James was good at communicating, and left clear instructions for everything. He also met us on arrival. The bungalow was as per the description and photos (please note that bed 3-twin room has drawer clothes storage but no hanging space). It's clean, light and airy. The bungalow was in a quiet location and yet close to amenities and a short walk to the beach. We had 3 cars between us and were easily able to fit them on the driveway. We would happily return!" Dolphin Retreat was a wonderful place for our family to stay together as we prepared for our son's wedding. The kitchen/dining/lounge area was a great central space and we even spilled out into the garden with its furniture and BBQ in April! The kitchen is well equipped with a big range cooker, ideal for cooking wedding desserts for 70 people! The property was very clean and had everything we needed. There is a Co op about a 4 minute walk away for the supplies we forgot to bring. There is ample parking for 5 or more vehicles. Nina was a great host and answered all our questions.

We had a wonderful stay here, we felt very welcome and after a stressful journey Jo was so kind and got the bungalow ready for us as quickly as possible so we could check in early. It’s such a lovely space, very cozy and well equipped. The views are beautiful and the garden was perfect for the doggies. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, we all slept so well. We had a lovely breakfast basket, treats for the doggies and Jo left me a card for my birthday. It’s a great location to explore, we would highly recommended staying here.

lovely place to stay on a live working farm, all animals are amazing kids and our selves will miss them! hot tub was one of the best we have been in held the heat really well. views from the place are amazing host and family are lovely people too. definitely will be coming back

The cottage is gorgeous and Virginie ensured we had everything we needed for a luxurious and cosy stay. The garden is perfect for a dog, and there are lots of lovely walks on the doorstep!

Lovely location for a family getaway, the hosts were responsive and kindly let us have a later check out on our last day. The decor is a bit old school, but everything was clean and functional, and the ensuites for every room were a big plus. The living and dining space was a highlight, nice and spacious for large meals, although might be worth bringing some of your own kitchen equipment if you plan on cooking a lot! The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, just be prepared to drive to pubs or shops nearby. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Staying in Victoria's home was amazing. It is a beautiful home, perfect for a group setting and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every room matched the pictures and descriptions, and the surrounding area was lovely too. Veronica was extremely responsive and answered all of our queries in a timely manner. I would definitely visit again!

Our stay at Poachers cottage was really wonderful and exactly what we had wanted. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and the cottage was so thoughtfully and beautifully done. The facilities were incredible and we were very lucky to have the pool to ourselves with beautiful weather when we stayed. There was loads for our toddler to do and Adele had any bits we might need for him. I am pretty heavily pregnant and between the pool and the very comfortable beds I had a wonderfully relaxing stay and anytime I needed something, somehow it was already there in the cupboard or in the bedroom. We couldn’t have asked for more. Home made cake and local bits when we arrived and all. Honestly I’ve been so torn on whether to keep this place all to myself but I couldn’t help but rave about my holiday when I got home and have had 3 friends ask for the link to go and stay!
