Highly recommend this lovely house. We had a wonderful stay – Afonso was easy to communicate with and flexible with arrival and departure times. The surrounding area is extremely quiet, and we all slept well. The pool is very tempting and even at the end of October we used it every day for an amazing cold-water dip. The kitchen was well-equipped with utensils, and I took cooking essentials with me. The house is close to Aldi and Apolónia supermarket (which also has a lovely café) - both have a good range of local, international and plant-based food. We had an amazing walk exploring coves and beaches along the coast from Praia de Galé to Praia de Coelha, where there is a lifeguard and a very nice beachside café. We hired a car from Nice Rent and we explored Faro, Ferragudo, Silves, and Loulé. It was our first visit to Portugal and we’d love to return. We would book Villa Alegre again as it suited us so well - the hardest part was leaving!

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour à Casa Conijn ! Isabel s’est toujours montré réactive par message. Nous lui avions demandé si nous pouvions avoir un lit pour bébé et chaise haute, tout était prévu à notre arrivée. Emmanuel est très accueillant, n’hésite pas à vous conseiller pour trouver de bons produits dans la région et se tient toujours disponible. La maison est très bien situé pour passer un moment au calme, reculé des endroits touristiques qui peuvent être bruyants. La voiture est indispensable pour se déplacer, mais tout se trouve à proximité (plages à 5 minutes, supermarché à 5 minutes, …). Encore un grand merci, nous avons passé de bonnes vacances ! À bientôt ! 👋

Florence et JC sont des hôtes adorables! Nous avons été très bien accueillis, Florence a pris le temps de nous expliquer les belles promenades et les beaux restaurants à proximité. Le logement est parfait, cosy, bien décoré et fonctionnel. Le jardin est magnifique. Un Petit coin de paradis. Leur emplacement est idéal pour visiter la côte, la promenade des 7 vallées est splendide et à 7 minutes en voiture du logement. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés, et nous avons déjà envie de revenir!

Das Haus ist ein Kleinod, auf das die Besitzer sehr, sehr stolz sein können. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll und liebevolleingerichtet, man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Sämtlich erdenkliche Equipment ist vorhanden. Die Location ist einfach traumhaft direkt am Meer. Natürlich ist am Strand viel los, da man aber in seinem eigenen Ressort ist, stört das eigentlich nicht. Abends und morgens hat man den Strand für sich alleine. Es war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis hier zu sein.

We immediately felt at home in this beautiful villa! It had absolutely everything we needed for a wonderful and peaceful holiday. It exceeded our expectations and the pool was amazing! The host, Colette ,was extremely nice and helpful. It was the perfect place and I highly recommend it! We hope to come back in the near future.

Before we arrived in Portugal Bernice was incredibly helpful in helping us sort out taxi transfer and supermarket order. She was an amazing host. The house was incredible. The pool was exactly as described and the house is located in an ideal position for the beach at one end and shops at the other she was incredibly helpful especially as we chose to not hire a car. She was always available if we needed anything highly recommend this villa for the perfect family holiday. It really is home from home with everything you’d possibly want for a very comfortable stay from hair straighteners right the way through to food blenders and anything in between. We would definitely consider a second stay.

This is the second year we stay in the same location. We couldn’t be any more happier. Felt very welcome and found everything as it should be!

André, sa famille et tous les employés sont adorables et serviable, ils font chaque jour le maximum pour que vous ne manquiez de rien. Le linge de toilette et et le linge de lit est très appréciable. Les espaces extérieurs formidables. Un coup de coeur pour le Portugal et cette famille extraordinaire.

It was our second time to book this villa and we were extremely happy with all aspects. Very clean and well equipped. There is a restaurant, bar and shop on site. The restaurant and bar were closed for a number of days and the shop was only open for a short time each morning - this is out of the control of the villa owner, but it would have been better for us if they had been open more. Great location close to lots of amenities, restaurants, beaches etc.

Ficamos na charmosa vila de Paderne, com a localização perfeita para quem procura descansar - suficientemente perto de tudo (comércio, praias) mas também suficientemente longe da confusão. As fotos correspondem na integra à casa mas fazem não fazem justiça ao seu charme. Destaque especial para o jardim que, além de enorme, é lindo e tem uma área perfeita para refeições e serões em família. A cozinha está impecávelmente equipada, assim como toda a casa. É uma casa encantadora, uma casa com alma que acolhe a aconchega desde o primeiro instante. Partimos com vontade de regressar! Obrigada Monique!!

I had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage! Though my trip was primarily for work at a nearby location, the peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a mini getaway. The house is impeccably clean, cosy, and fully equipped with everything you could need. The attention to detail is impressive, from the well-stocked kitchen to the thoughtful amenities like air conditioning and a cooler. The location is ideal—not far from the highway, making it easy to explore the Algarve during downtime. In just 20 minutes, you can reach stunning beaches and scenic cliffs, perfect for a quick break or an evening stroll. Despite being part of a small condo with two other houses, it felt very private, and I hardly noticed the neighbours. Communication with the host was seamless and efficient, which made the entire experience even smoother. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat, a base to explore the Algarve, or even a comfortable spot for a working trip like mine, this place is a gem. Highly
