We spoke to Janice a few times whilst we were at the cottage. Janice was lovely, extra friendly and very accommodating. We’ve visited previously and will be back very soon.

This house is in an excellent location, with a supermarket nearby and a beautiful green field just across the road, perfect for enjoying stunning sunrises and sunsets. We spent a wonderful Chinese New Year here, and it truly felt like home. The décor is stylish and cosy, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The facilities are excellent, especially the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking effortless with just our own ingredients. Our host, Rosaline, was incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to assist, ensuring a smooth and stress-free stay. Her thoughtfulness made our experience even better. We would love to stay here again and highly recommend it!

Excellent location within walking distance of the beach, good restaurants and amenities. The accommodation was clean (bearing in mind it's dog friendly) and looked newly decorated. The only downside was the heating, as it was very cold and the settings meant it took a long time to get warm. It could have been because it hadn't been occupied for a while and it was February, but found I was unable to leave my dog downstairs, on a tiled floor all night without any heating on. A setting of 12 degrees would have been enough.

Paul’s place in Amble was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Northumbria. The property is located in a peaceful residential estate within walking distance of the town centre and Harbour Village. On site parking, dog-friendly gardens and spotlessly clean, we loved everything that this property had to offer and we look forward to a return visit. Amble is a fabulous place. Great pubs, plenty of shops for the essentials and some great restaurants - especially The Old Boathouse where we enjoyed the best seafood platter that we have ever had.

Fantastic place to stay! Plenty of room for an extended family and easy access to the lovely Seahouses and further afield! Would definitely recommend Poppys place for a visit, we are already talking about going back.

our family had a lovely four nights here over New Year. We made good use of the kids toys and board games. Kids loved the quirky bunk beds. Had a nice breakfast and dinner down in the town, and also a wonderful pizza takeaway. Made several great day trips to Alnwick, Simonside forest and Bamburgh castle. A lovely relaxing home, thank you very much to the hosts 💛

had a brilliant stay, spacious allowing multi-generational family to enjoy a trip away together without feeling cramped or crowded. house was lovely, well stocked kitchen for cooking, lots of entertainment options provided and loved the wood fires.

Mark answered my messages promptly. Safe private parking space ….. lovely quiet location. Everything catered for to enable us to enjoy our stay . The apartment is spacious and even catered for my young gsons visit as he discovered some toys . We have family in the village so we already knew what a beautiful location we were going to stay at . Lots of lovely walks and was great to be able to walk to the station and go into the city on the train.

Very friendly host who equipped the flat with food for the first night. Much appreciated by us who were travelling in from abroad. Quiet neighbourhood suitable for a weekend break with kids in tow.

Tom was probably one of the best hosts we have had. Really informative and helpful without being over the top. Whenever we needed anything, he was quick to respond. Have great information on the area and even offered us a lift! Honestly, cannot fault him. Annexe was beautiful and clean, well maintained. Gorgeous area, lovely local pubs and the hot tub was filled with fresh water. Fantastic experience. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay at Ken’s place in Kelso. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. The location is very handy for Kelso square and all your amenities, co-op, Chinese take away and cute cafes and shops.

Norman and Anne were fantastic hosts; truly deserving their superhost status. Excellent communication throughout. A warm, friendly Northern welcome. Apartment exactly as described and a traditional, cosy little gem. Spotlessly clean, parking on drive, quiet surroundings and a good base for our visit to the North-East. A home from home with everything you need to cook if staying in. Great value for money. Would highly recommend and will be 1st choice for any future visits up North.

What a great find! The Nest was centrally located and was a perfect for our stay in Berwick-upon-Tweed. The flat was spotless and has all the amenities you would need. The bed was super comfortable and having a smart TV was great! Lesley is a great host, really helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and would not hesitate to book again if we were to return to Berwick.

Exactly as described, great location close to all amenities. Could have sat and looked at the view for days. Abi was a great host providing clear instructions, everything was ready for us and the bottle of fizz and chocolates was very welcome.

Absolutely great place to stay with 2 12 year old boys. Brilliant location and so much to do - Caroline gave us some fab recommendations. The flat was in a perfect location - close to the beach and loads of places to eat. The boys loved the bunk beds and I was impressed with the size of the rooms. Kitchen well equipped if you wanted to cook but we ate out for most meals. The bathroom is a wet room - so take crocs for using the toilet after a shower to avoid wet feet - this was not a problem for us at all and the shower was lovely and warm. Lots of little touches were great, biscuits and tea and coffee, toilet roll, cleaning products so if you arrived late no problem - also a shop over the road. Highly recommend as a lovely downstairs flat with parking near the sea - perfect.

Fantastic place to stay for a couple and our border collie with great facilities, friendly and very helpful hosts in Diane & Paul. Couldn’t wish for better so welcoming and obliging. Easy access to lovely beach and coastal path walks either up to Amble and Warkworth or Druridge Bay and Country Park, or Alnwick and Alnmouth only a short drive away. So a great central spot to explore both coastal or inland attractions and something for everyone.

We had a lovely stay. The flat was just as described. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were able to walk easily into Jesmond and also into Newcastle. Thank you for having us.

Have just returned from a fantastic stay at Lisa and Gavin’s place. They were great hosts - really helpful and very responsive. Their place was perfect for us, a real home away from home and our daughter LOVED the bunk beds! It’s great value for money and I couldn’t recommend it more highly - we will definitely be back!

We had a great 3 night stay, to celebrate a late Christmas with my parents who live in Blyth. The apartment is gorgous, so well decorated and furnished. There was a lovely Christmas tree to greet us too. We arrived around 9.30 pm, found the key in the front lockbox and unloaded up the front stairs. Overall its a great place to stay, the only thing that would stop us staying again is our elderly dog (he's 15) is a bit too doddery for the stairs. The baby gate was a great feature, and meant we had no worries about him going down on his own. The internal stairs lead to the front door just over the road from an amazing park which was perfect for the dogs. Kids would love it too, I grew up in Blyth, such happy memories of Ridley Park!
