrigerator. There are notes and amenities throughout the dwelling to ease your stay. I have stayed in both of their rentals multiple times and I still find things I probably missed during previous stays, new additions and many improvements. At this point, we go just to stay there as much as Dickens. I can't recommend this place more.

Had a great time at the Crow’s Nest! We were able to have a nice weekend with our pups. A lot of space for them to run outside and enjoyed the snow. Susan and Fred were helpful with any questions we had would totally recommend staying at the Crow’s Nest.

Patti was very friendly and personable. Her accommodations were really more than we expected. We were in the area visiting family so we did not use the kitchen other than for drinks but she had it fully stocked with all types of condiments, coffees and teas. She is there to please all. We are planning on staying with her again without a doubt. We have never stated in as nice a place. We loved it and hope the next time to be able to stay longer. we loved our stay at Brenda's. Spacious, clean, and cozy and we enjoyed being able to have a fire going on chilly evenings. the sunsets were immaculate and we loved seeing the neighbor's animals (cows, mini horses, etc) roam while enjoying a great view. Brenda was an absolute pleasure to be around and is very friendly. I felt very welcomed and comfortable here, and me and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed here as we were waiting to close on a home we are buying nearby. we had actually left two airbnbs right before finding Brenda's (one because of a bad experience and the other because of issues with the house). We were so relieved with our stay at Brenda's. It is easy to see that she takes good care of the rentals and land and definitely takes good care of visitors. I highly recommend anyone to stay!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Black Bear Hollow! The cabin is incredibly cozy and had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We picked the location because we wanted to spend our anniversary weekend someplace peaceful and quiet and that is exactly what we got here. We were very impressed with how clean and well kept the cabin and property are, in our opinion the photos do not do it justice. My favorite thing about it was enjoying the sunrise from the beautiful deck. My husband's favorite thing was the amazing view of the stars at night. We are avid hikers so we also loved how close it is located to the state park and the PA Grand Canyon. David is a fantastic host and was easily reachable throughout our stay. We love the cabin so much we already booked to go back in the fall!

Bethany’s Airbnb felt like home! It was perfect for a weekend getaway. She was also very accommodating and sweet. I would definitely rebook if I find myself wanting a break from the city!

Timothy's place is as described - a working farm with animals and wild life. It's very quiet, secluded, and peaceful. Timothy and Lana are very spiritual and delightful people.

It was a pleasure to work with Kristina and rent her cabin. She was very responsive to my messages. The cabin was very cozy especially with the wood burner. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Very picturesque, breathtaking views! Most peaceful place I’ve stayed. This home was beyond cozy and relaxing. Beautiful sunroom with hot tub. Extremely well stocked from linens and towels to kitchen amenities. The beds were so comfortable and we loved the reclining furniture with lumbar support!!! Sue by far exceeded our expectations as a host! Very communicative and responsive, gave excellent directions and recommendations! We went to The Foxburg Winery, ate dinner at The Allegheny Grille, and got take out from McBrides. All three of these places were recommended by the host and were great! Relaxing with a glass of wine in front of the fireplace was so comforting. Our only regret was being too lazy to use the firepit because we were just too relaxed. We can not wait to return soon! Hands down a favorite so far!! Best quick weekend sisters trip to just relax!!

We were up in the area for a family funeral and found Michelle’s place! Cleanliness is an important factor and Michelle’s place did not disappoint! From the bedding to the towels to the extra blankets everything smelled clean and fresh! Everything we needed was available in the house from toiletries to kitchenware! Lastly, the sheep farm is awesome! Sheep in the pasture right outside your front window. Michelle shared her passion of being a sheep farmer with us by letting myself, my wife and my 2 boys as well as my sister in laws and niece and nephews hand feed the sheep in the barn and pastures! It was an awesome experience and my kids are already planning to come back! It was a highlight for us all! Thanks, Michelle!

What a wonderful place!!! It’s so peaceful and an our delight…. Erica and John are true hosts and such awesome people … we will be back and highly recommend this treehouse experience to anyone who loves the outdoors!!

Bar far the best we’ve stayed at. Breakfast was incredible. Jeanette and Bill were so informative and hospitable. I cannot say enough good things.

We had a great stay. We were able to use the house for our family for a wedding weekend and it was nice to have enough space for kids and family for the entire weekend. The space is exactly as described.

Outside: Cabin 1 is tucked in far enough from the "main" road, and looks out onto a field, which was snow covered during our visit. The number of stars visible on a clear night is awe inspiring. The closest neighbors are the winery and Cabin 2, a good distance away on each side. Inside: There was no visible dust on the ceiling fan blades, which in addition to being a pet peeve of mine, is also usually a dead giveaway about the overall cleanliness of a rental. But with its clean fan blades and spotless interior, Cabin 1 was without a doubt one of the cleanest -- probably **the** cleanest -- AirBnB rental I've ever had. Seriously, it was spotless. As other reviewers have stated, the kitchen is well-stocked. The heat works great in the winter, it was between 5 - 19 degrees outside, but nice and warm inside during our stay. We were very happy to be able to bring our dog, who felt right at home, too. I don't have any complaints. I would definitely stay in Shelly's cabin again.

Awesome place!! Beautiful inside and out, exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the location is peaceful and quiet while still being just a short drive away from groceries/food places/necessities. A++

This is a perfect getaway. This is my 3rd time staying here for a reason. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of pots and pans and anything you would need to prepare a meal. The games upstairs and downstairs keeps the kids and adults busy. This is a very cozy and welcoming cabin I highly recommend!

We had the most wonderful stay at this rustic farmhouse! Nestled on a beautiful farm, it was the perfect blend of peaceful countryside living with the convenience of being just a short drive from Pittsburgh. Such a charming house with beautiful views of the countryside! Extremely clean as well! We enjoyed waking up to nature, sipping coffee on the porch, and exploring the area. Whether you're looking to relax or venture into Pittsburgh, this place offers the best of both worlds. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway with easy access to the city!
