We had a wonderful time, the home meet all our expectations. It was fun seeing family and getting to host dinner for everyone here in this home. We hope to come back in the future.

Wonderful location and great responsive host. You can walk across the street to a beach or walk a few blocks to the park and town. It was family friendly with great internet so you can easily stay for a few days or a month! A little road noise in the bedrooms but it slows at a reasonable hour. Will definitely stay again!

Sarah was super responsive, kind, and easy to work with during our unexpected trip to Alpena. The home was beautiful, warm and inviting. My family and I really enjoyed getting together and catching up in the family room that was spacious and with coziest seating. But special thank you to the host, Sarah, who was flexible, accommodating, and so understanding of the chaos that my family emergency brought. You are very much appreciated! Thank you for your hospitality!

All I can say is AMAZING!!! The house was spotless!! There was everything you could think of already there, from extra bedding, toiletries, fans, kitchen supplies!! The setting was beautiful! Very quiet and very comfortable. Hosts were very friendly and responsive to answer any questions! Would definitely recommend for a family stay!

Lots of fun to be had at Linda’s establishment. We enjoyed the fire pit and the WELL stocked wood to accommodate our camp fire😊

This was a great stay for us. The best stocked Airbnb that I’ve stayed at. Ample supplies in the cabinets. The place was relaxing and peaceful with beautiful views of the lake! We floated and used the dock almost every day. Dogs were allowed which is hard to find so that was a great bonus! We had some visitors stop by for a couple of days and they fished the lake and were able to catch some walleye and perch! Overall, a great experience relaxing, peaceful, clean definitely a place I would recommend and come back to!

I can’t say enough about how incredible our stay with Josh was. His place, thoughtfulness and character have blown us away. I had the convenience of my home away from home and when you step out the door, the vacation can start instantly. Whether you’re looking to get away with family or take the dog on a fishing trip, this is the place to be. It’s a remote, private cut out right on the river with the convenience of the city not even five minutes away. If you ever have anything you need or want to find an adventure, Josh was very knowledgeable of the area and happy to recommend fun spots with great response time. We could truly not ask for better and more welcoming accommodations and can’t wait to make our way back there!

We stayed at Matthew's place for a long weekend in February and the house was nice and warm when we arrived. The house was clean, comfortable and perfect for us and our two dogs, and the fenced in backyard was ideal. We had a question when we arrived and Matthew called us immediately with an answer. We stayed in the bedroom on the main floor and the mattress was one of the most comfortable we've ever slept on! We enjoyed walking to the downtown and getting dinner and drinks. Matthew was a great host, very professional...he even offered us to stay an extra day if we needed as a winter storm blew in the morning we were leaving. We would definitely stay at Matthew's again.

My husband and I spent several days at Buffy's cabin for our anniversary. Her place is in a truly peaceful and beautiful setting. We had everything we needed, and felt very cozy sitting by the fire, especially while it stormed outside.

The house is great, communication was great. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay--great location, a block from the beach and walkable to restaurants. Loved how close it was to downtown Alpena. Loved the house; had everything we needed. Love the St. Pat's decorations too! Kiegan was also very responsive to messages.

I wish I could put into words how amazing this stay was! There were so many activities to do here, it was insane! I wish we had more time to enjoy them. It was very peaceful, kayaking down the river was a beautiful experience (definitely recommend water shoes, rocky bottom). They are also very accommodating for pets or for babies, have extra things just in case you forget something. 100000/10 would recommend to anyone!

We had a wonderful time staying here. In the perfect tucked away spot, the pond is very clean and beautiful and feels completely off the grid! The cabin is close enough to both Roger's City and Alpena that we made trips for dinner and to play some golf. Overall, a wonderful experience that made our up north getaway special!
