Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und verfügt über alles was man braucht. Der Gastgeber hat uns sehr herzlich mit Tee empfangen. Er hat uns bei unseren Unternehmungen unterstütz und tolle Tipps gegeben. An einem Abend war wir zu müde um in die Stadt zu laufen, da hat er für uns ohne zu zögern Essen organisiert. Ich würde diese Unterkunft sofort wieder bucheb und kann sie von Herzen empfehlen.

We had an amazing stay at this Arugam Bay Airbnb! The space was incredibly spacious, with balconies galore, offering stunning views. The interior design was both beautiful and functional, making our stay truly comfortable. The kitchen was a lifesaver for our midnight cravings, and the pedestal fans were a thoughtful touch that made a big difference. But what really made our stay special was Adam's exceptional hospitality. He ensured our comfort, from taking care of the house to kindly accompanying me to Eid prayers and even lending me his serong. Adam's thoughtfulness and helpfulness made our stay truly unforgettable. We highly recommend this Airbnb for its spaciousness, functionality, and exceptional hosting. Thank you, Adam!

This was an amazing stay! I wish I stayed longer. The owners Asith and his wife have made a lovely piece of heaven in the mountains. The property and it's surrounding are a dream! The hosts are kind and made us a top notch breakfast. On top of that they are so accommodating and super hard working. There are some considerations when people choose to book, if you're bringing a mini van it's a bit tricky, but the owners make it work! But just keep in mind roads are narrow. They provide their tuk tuk to help as well.

My stay at this place by the water was simply & good. The natural sounds and the view of the temple create an peaceful atmosphere—perfect for relaxation. My host was fantastic!!!He speaks excellent English, gave me great tips, and even organized a full-day tour for me. He was patient, kind, and always helpful. The accommodation is slightly away from the tourist crowds—exactly what I was looking for. I stayed for two nights and was completely satisfied. The room had everything I needed, including a small balcony.

We travelled with our 3 year old daughter and had an exceptionally nice stay! We recommend it 100%. Stunning views, peaceful surroundings. Fantastic breakfasts served on the beautiful terrace. It’s even better than the pictures! The host family was extremely kind and helpful at all times. The house is located at walking distance to 9 Arch Bridge and about 15 min by tuk tuk/car from central Ella. It’s super easy to find transport and to get around. We will for sure cone back and enjoy this house and Ella! Thank you so much.

Incredibly kind host family. They were always helpful, gave us a ride into town and organized a scooter for us. We used the home stay to explore the Ella region. While Ella is super touristy, the town of the Airbnb is very genuine and we loved the hustle and bustle. It is a separate apartment with a separate entrance. You’ll have everything you need including 2 bedrooms, 2 new bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and terrace overlooking the property.

Dawn’s place has a gorgeous view. It was about a 15 minute walk out of the centre of the town Ella, but to us this is what made it so special. It was in a really quiet valley with gorgeous views across the expanse of green and nature surrounding us. We found the actual town of Ella to be very touristy and commercial, so the peaceful serenity of Dawn’s place was perfect for us. We could go on lovely hikes from there. The room is simple but very comfortable and clean and with a fan stays cool. It has the loveliest little terrace where we sat and read and had delicious breakfasts of fruit and Sri Lankan goodies. Dawn’s team was so lovely and smiley.

Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und fuhren uns sogar für wenig Geld zu einem abgelegenen Wasserfall. Dort konnten wir schwimmen gehen und gut entspannen. Das Air BnB befindet sich in einer super Lage und die Stadt ist in maximal 5 Minuten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch bemerkenswert ist der Blick auf den vorbeifahrenden Zug. Das Zimmer an sich ist sehr Sauber übergeben worden und gut gepflegt. Leider ist es dort etwas feucht und etwas Schimmel setzt an den Wänden an. Insgesamt dennoch ein super Preisleistungsverhältnis und absolut ausreichend für ein bis zwei Nächte. Hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichen Gastgeber🙂

Communication was great before & during our stay. Our time here was excellent. Magnificent views, comfortable living. Comfortable beds. Rooftop breakfasts a great way to start the day. Shan & JP were super helpful with recommendations and advice for Ella. Also arranged transport for us to local sites and offered to arrange our transfer to our next destination if we needed.

Great host and lovely apartment. Really clean. Fantastic views. Always helpful with organising Tuktuks and travel and recommendations. Amazing breakfast as well! Thanks!
