Ryan's place was just perfect! My wife and son stayed there for 2 weeks and it was just the place that they needed. So clean, safe and convenient. Also, Ryan was an incredible host. He was a super clear communicator who made the check in process so easy. But the most amazing thing was that when I had an urgent package of some medications arriving that I had sent for my wife, Ryan jumped in the car and drove over ASAP to ensure that we were able to safely get the package, and he delivered it to the door!! He was awesome, would definitely recommend and stay here again! Thanks Ryan!!

Very helpful to have backyard access for my dogs, beautiful eclectic garden. Very comfortable bed and although I didn’t need the fridge or stove, it’s nice to know they were there. I didn’t notice if there were any utensils or dishes besides mugs. Quiet neighborhood and great sleeping!

Loved the location! Walking distance to almost everything! Brian was very responsive to questions that we had. Beautiful shop (Candi's) and nice pub (A&P) surround entrance. Would definitely recommend staying at Brian's place! A+

I have wanted to stay here since it first opened and finally got the opportunity! Exactly as pictured only bigger. Very peaceful and private as well as clean. Loved visiting the little shops around town and breakfast across the street. The Doe A Deer store is one of my favorite anywhere 😊

What a quaint, charming little apartment! We were coming down for our daughter’s all-state speech in Ames and after looking in Ames at both hotels and Airbnb’s and finding them very expensive- I looked out a little further and found this little gem! It was spacious, clean and comfortable. If allowed us to all hang out together, make supper and relax in the living room. Two nights here were barely more than one night in most of the hotels we were looking at. When we are in the area again we will definitely look to stay here.

We've stayed at Tonya's place multiple times as I travel to Des Moines for work regularly. She is always a great host, great communication, and fast to respond. Being in the center of Des Moines makes it easy to get anywhere we need to go.

This location worked out well for us. It’s close to downtown, so our drive times were short. The house had lots of spaces so we could hang out as a family when we wanted to, and we could find quiet when we wanted to. The washer and dryer are nice amenities. If the weather would have been nicer, we would have enjoyed the backyard more. The neighborhood was quiet, and we liked the off-street parking. The beds were comfortable. Our host left snacks for us which were a surprise! Definitely recommend!

This was an unplanned trip to Iowa from MN. Myself, my husband and his mother came down for our grandfather's funeral. Although the occasion was one of sadness, it was great to have one less worry regarding our sleeping arrangements. This house is close to restaurants and a great art center about 10minutes away. This is definitely a house we will try and stay at over the summer, so we can enjoy the porches, both in the front and back and throw some burgers on the grill!!!

This was our second stay at Ms. Becky’s bungalow. Cozy, clean and well-stocked!

Matt is an excellent host, and he keeps his properties in wonderful condition 👍 This particular location was very peaceful, and suited the needs of my coworkers and I perfectly. I would definitely stay at Matt’s property again

This is one of those fantastic "small but mighty" houses! It was exactly what we needed and was as expected. The location to the fairgrounds is fantastic, which is what we wanted. The house was clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again given the chance!

Takes a special license to figure out how to get some water going in the shower, but it was cool having water coming from 3 spots. Plenty of room down there. Decor sits somewhere between Grandma's basement and the Oval Office. No ice available which would have been nice. Thanks for the coffee though, that was good. Check in/out all fine. Parking narrow dead-end street, one side only but wasn't a big deal. Had the little pups upstairs and their zoomies but all I wanted to do was snuggle up with one each evening. I was never offered and I will be upset over that for quite some time. Wasn't there much but was hoping to have access to watch Netflix woulda been a nice bonus. No big deal though. Overall, worked out great.

Had a lovely stay at Jeff's place! The condo was lovely, nicely decorated and comfortable. We felt welcome right away with a nice card from Jeff and some snacks. We had everything we needed at the condo including a comfortable bed and pull out sofa and a full kitchen. Light sleepers may want to bring a noise machine or ear plugs as the downtown bar crowd can be a little noisy on the weekends. We would love to stay here again the next time we're in Des Moines!

We had a great stay for a week in this Airbnb. The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made for a pleasant stay. The location was convenient. However, one of the beds was broken, which made it a bit uncomfortable for the person using it, but we managed. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d recommend this place for others looking for a cozy spot.

NIce industrial/loft setting, clean and well appointed. It was easy walking distance to restaurants and bars downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at this location again.

It was large enough we were able to host a dinner and evening for 8. And the location was perfect.

This was one of my favorite Airbnb thus far. It is perfect location, easy accessible Justin was too tier and overall it is a gem that I really enjoyed will definitely be using again.

The inside of the condo is lovely and has some comfortable extra touches. The value and comfort far exceeds any hotel in the area.

This was the perfect location for us to stay with our dog for a quick trip to Des Moines for a concert! Easy to walk to restaurants and bars downtown, and could easily walk over to wooly’s! The place was beautiful and very clean, also quiet! Very cool building too :) Will definitely stay again, as we enjoyed the space, and Jasmina was great with communication!
