We booked this house to hold all of the groomsmen for our wedding! This house had plenty of space! The house itself was absolutely stunning in every way possible. None of the guys wanted to head back to Chattanooga they were truly in love with it! They all went kayaking and cooked us up a nice dinner. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay on the lake. The property has direct access to the water and the reflection of that water at night made the stars brighter. The host was always available for any help at all. She was truly a blessing!!

House was right on the canal to the river. We kayaked to the park and saw manatees. House was very clean and had everything you need.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home! The host was very helpful and responsive. The highlight of our stay was definitely the ability to kayak right out the back door - we paddled out into Mud River Springs and saw manatees absolutely everywhere. It was a magical experience! The yard was peaceful and it was relaxing to sit out with coffee on the deck and watch the wildlife (squirrels, birds, fish). Situated in a small quiet neighborhood (but still close to all the activities we came to the area for), we couldn’t have imagined a more peaceful place to spend our week. We really loved this spot and hope to enjoy it again someday!

We have done many AIRBNBS and this was what we expected. Extremely clean, and everything that was advertised. The location was perfect, and close to many local restaurants that we enjoyed. Would consider going back and would highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't been in the area before.

This house is beautiful!! I stayed by myself for my birthday trip and it was 100% worth it. Amazing views, and honestly after staying here I would consider moving to morehead! I love the area, everything is so close, and the beach is right there!! I went to the aquarium and a couple of stores around there. Also went to the oyster bar for oysters of course, my favorite!! All around good trip, I will say the road to get to the house is FULL of potholes, I thought I was in the wrong place at first. Just keep following the road and it’s right there, just beware of the invisible speed bumps haha. Also the shower in the hallway the door doesn’t stay shut so just a heads up, it kept bothering me so I just used the other shower.. but Thankyou so much for letting me stay, you will proably be seeing me again this year!!

Beautiful view of the lake. Peaceful and comfortable. You have everything you need in a home away from home! Fast response from our host. Would stay here again.

Susan was the manager, but the “real” hosts were the owners, Brenda and Mike. Just really friendly, kind, helpful and down to earth. Felt absolutely at home. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with all sorts of condiments and spices. I promise you won’t be needing anything. Lots of nice clean dishes, appliances, etc. The place itself is outstanding in its location on the waters edge. The WiFi isn’t maybe the most reliable with a full house, but it’s adequate. Besides, LOOK at the photos, it’s stunning on the pond.

Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Great place with a beautiful location.

We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

We had wonderful time and enjoyed this place a lot although we only stayed one night. Kate is a very nice and responsive person. She provide very detail information about the cottages and for sure we will come back sometime in the future or recommend to friends. Thank you, Kate.

Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

Great place to stay. Beautiful surroundings, calm and quiet. Lovely drive to the stay as well. We really enjoyed our time in this cottage.

We loved our stay at this cottage. It fit our family nicely between the two houses. We love the peaceful surroundings, enjoyed the roads with snow for cross-country and did snowshoeing through the forest. The extra side house was a bit cooler temperature wise (but that is because it was -12'C outside), and the main house is probably warmer since it has extra baseboard heating. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. We also loved the antiquish look to the place. Would stay again!

From beginning to end this cottage is off the charts. Cute, unique, functiinal, confortable, well organized, thoroughly supplied and the location is private and beautiful.

Peaceful getaway!!!

Quiet winter weekend in a classic Maine cabin. Great communication, everything as expected.

Wow is all we can say!! Anita and David’s place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the fishing, the huge deck, the comfortable living spaces, as well as all the little sitting areas around the property. I especially enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the porch swing! We will definitely be back! Thank you again!!

Lynn was a very responsive and kind host! We had some bad weather during our stay and she reached out to make sure we were aware. Not only that but she let us take shelter in the next door home with a lower level. Truly went above and beyond and made us feel right at home and well cared for.

Doctor was on point. I suffer from a lack of vacation and Andrew was able to cure my ailments. Amenities, a beautiful curb appeal, not one but TWO temp control units in the same cabin? Absolutely the most well thought-out Air BNB you will ever experience. Im trying to be critical and unbiased but this place really is that great!! Can't wait to visit again. Btw - the access to lake, boats, a serene environment.. dark star seeing skies.. how could you resist??

This place is amazing for a family retreat. Very quiet, the river is stunning, you can use the canoes and the kids loved fishing from the deck. Beautiful fireplace, the cabin is equipped with everything you’ll need. Sparkling clean. Absolutely recommended. We will back next year for sure!!!!

Amber’s place was great. We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the two cats that were there. We caught a lot of fish. We plan to return in the summer. I guess you could say the place was perfect !

Fantastic place! The cabin is very cozy, clean and comfortable. It has a tv and the air conditioner works very well! Bathroom was very close by and was also very clean! Campground itself was beautiful! The pool is heated and Theres a Rec center with games. The people are also SUPER friendly and welcoming. We also enjoyed breakfast there on Saturday and Sunday. We can’t wait to return!
