A nossa estadia superou todas as expectativas!!! Desde a atenção do host ao detalhe, o conforto, a qualidade e a propia beleza do espaço. Foram uma série de experiências dentro de uma experiência! A piscina interior é um sonho!! O forno á lenha concretizou as nossas delícias, sentimo-nos em casa, com uma temperatura bastante agradável no interior. Os passeios na zona dos limoeiros são bastante agradáveis, com a surpresa dos póneis. Ser 200% petfriendly, sem qualquer tipo de limitação, foi o plus da estadía. Obrigada e até breve! Where do I even start?! Staying at Maria's Casa do Rio felt like a magical home away from home. Maria and her sweet dogs gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and gave us a beautiful tour of the property with an overview of its history that you should not miss. She was very accommodating to our check-in time and sensitive to our plans during our stay, which were not many. Since we didn't have much planned for our spur-of-the-moment visit, we were delighted when Maria gave us many suggestions of activities on our own as well as ones with her such as a tour around the area, canoeing, hiking, yoga class, massage, cooking together and so much more. The charm and kind embrace by Maria was otherworldly and an experience in itself that we won't ever forget. If you have any reservations on booking your stay here, you shouldn't because you will not regret a single second at Casa do Rio. Every moment during our stay here is one we will treasure, and we'll be back to visit Maria and her Casa.

We had such a peaceful stay at Manuel’s home. The owner was very helpful and responsive when we couldn’t remember how to use some of the appliances :). The home was spotless and was very thoughtfully prepared. We enjoyed the touches like books for reading, cozy blankets for lounging, jenga for the kids to play and robes for every person. Even adorable kid sized robes for the kids. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of sightseeing as well. The home feels luxurious and cozy at the same time and is well situated for adventures to Porto and the surrounding area. We did day trips to Guimares, Porto, Lamego and Amarante. I would recommend this place and would absolutely stay again. Thank you Hugo for all your care and help during our stay. Cheers!

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The view was breathtaking, and the garden was simply beautiful—a peaceful oasis where we could relax and enjoy nature. The house itself was spotless, modern, and incredibly welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Our host was the most wonderful and hospitable person we could have asked for. She greeted us with fresh croissants and wine, making us feel truly special. Every morning, she brought us fresh bread, which was such a thoughtful and delightful touch. This place exceeded all our expectations, and we can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for a perfect getaway with stunning views, exceptional hospitality, and a cozy, modern home, this is the place for you! Highly recommended!

Hostitel byl velmi milý, flexibilní a nápomocný. Předal nám skvělé tipy na zajímavá místa, uvítal nás, nabídl lokální vína a skvělé portské. V ubytování bylo vše potřebné, jen trochu chladno, což se ale v prosinci dalo očekávat. Lokalita je úžasná, určitě doporučuji.

My partner and I spent a few days at Dulce's. The entire property was beautiful, and our little cabin felt very peaceful and private. We enjoyed exploring the property and spending time with their various animals, particularly one of their sweet cats. We were disappointed when our stay was over.

Sítio calmo e maravilhoso! Vista espetacular para as montanhas, piscina top e os animais como ruído de fundo fizeram desta estadia uns dias de sonho. Cabana com todas as comodidades. Muito bom!

A Casa da Flor é um espaço maravilhoso, rodeado por natureza, jardim, tranquilo e com uma vista linda de cortar a respiração sobre o Rio Tâmega, onde se pode relaxar verdadeiramente, bem como caminhar, nadar na piscina ou praticar SUP no rio com toda a segurança. Há imensos recantos confortáveis onde podemos descontrair a contemplar o Rio, a ler, a descansar. O contacto com a Helena foi sempre muito fácil e responsivo. A casa tem o conforto, higiene e tudo o que uma família precisa para estar bem. É um sítio óptimo para se estar com crianças. As visitas do Bruno (um dos cães da casa) fez as delícias dos meus filhos. Recomendo e vou voltar!

Great little house in the middle of the forest (Ranch). Everything in the house looks new and of good quality. Perfect for some days off in contact with nature.

We ended up staying in a different house for 6 people but in the same place. The view was amazing as promised and the house was really well equiped and super comfortable! Out host, Paulo, was always lovely and really quick answering any questions or providing things we might need in the house - I recommend it! I'd only say you should keep in mind that Paulo lives just below the house and has two dogs who sometimes walk around the property.
