Das Casa Laranja liegt innerhalb des Praya D‘El Rey Resorts mit drei gut erreichbaren Golfplätzen (Praya D‘El Rey, West Cliffs uns Royal Obidos). Die ruhige Anlage punktet mit dörflichem Charakter, einer wunderbaren Küste und Strandanschnitten sowie unberührter Natur. Das Haus selber verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten wie Pool sowie mehrere Bade- und Schlafzimmer und ist vollwertig mit Kochutensilien, Waschmaschine und sogar einem Grill ausgestattet. Bei unserer Ankunft war alles perfekt vorbereitet und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit Jo-Anne war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und wir haben innerhalb kürzester Zeit die Infos bekommen, die wir brauchten. Einmal pro Woche kommt Housekeeping vorbei, was den Aufenthalt nochmals aufgewertet hat. Wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt und über Neujahr eine schöne Woche hier verbracht.

After a week of hotel stays it was so nice to decompress in a home and do laundry! It was just the 2 of us and the space was much more than enough. A bigger party would be very comfortable. Appreciated the welcome email which included instructions on how to use all the appliances. Request- add in a true American coffee maker. The fact that the home is completely updated added to our comfort level. There are great spaces to relax and we enjoyed what the home offered and loved the showers. This location in Central Portugal is in a sleepy hood. There is a corner market but it doesn’t offer much. Arriving late, we were able to get a few essentials for our first morning such as milk & bananas. The 2 towns we decided to day trip to were Coimbra & Aveiro. Both are approximately 1 hour away. While it was a bit farther than I hoped, it was a nice chance to see the countryside & the A17 is so easy to drive. We were quite impressed with the freeways. Would consider a return with more guests!

Everything went amazingly well during our stay. The house is wonderful and Lidia's super friendly... 10 out of 10!!!

Sara war sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Sie hat mir zu Beginn noch (unaufgefordert) eine zusätzliche Ladung Briketts vorbeigebracht, mir persönliche Empfehlungen der Region gegeben und mich durch die Wohnung geführt. War alles wie beschrieben und den Bildern entsprechend.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Joao’s place in Montargil! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a thorough orientation that made everything easy and stress-free. The home is beautifully organized, with everything you need right at your fingertips. The bedrooms are comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the overall atmosphere is peaceful and private, with no close neighbors—just the beauty of nature all around. The highlight? The breathtaking lake view! Whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee or an evening barbecue, the scenery is simply stunning. Plus, the location is ideal—close to amenities while still feeling like a secluded retreat. Montargil itself is a charming town, adding to the overall experience. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with gorgeous views and a well-equipped home, this is the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

Wir (2 Erw. , 3 Kinder) haben uns in der Unterkunft von Luis sehr wohl gefühlt. Luis war super nett und wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet (Backofen, ausreichend Töpfe und Geschirr). Wir haben in den Betten gut geschlafen und bei den etwas kühlen Nächten haben mobile, elektrische Heizungen ausreichend geholfen. Die Dachterrasse ist sehr groß, mit Blick aufs Meer und mit der Möglichkeit zu grillen. Es gibt auch Spiele für Indoor und den Strand. Die Umgebung ist eine reine Wohngegend, aber innerhalb von 10 min ist man zu Fuß in der Innenstadt von Ericeira oder aber bei großen Supermärkten. Außerdem gibt es schnelles Wifi. Den Pool der Wohnanlage haben wir nicht benutzt, daher können wir dazu nichts sagen. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Danke lieber Luis & Familie und Grüße aus Berlin
