We had a wonderful time, the home meet all our expectations. It was fun seeing family and getting to host dinner for everyone here in this home. We hope to come back in the future.

We stayed at Matthew's place for a long weekend in February and the house was nice and warm when we arrived. The house was clean, comfortable and perfect for us and our two dogs, and the fenced in backyard was ideal. We had a question when we arrived and Matthew called us immediately with an answer. We stayed in the bedroom on the main floor and the mattress was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on! We enjoyed walking to the downtown and getting dinner and drinks. Matthew was a great host, very professional...he even offered us to stay an extra day if we needed as a winter storm blew in the morning we were leaving. We would definitely stay at Matthew's again.

The photos do not do the property justice. It was extremely beautiful and peaceful and perfect for our group. The nature at night was amazing. I just wish we could have stayed for more than just a couple hours. Easy to find, accurate description, lovely place.

This place was beautifully kept! The host had everything we needed and everything was clean. The property is beautiful and quiet. My children and I all enjoyed our time here and we look forward to planning more trips in the other seasons to enjoy the beautiful landscape.

Fantastic view. Peaceful. Quiet and having use of the lake toys was an added bonus!! Very clean and well stocked kitchens. Central Air was nice for sleeping. We were able to use the dock for our boat and even caught some nice walleye for supper. I would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you Danielle for the use of your place.

The peace and quiet of Beaver Lake exceeded our expectations. Awesome place to get away for a weekend. The house had more than enough space and everything was in perfect order. Would not hesitate to recommend this spot for an up-north getaway!

Right on the water, which is exactly what we wanted. We LOVED the sun room and spent most of our time there just enjoying the view of Lake Huron. Even in early December, it was beautiful to look out at the lake and decompress from our regular lives. We came here for a weekend anniversary trip and it was a lovely getaway.

This was our second stay here and it was as pleasant as I remember it from the last time. Everything was great. The house has all the basic needs plus more. I love that they have canoes for the guests' to use and the lake location is perfect. Thanks again for a great stay!

This was our second time staying at this location and everything was excellent once again. There was ample room for our family of 6 and the home is equipped with so many fun activities for everyone. We all truly enjoyed every minute here. It feels like a home away from home and we love everything about it! Everything was extremely clean and Pete is a fantastic host. We will definitely be back!

I wish I could put into words how amazing this stay was! There were so many activities to do here, it was insane! I wish we had more time to enjoy them. It was very peaceful, kayaking down the river was a beautiful experience (definitely recommend water shoes, rocky bottom). They are also very accommodating for pets or for babies, have extra things just in case you forget something. 100000/10 would recommend to anyone!

We had a great stay at Mike's cottage. The cottage was clean and matched the posted photos exactly. We were very comfortable during out stay and enjoyed the view of the lake, especially when it was warm enough to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. We very much appreciated Mike having a guest logon to a few basic streaming services that we could use. Really enjoyed the Depot restaurant and Northland Market at the corner of Beaver Lake Rd. where you turn to get to the lake/cottage., very convenient. Freshly made pies and cookies! Had the good fortune to see the aurora borealis late at night one evening, first time for us to see the lights, just added to the enjoyment of our vacation. Overall a great, comfortable stay, easy check in and check out, quiet location with a great view and met some local rabbits and deer. Looking forward to coming back to Mike's cottage when we come back to that area. Thanks for everything Mike!

We had a wonderful time staying here. In the perfect tucked away spot, the pond is very clean and beautiful and feels completely off the grid! The cabin is close enough to both Roger's City and Alpena that we made trips for dinner and to play some golf. Overall, a wonderful experience that made our up north getaway special!

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin! It was beautifully decorated with updated amenities that made it feel extremely cozy! More so, it was extremely clean! However, it is not as secluded as the pictures may look. There are close neighbors on both sides of the cabin as well as the rest of the road. This is not the hosts fault, just a nuance of us not being familiar with the area.
