The location of the apartment is exactly as I had hoped - in a peaceful, quiet area and within a walkable distance to local supermarkets (including Aldi & Lidl). There were a couple of incidents (one of which was totally unforeseeable), but both of these were dealt with immediately by ‘Victoria’ who manages the property for Julien. Victoria was excellent. The only slight negative, as I’m a very light sleeper, was the thinness of the dividing walls. You can hear the neighbours moving around. They are extremely quiet after about 8:00pm, but when the family gets up at 6:45am to get the kids to school, the noise starts. It does, however, go quiet again about an hour later. If you sleep like a log, this won’t be an issue for you. Other than that, the surrounding area is stunning. Access to the North to places such as Lisbon, Nazaré, Peniche is easy (with a hire car). The same applies to Setubal and Sesimbra to the South.

A casa é muito bem localizada, para quem busca uma estadia tranquila e em uma vizinhança silenciosa. Perfeito para caminhadas, passeios de bicicleta ou esportes aquáticos. A casa é muito bem cuidada e tem tudo o que é preciso para uma ótima estadia. Voltaremos com certeza.

Wir haben 5 Tage mit einer Fünfergruppe in Antony's modernem Haus verbracht. Wir waren absolut zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Das Mobiliar ist neuwertig, das Haus gepflegt, es ist alles Notwendige vorhanden. Der Pool ist groß und hat ein Sprungbrett, weshalb die Wassertiefe an einer Seite auf ca. 3m steigt. Das sollte man beachten, wenn Nichtschwimmer dabei sind. In der Nähe gibt es einige Restaurants, wofür man allerdings ein Auto benötigt. Einkaufsläden sind ebenfalls mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Lissabon ist ca. 40 Fahrminuten entfernt und unbedingt einen Besuch wert. Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. :-)

I have to start by mentioning that Florbella was easily the greatest host I've ever had on Airbnb. She went absolutely out of her way to make us feel welcome with little and bigger touches, up to and during our whole stay. She was non intrusive while being fully available and very responsive the whole time. She makes you feel like a treasured guest in her home. This is a lovely home in a beautiful setting (although can feel a bit tight inside for a couple given the space is heavily optimized to fit three couples). This was a deliciously relaxing cozy winter stop for us in the middle of a two week trip in Portugal but I can only imagine what a gem this place becomes in the warmer months. A special mention for the breakfast set up, the outdoor table / breakfast area is spectular and Florbella has a fresh bread / pastries delivered every day in a little box outside the house as well as the veggie garden. Finally do book Tiago for a private dinner if you can, he's a total gem!

We had a fantastic time at Herdade do Montum. The host was super responsive and easy to communicate with. The house is a little gem, very cosy and beautiful, and the surroundings are lovely, very green and quiet. We had both dinner and breakfast at the Herdade, and both were delicious. Highly recommend a stay here for a couple of days to recharge and enjoy a quiet holiday!

To echo all the other reviews, this place is a gem. The views from the living room, patio, and roof are amazing. Obvious love and care went into the restoration of the house, and I enjoyed finding all the cat/fish artwork and fun touches everywhere. Arrival by car and parking was surprisingly easy (there’s no need to squeeze through Peniche’s narrower streets) with ample free public parking less than 2 minutes’ walk away. One thing to bear in mind for winter visitors is that the house is heated by portable space heaters and the downstairs (where the bedrooms and bathroom are) never really heats up. This isn’t a problem really as plenty of blankets are provided and you’ll spend most of your waking time upstairs, which stays toasty warm. Thanks again to Maria for such a lovely stay for me and my dog and also to her friendly neighbor who was so chatty and let me practice my baby Portuguese language skills with him.

If you want a peaceful getaway this is a great choice. Expansive and fairly deserted beach easy walking distance from the unit when we were there in October. I advise bringing groceries with you if you intend to do any cooking. The restaurant choices in Melides are ok. We went into Comporta the first night, a Sunday, mainly because the local restaurants weren't open when we were driving around trying to find somewhere to eat. Luis keeps this place spotless. The inside is spotless. The common area are spotless. Not a leaf or twig anywhere. They obviously take pride in their airbnb endeavor. We wanted a sort of vacation from our vacation and this worked great. One thing to note, there is construction going on a couple houses up the road so there is some noise at times on weekdays. Certainly not all the time. We will likely return.

Pros: + great check-in experience, hospitality + all facilities present and are in fairly good condition + feels that apartment is being held with love + very comfortable flat and disposition for 2+2 + good public transport reach-ability (Cacilhas hub right nearby) Cons (mostly minors): - poor surroundings - moldy washing machine - you will hear everything, bad sound isolation in the house Overall, we're happy with our choice to stay in the Nest, it feels like one of the top places to stay in/near Lisbon.

Great apartment with gorgeous views and a wonderful style in a beautiful old building. I especially appreciated that it had a bathtub - something few listings offered! There were also lovely ways Heloiza went above and beyond - providing clean robes and slippers, a generous wine gift for guests, etc. It rained during our stay, and the apartment did let in the damp quite a bit. This was fine for us, but worth noting, I think, in case it affects others differently. We would be very happy to stay here again!

Nous avons un peu galéré pour comprendre le fonctionnement de la télévision, un petit guide mis à disposition des locataires serait le bienvenu. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement situé sur le golf.

The house was very well located, close to the beach with a parking lot closeby We have enjoyed our time and particularly the barbecue. If you are doing kitesurf it’s a very nice spot, just in front of one of the spots so you can go walking.

Schönes, freistehendes Haus mit einem wunderbaren Obstgarten (Orangen, Kakis, Äpfel, Feigen). Frühstück unter dem Avocadobaum. Gut ausgestattete Küche, wir haben viel gekocht und haben uns gerne dort aufgehalten.

Million dollar view, amazing area and peaceful place to have a great time to enjoy our vacation

Carlos and Ilda were very helpful, we had access to bicycles which unfortunately we didn't use because of the rain. The place is very cozy, the jacuzzi was perfect also in this weather. The yard is beautiful to spend time in, there's also the warm shower which was perfect after the jacuzzi. The kitchen has all you need to cook, including basics like oil, vinegar and spices. Ilda greeted us with fresh bread, a bottle of wine, eggs from her chickens and even some freshly baked pie. Piçarras is a super sleepy little town that normally has a bar open but wasn't working maybe owing to our visit coinciding with Carnaval. Overall great experience and happy to recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and get away from the city.

We had a great stay and would recommend. The house had everything we needed including heating as it was pretty chilly in December! The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was really comfortable and everything was really clean. We really loved staying within the farm and witnessed a goat give birth to two kids which was wonderful. The house is one of a few houses within the farm grounds but our pool was private and we weren’t really aware of any other guests. Quick drive to supermarkets and the beaches of Comporta and Melides were about half an hour away.

Local muito bonito e organizado. De fato é necessário levar todos os itens de consumo (comida e bebida) pois o comércio local fica distante. As recomendações dadas pelo anfitrião foram claras nesse sentido. Recomendo esse local para disfrutar de dias de paz e tranquilidade em uma linda paisagem!

This is a great space in a real out-of-the-way part of Portugal. Tired of big city tourism? Try this property. Tiny villages dot the hills and you get an old world sense of Portugal here. The pool is the real star of the property here (as are Eric's three dogs, one of which lounged with us each morning) as it overlooks he view of the river. We did use the kayaks as well. It is hard to get to them down a very steep hill with ladders and a bit of minor repelling. Not for those with a bad knee or hip. Which gets me to, accessing the apartments, particularly the lower unit, is tricky. Steep, slanting and uneven steps that can be a little slippery. Perhaps not for the elderly. Hint for improvement would be to upgrade the furnishings and kitchenware. The knives couldn't cut an orange.

It was a great stay! Five stars, very quiet, stylish apartment, beautiful landscape, we love the horses and dogs. Service (vegetables, eggs etc.) was wonderful too. Thanks a lot, Celine, Angélica and husband!
