I really don’t know where to start with all the joys of this experience. From the moment you pull into the covered, and paved outdoor park and play area, you know it’s different. Jackie is not a robot hosting you in a cookie cutter home. She is someone who really knows the area and what you need to have the most relaxing stay. You have everything you need. I can’t tell you how many times, my husband and I would look at each other and say, “OMG!, it has this or it has that!” The saloon and generous welcome gift is something I never experienced renting a home. The home is very comfortable with views that immediately set your soul at ease. The outdoor space is where we spent 80% of our time. From the beach to the porch, you have every luxury you need to unwind and reconnect in the salty breeze. Sunrise and sunset photos are stunning. The best part is that my dog Mallie, who is a member of our family, was not only permitted but spoiled with amenities just for her. You deserve to book it.

we had a great stay, and really loved the fact that we were on the water. we caught multiple fish off of the dock. it's not a very big place but it was perfect for us two and the dogs. we will definitely be staying again.

The house is seconds away from fishing. The house was clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout. Molly always got back to me when I had a questions.

The setting was beautiful, with the surrounding trees and plants enveloping the bungalow for an even more private feel. The view and beach were amazing (outside and in)! There was hardly anyone on the beach. It can get windy at times. The bungalow was cozy, cute and well thought out. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. Loved our stay. We will miss seeing the ocean waves, birds and beach. One day we saw dolphins. We would love to go back!

It was a memorable Thanksgiving. We were able to travel to Tallahassee with ease for UF vs. FSU to cheer for a house divided. Beautiful setting and the dog loved not having to be on a leash. The dock provided a magnificent sunrise location.

This slice of paradise was just what we needed! The perfect, cozy cottage was just like it looked and was fully equipped. The deck was a haven! Coffee in the morning, drinks at night. Sunsets too beautiful to describe! We walked to Mashes Sands Beach. My husband fished, our 2 dogs played, and I relaxed on what is truly the remarkable, unspoiled, nature coast. Host was great, checked in and made sure we were settled. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to come back!

Spent two months at Drift Away. The condo is very large/spacious, clean and centrally located in Carrabelle. Michelle was very helpful during our stay. While visiting I suggest St. Port Joe and the town of Appalachiacola. We spent time at Harry’s Bar and found the locals charming. Morning Bite for breakfast was a regular stop for us! Definitely recommend Drift Away!

Beautiful home, peaceful dock and wonderful wrap around porch to relax on. better than the pictures. everything you could need to cook a nice meal. Basketball hoop for endless entertainment, and the beach across the road was like a dream. Perfect place to stay.

Truly enjoyed our stay at Tommy’s place, check in was as simple as it can get. The rooms were very clean and gave an incredible view into the bay. Definitely will be staying here again for our future fishing trips, thanks Tommy!!!

We had a wonderful time at Julio‘s condo. It was quite spacious and perfect for a couple. It was very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. I was just a short distance from the beach and on the quiet end of the island.

Stayed here last year. Very pleased with the quality of the furnishings etc. If I had any advice I would say they could provide a few household items like plastic wrap and storage containers but these are really just quibbles. Other than that I appreciate the effort to provide a quality experience.

Wonderful get away. Cozy home on canal. Super close to a beautiful boat ramp and plenty of space to turn and park double axle trailer for 25’ boat. Easy to trailer nightly. Minutes to fishing and scalloping. House was clean and felt like home. The pool was amazing after hot day fishing. Amazing sunrise and sunsets. Hosts always respond almost immediately.

We had a great stay! Nice pool and hot tub area. Keep in mind this is a camper so your shower should be quick or you might run out of hot water. However, it was no issue for us. We rented the golf cart and that proved to be very useful! Highly recommend The Blue Parrot for a wonderful meal on the beach☀️

Great place to stay! Host is very responsive, helpful and accommodating. Well appointed, clean condo in a great location-just a quick walk to shops and restaurants. Beautiful views and so peaceful. I have been to Destin and to the Outer Banks and I have never seen anything so beautiful. This was my 70 year old mom’s first time to see the ocean and it could not have been better. She could sit on the screened porch and drift away with the tide. If you are looking for bigger waves, it’s not your place. There’s a sandbar and tide pools. I want to bring the grandkids. It will be perfect. Certain times of day there a green flies if the breeze isn’t blowing in. No big deal for us because we sat on the screened porch and watched the dolphins and birds. So many birds. You are going to have a 15 minute drive to the first restaurants and stores. This isn’t going to be a tourist destination. This is an escape to paradise on earth.

Awesome beach house with beautiful sunrises. Family enjoyed surf fishing and caught most fish around 9pm each evening when tide came in to include sharks. Grandson loved watching the hermit crabs and the shallow areas are perfect for little ones to play in. One of the best things is it's very private with no neighbors beside you so we had beach to ourselves. Would love to visit again!

I have stayed in Connie’s home several times because it is so perfect. I have done beach vacations for forty years and this home, location, beautiful landscaping, beautiful decorative atmosphere makes it my favorite home in which to stay. I’ll visit as long as possible.

Such a wonderful stay!!! The house and its amenities were perfect. The information notebook as soon as you check in is SO well thought out! Honestly, any question you could ask in answered there. Take advantage of the plethora of board games, books and cozy up on the couch while enjoying the crackling of the indoor wood burning fire. We enjoyed the easy access to the bayou on the beautiful dock and kayaked to the point of the beach just around the corner! We caught crabs and redfish off the dock. When the kids needed a change of pace, we went down the road to Apalachicola and enjoyed the shopping while the guys enjoyed the local brewery. The hosts are wonderful! They really thought of everything to make this house turn-key to a wonderful, wholesome family good time! The kids and adults alike can’t wait to go back! 5/5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

The view off the top balcony was just wonderful! We loved the homey feel of everything. It's a little bit of a drive to St. George Island, but the beaches and access are great! Only $5 to get on the state park section which was worth it for us. There are a lot of great little shops in the surrounding towns. Apalachicola was our favorite for coffee and pastries, fresh shrimp and stores. We had a wonderful time and my family enjoyed the stay tremendously!

This place was absolutely breathtaking. We have never been to this part of the gulf and were amazed by the peaceful nature of the area. We loved hanging out at Bald Point Park, eating at Trident (a must!), and watching the dolphins from the beach. It’s amazing how close they come to shore. I was able to do my ice baths in the ocean for the first time since the water was so cold. Amazing! One thing I liked best about our stay was how you can just feel the warmth of the family who owns the home. You can tell they put a lot of effort into maintaining the home and keeping it in great condition. Also, this place is HUGE! So much space for everyone to have their own little hang out spots. We brought two teenagers and my mom (75th bday!) and they all had a great time exploring the space and surrounding area. Nice to know we can bring a few more with us next time.

Very responsive and I enjoyed staying here we fished on the dock and had an absolute blast!
