Jeff and Carol were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our stay and they made us feel right at home.

My husband and I stayed here during parent's weekend at University of Lynchburg. The room was as advertised. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Jeff and Carol were very friendly and easy to work with. The room was large, clean and comfortable. We highly recommend!

Jeff and Carol have been amazing hosts for our recent stay! They were warm and welcoming, and all-round very helpful. The place was really beautiful and serene. The pictures did not do it justice, it was a very beautiful home.

Ansolutely immaculate provisions provided b family style. Bath items are family size not individual. They best best I’ve ever slept on in My entire life! Things here have a clean squared off finish, not a fluffy sinking feeling. This is fine. The look of the bed seemed like it would be hard and I could have failed asleep the moment I sat down. Beyond clean. Everything in place to easily respect property. Two bedrooms. Advertised for 5. With children perhaps. We are two retired adults and were quite comfortable.

Wanda was the absolute best! We’ve stayed at many places in Lynchburg over the years. The Acorn Hill Lodge will be our go to spot from now on. From the super amazing cozy king size bed, to the absolutely delicious made to order complementary breakfast to our pup being welcomed like a member of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Oh, and the spa!!! My daughter had the full body hot stone massage and was in heaven!! This place is a must!!

Jeff and Carol's place is great. I stayed here a few years ago, and was pleased with the stay this time as well. I wish we'd had time (and energy) to use the hot tub - it was ready for us to use. I liked the upstairs space with the fridge. I will definitely stay here again if I need a space like that. Thank you both!

I would highly recommend Jeff and Carol’s Airbnb! They were welcoming and hospitable, they not only have a great hot tub but kindly encourage guests to use it, and the guest rooms feel like home. The location is perfect - nearby the busiest areas in Lynchburg, but in a private and peaceful neighborhood. I’ll definitely come stay again!

My son and I just had an overnight stay. It was comfortable and clean and the Susan and husband were very friendly! I felt safe there and slept well. Thank you for having us. Bonus - they have a border collie and if you don’t know they are the best dogs in the world !!!

we had a lovely sleepover. i have never stayed in an airbnb where the host lives among us. i was surprised as to how easy it was for me to feel comfortable and safe and happy. i was sad to go. having breakfast prepared for us at the hour we requested evoked a feeling only akin to that of my late-grandmom. the quilts atop the beds and sofa were so beautiful, i almost dared myself to ask if susan would ever have some for sale… thankful to a site like airbnb to allow me to find such a pleasant, beautiful home to stay in overnight on our long journey home

This place is great and it exceeded my expectations! The common area (that could be shared with another room) is quite large and spacious. The best part of all is that Susan makes a sumptuous hot breakfast every morning, using fresh farm eggs! She is very friendly and gracious, and she truly enjoys serving her guests in this way. If I could rate this place a 10 on the 5 point Airbnb scale I would!
