I have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and this was the best experience ever. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to spend time here with my kids and get to know Jean and Dave. Their log home is beautiful, soulful, and a marvel of engineering. The views of the meadow and surrounding peaks are breathtaking. It's also very convenient to Kirkwood. The kids loved riding in the snow cat and t playing with their adorable St. Bernese. The breakfasts were also outstanding--especially the sourdough pancakes with organic strawberries. But the best thing about the experience was Jean and Dave, hosts who really took an interest in their guests and have fostered a welcoming and engaging community of travelers. We hope to get the chance to return soon!

Jean and Dave were very kind and hospitable. They have a beautiful home and have put a lot of love into it . Great location , off the path and quite. And there dog Cub is like a cuddling bear

My 7yr old and myself had an unforgettable stay! The house was fantastic and the surrounding is stunningly beautiful. Rooms are super clean and very cozy. Jean and Dave (and their dog Cub) are very friendly and easy to communicate. Plan to come back next snow season with the full family!

This home was beautiful. It was the perfect size for my family. It was only a 15 minute drive from heavenly and a 5 minute drive from the grocery store. The rooms were a lot bigger than I thought. I would absolutely stay here again.

My friends and I just came back from a weekend Tahoe trip. We were a group of six and overall Zach’s place was really nice. It felt like home and spacious for all of us. We already felt the family ambience. The neighborhood is really peaceful and had a nice view from the balcony. We loved the kitchen and atmosphere. We originally had a previous Airbnb booked, but cancelled on us last minute. So we managed to reserve this one and we weren’t disappointed at all. Zach was responsive and gave us clear instructions to everything. For instance, when we had an issue with the toilet upstairs which we managed to fix, but we brought it to his attention. He was respectful and understanding. One thing I would suggest is we ran out of paper towels and couldn’t find anymore. Otherwise, everything was up to our expectations. I would 100% recommend this place as a nice getaway for family/friends trips.

My family and I had the fortunate pleasure of staying at Matt’s beautiful home. Everything was as the way it was listed. His home is a beautiful, well maintained and tidy place which was very easy to find as well. Matt himself was very responsive when we had questions so I really appreciate that as well. Our family rented Fred’s house for a ski trip and we had an amazing time. The space held all of us very well. Hot tub was such a nice thing to come home to after being on the slopes all day. Overall, was a great experience!

This is a spacious cabin in a beautiful spot. We loved being surrounded by snow. It did take 24 hours to warm up though the loft was always very warm. The beds were super comfy - they even had flannels sheets. Lots of room for everyone.
