Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt auf dem Hausboot! Die Ausstattung war top und alles war sauber und das Wohnzimmer, sowie das Esszimmer waren sehr gemütlich. Perfekt zum Entspannen und Genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren zu viert auf dem Hausboot von Jan. Das Boot liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, nah vom Olympiazentrum. Etwas außerhalb, bis ins Zentrum von Amsterdam mit der Metro ca. 20 Minuten. Das Hausboot war gemütlich und sauber, Jan hat uns am ersten Tag persönlich begrüßt und der Kontakt war sehr nett. Es stehen 4 Fahrräder zur Verfügung, die wir aber nicht genutzt haben, da die Niederländer eine zu rasante Fahrweise haben...🫣 wir hatten 4 tolle Tage in Amsterdam und am Hausboot.

Kay and Santiago were extremely helpful and hospitable, they were highly responsive and very accomodating when we asked about leaving our baggage at the property + checking out late. The houseboat is in a lovely location, close to public transport but also easily walkable to different suburbs and surrounding areas. It is exactly as listed, easily accessible and comfortable for 4 people to stay in. Santiago was kind enough to send a very helpful list of recommendations for the city, would definitely recommend and hope to book here again.

Had an amazing stay on the houseboat with my two girlfriends. Anouk was a fantastic host, very communicative and helpful with recommendations and what to do. Place was adorable!

We had a good time! Due to the good weather we enjouyed our stay at the water side.

Es war ein sehr toller und schöner Aufenthalt bei Steven. Die Erfahrung auf einem Boot zu schlafen war super interessant. Steven ist ein sehr freundlicher und netter Gastgeber. Seine Bootstour ist nur zu empfehlen. Sie ist super interessant und auch sehr lustig. Zudem gibt sich Steven dabei sehr viel Mühe und bietet auch ein Picknick auf dem Boot an. In der Unterkunft hat uns der freundlichste Hund der Welt erwartet. Den wir immer gerne geknuddelt haben. Allem in allem war es ein wunderschönes Wochenende und ich kann Steven und das schöne Örtchen Weesp nur empfehlen.

We were so lucky to be able to stay in such a beautiful place! The beds were comfy, the surroundings were peaceful and beautiful... it was a lovely escape from the busy, city-center. We LOVED the use of the kitchen and the deck just off the kitchen. Hein was so good to have bikes available for us. There is little available directly near the home but a 10 minute bike ride along the lovely road and over the bridge gets you to all you could want. We were sad to leave our Amsterdam home and will hope Hein's home is available when we return.

Wir haben zwischen Weihnachten und Silvester einen Familienurlaub mit unseren zwei erwachenen Kindern in Justin´s schwimmenden Haus verbracht. Es war ideal um in Ruhe Zeit miteinander zu haben. Das Haus ist sauber und modern eingerichtet, die Heizung ist auch im Winter wunderbar warm und man hat alles was man braucht. Meistens haben wir am Tag einen Ausflug nach Rotterdam, Amsterdam oder ans Meer gemacht, was nur 30-45 min. entfernt liegt. Abends haben wir im Haus gekocht, gespielt, gelesen oder auch mal einen Film geschaut. Alles war prima, und sehr zu empfehlen.

Einfach zu finden. Gastgeberin spricht zwar nur Niederländisch, hat sich aber gut vorbereitet mit einer Übersetzungapp. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und man kann den Bus nach Amsterdam zu Fuß erreichen

- [ ] This was truly the perfect place for our Amsterdam visit! The houseboat is serene, spacious, and cozy—we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Our party of three adults had plenty of space for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is lovely, with charming bars and coffee shops, yet still so close to all the main sights. The canal is peaceful at night, which made for incredibly restful sleep. Fern is an outstanding host—welcoming, gracious, and always quick to respond. We’d book again in a heartbeat and can’t recommend this houseboat enough!

Surprisingly pracefull place in the middle of an industrial and bussines aerea. Some trees, water around, free parking - for even two cars. Close by Utrecht, just lovely. We have enjoyed peace and family gathering surrounded by water and ducks. Comfortable beds, good equieped kitchen, even dishwasher. It was a nice week.

This houseboat is a true magical dream paradise. It’s cozy, does not seem small at all, and has all the touches to make it feel TRULY like your home in Amsterdam… the hammock and outdoor patio, the big couch and pull-down projector screen, the fully equipped kitchen, the incredibly comfortable bed. Unlike some places that feel like soulless hotels, this is a beautiful, warm, welcoming home. I absolutely will be coming back here when I visit Amsterdam in the future.

Our stay at Claire’s place was nothing short of magical. The location is hard to beat in the heart of Jordaan, steps away from great Dutch cafes, every restaurant we ate at was within a ten minute walk, every one was fantastic. As well as minutes walk from transit. Somehow though being in the middle of everything, being on the water in this houseboat makes you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. Claire has great taste, her home is designed impeccably, with one of the major highlights being the record player, listening to classics like the Beatles, Bowie, The Doors while sitting on the back porch taking in the incredible view of the canal. Bonus was the most efficient washer dryer I used during my 3 week stay in Europe and the large dishwasher. Had we stayed longer, we would have cooked, there was a fully stocked Chefs kitchen. Thanks for the perfect end to our adventure!

Would stay at Anne's place again

Beautiful establishment, host is excellent at communication. The boat is based very central and was very clean.

This unique spot was perfect for enjoying the art and food of Amsterdam. 30ish minutes on public transit to basically anything and walking distance to great museums and restaurants. We also enjoyed the neighbors and their recommendations.

We enjoyed the stay at the boat house a lot! The location is beautiful and we loved the views as well as accessibility to the places around. There are assigned co-hosts who are very responsive if you have any questions or issues, big thanks to Philo for helping us with everything and Nina for calling us to check up if everything is great. The boat has everything needed for a stay - comfy beds and sofa, toaster and coffee machine, bean bags to sit and cozy living room. The kitchen might not have enough pans, but overall is good if you prefer to cook on your own. It's not a 100inch TV as it was marked in the description due to typo, but it's pretty good if you want to watch some netflix or youtube at night. There is street parking nearby, which is quite pricey, but hosts can advise on the parking house nearby. We had a lovely stay and would love to come back again!

Klein aber Fine - waren sehr zufrieden. Alles nötige war vorhanden und wir hatten einen super schönen Aufenthalt. Super Lage und super Airbnb. Kann ich jedem empfehlen der mal was „anderes“ ausprobieren möchte

Wir wollten uns für den Jahreswechsel etwas richtig schönes gönnen und haben hier einen wunderbaren atmosphärischen Ort gefunden. Auf Veras und Georges Hausboot kann man ganz toll die Seele baumeln lassen und auch sehr gut kochen - die Küche ist großartig ausgestattet. Der Wohlfühlfaktor auf einem Hausboot ist sowieso toll, was sich durch die hochwertige gemütliche Einrichtung noch erhöht. Wir haben die Auszeit sehr genossen und fühlten uns von den beiden herzlich willkommen! Besonders hilfreich waren Veras zahlreiche Tipps zu (Fahrrad)Ausflügen in die Umgebung. Wir waren sehr froh, dass wir trotz halbguten Wetters unsere Fahrräder mitgenommen haben und so die wunderschöne Umgebung mit den vielen hübschen Örtchen erkunden konnten.

Amazing experience! Being on a houseboat in Amsterdam made our trip so memorable! - The home is just as pictured - The bed is super comfortable - Fully stocked kitchen with anything you could need. - We booked after I found out I was pregnant, and I was worried the house would move on the water, making nausea difficult, but it absolutely does not, even on windy, rainy days. - The area is VERY quiet and peaceful. We felt extremely safe walking around at night. - They have 2 bikes you can rent daily at your leisure. This was perfect for us because some days we wanted to walk into the city, and some days we preferred to bike. Everything was about a 10-15 minute bike ride on mostly flat roads. - Walking, depending on the neighborhood you head to, 20-45 mins—but it’s so beautiful that walking days were some of our favorite. (We didn’t use public transit, but there is the option.) The hosts were very kind, welcoming, and responsive. Perfect stay :) Book it! You won’t regret it!

Das Hausboot von Hjalte in Vinkeveen ist wirklich etwas ganz besonderes und nur wärmstens zu empfehlen. Strategisch sehr günstig zwischen Amsterdam und Utrecht gelegen kommt man von dort bequem in beide Städte. Die Lage an einem ausgebaggerten Torfweiher ist wunderschön und es ist nett morgens von den Enten auf dem schwimmenden Ponton vor dem Hausboot begrüßt zu werden. Was vielleicht aus der Beschreibung nicht ganz klar wird: Auf der Straße kann man nur kostenlos im Winter (vom 1.10. bis 31.3.) parken, ansonsten gibt es einen kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz für 10€ am Tag bzw. per Ausfahrt. Von der Straße zum Hausboot gibt es nur einen ca. 7 Minuten langen Gehweg, der leider in der Nacht sehr schlecht, bzw. gar nicht beleuchtet ist. Für den Transport des Gepäcks gibt es aber an der Straße kostenlose Wägelchen zum Ausleihen. Hjalte selber haben wir nicht kennen gelernt. Er war aber sehr gut über Wh…App erreichbar und hat uns so viele Hinweise zum Checkin und der Unterkunft gegeben.
